FREE RICE - Official UN World Food Program free nonprofit game that Feeds those in Need!! https://freerice.com/
What does it do?
You play simple trivia games in-browser, and for every correct answer you will help raise "rice" (meaning money to go into emergency relief such as rice and other foods) to help feed those most in need.
Freerice officially works with the United Nations World Food Program (see: https://unric.org/en/freerice/ ), which serves, as of writing:
State of Palestine
Afghanistan
Ethiopia
Ukraine
Sudan
Yemen
See more listed here: https://www.wfp.org/emergencies, as linked from Freerice
How does it work?
Private sponsors now match the rice grains earned in the game. Every question you answer correctly earns 10 grains of rice, triggering a financial payment to WFP. The donations generated through Freerice help support WFP's work in emergencies around the world. (source: https://freerice.com/frequently-asked-questions )
100% of all funds generated via Freerice go to the World Food Programme. Freerice does not earn or keep any money it raises.(source: https://freerice.com/about-us)

My name is Tala Nassar, I'm 17 years old from Gaza.
My mother is in critical medical condition. She was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in her left breast.
Her condition is indescribably serious, and her diagnosis worsens day by day. This situation has been exacerbated by the recent bombings and ground invasion of our area in Nusairat. Her condition has deteriorated further due to the toxic gases from bombs dropped just meters away from our home, and even from the smoke resulting from cooking over an open fire due to the lack of gas.
We have been displaced to the city of Rafah and are still living in makeshift tents, and she has not received any treatment since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza. The only cancer hospital in Gaza has been completely destroyed for a long time. Her weakened immune system and diabetes make matters worse, as finding any medication at the moment is impossible. We are incredibly afraid of the possibility of a malignant tumor or something worse occurring.
Please help us. We desperately need medical assistance for my mother, and time is running out for us. Your support can make a difference in saving her life.
The International Court of Justice told Israel to immediately halt its attack on Rafah. So Israel decided to bomb a UN tent camp.
We are witnessing beheaded children being pulled out of a a sea of burning tents. We are witnessing the bombing of displaced people in a humanitarian area.
I didn’t think we could see anything more brutal than the things we’ve seen in the last eight months. But tonight’s massacre in Rafah is unspeakable. There are truly no words left.
If you cannot stop the injustice, please, at least speak up about it.
Right before the Governor of Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, was supposed to speak at the graduation, a large group of students walked out on him. Youngkin says he ‘fully supports’ how police handled (which was by assault) pro-Palestinian protests on Virginia college campuses just a few days ago.
At the risk of sounding anti-intellectual, I think that college should be free and also not a requirement for employment outside of highly specialized career fields
The Lemkin Institute for Genocide has released a statement saying that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and the United States is complicit. The statement was released in the aftermath of the horrific attack on a refugee camp in Rafah
In April, Lemkin also issued a genocide alert for the West Bank
