Yippee! I finally get to play d&d again!

I rolled up an incredibly dextrious and charismatic Tabaxi Swashbuckler Rogue (named Lily Whitepaw), and I just had to draw her.

I forgot how much I love drawing Tabaxi/cat characters, I should really draw more :3

It could be ADHD and/or dysgraphia maybe?

I have ADHD and it impacts my ability to read. When something is interesting I tend to read fast, so fast that I will sometimes skip sentences, which makes rereading favorite books fun. When something is not particularly interesting to my brain I can read the same paragraph 3 times and not retain any of it.

My Dad and brother have dysgraphia and it impacts your ability to write (penmanship and coherence) so they would have accommodations to use dictating software to write their words or take verbal exams instead of written. It can also overlap with ADHD

I don’t mean to be nosy; I just thought this might be helpful :3

Whatever ends up being the cause, you shouldn’t feel like a faker or imposter. If this is something you’re struggling with or if it’s impacting your life, then it’s real and you should be able to get the accommodations you need to feel happy :3

Does anyone else have a ridiculously named fast food restaurant near where they live?

There’s a fast food place called Dick’s Drive-In that only exists in Washington, mainly in Seattle though also in the surrounding area.

There is no seating unless you have a car, but the lines can get pretty long because it’s pretty low cost for low-mid grade fast food. They’ve made a point to keep the price low and also to use fresh ingredients (not frozen). They’re also pretty good about treating their employees well and give pretty good benefits and even scholarships to college kids. As a result, they’re pretty popular with everyone and they even sell merch.

So sometimes when my friends ask where to eat, we’ll be like, “Let’s get some Dick’s!” “It’s been a while since we’ve had Dick’s”. Sometimes my roommate will pick some up and when they come back they’re like “I got a hot bag of Dick’s!”.

It just makes me laugh; I’ve heard people say “I love eating Dick’s!” in reference to the restaurant without any irony so many times.

The first step is to put more points into the Animal Handling skill. This will allow you to get closer to animals without triggering attacks. Then you can use a special device called a “Jar” to contain your new animal summon. When you want to use your summon, you can throw the “Jar” containing your summon at the person drawing your ire. Be warned however! There is only a 75% chance that they will chase your intended target, and a 25% chance they will seek revenge on you for removing them from their abode. To increase odds of success, try to stay about 10-12 feet away from the target and perhaps be hiding behind a tree or other cover when you throw the “Jar”. The “Jar” should have holes in it so your summon can breathe even while contained btw.

Another way to become an insect summoner is to befriend the Bee Queen, as those in her favor are granted command over her legion of bees. This is a bit more difficult as you would need to communicate entirely through dance, and it takes like 8-10 hangouts for the Bee Queen to feel like she’s friends with you. So if you have the stamina to dance that much, it’s a good option, but your feet will likely have blisters by the time you can summon her bees for your own ends.

Stella doesn’t really seem interested dating any of the townsfolk, I wonder if she’s already taken 🤔

In other news, some townsfolk report seeing a strange shadowy figure walking to Stella’s farm late at night. It’s always a little too dark to make out what it is, but those who catch a glimpse of it report that its walk is rather jaunty and it’s often whistling a cheery (if haunting) melody.
