my therapist told me that music may be a good way to deal with my shit so the next time something particularly bad happens i should try putting together a playlist that expresses my emotions in the moment, anyway i hate men and the first song on this is called anti-parent cowboy killer a.k.a riot grrrl essentials for taking out your societally repressed feminine rage

classical music to make you feel like the rebellious anti-hero in a period piece movie a.k.a me finally acting on my grandma’s desire for me to listen to more classical music

instrumental and lofi pieces that help me feel like i’m being productive even though all i’ve done all day is stare blankly at my ceiling and think about the sheer tragedy of it all, this was meant to be a study mix to help me get shit done, i’m trying, it’s just that haven’t learnt anything in a year and a half

i watch cowboy bebop at least once every single year and always finish it wanting nothing more than to be part of a ragtag group of space bounty hunters in an alternate universe where humanity has colonized the solar system and i can be a space cowgirl with a cool spaceship who smokes too many cigarettes

i’ve been trying to quit smoking so i made a playlist of all the songs that reminded me of cigarettes to listen to instead of smoking, it’s hasn’t worked out all that well so far but the playlist kind of bangs

getting lost in the woods with a group of people you’re only just getting to know as you all get wrapped up in a mystical adventure you know nothing about and understand very little of, but it’s worth it because in the end you get a whole new family of loved ones and the story of a lifetime

summer before the pandemic, going skinny dipping at night, stealing ice cream bars from the neighbourhood store, tiny swimsuits and too much sun and all the friends you can imagine, doing whatever you want wherever you want to do it
