Superhero: Yes, but I didn't want to interrupt him. He has ... such a way with words.
A supervillain known for going on tangents during a monologue has captured the hero. The hero broke free of the restraints a while ago but pretends to remain captured to see how off topic the supervillain will get.
Bridgerton Season 1: "writes Lady Danbury into the main story as an old friend and guide for the love interest"
Bridgerton Seaon 2: "writes Lady Danbury into the main story as a sponsor and guide for the love interest"
Bridgerton Season 3, based on the first book where Lady Danbury is in the main story as a friend and guide to the love interest: "writes Lady Danbury out of the main story she could be easily included in and instead gives her an unnecessary relative no one has ever heard of before"
The same people will be praising that Bridgerton created a historically inaccurate fantasy Regency world for non-white people but then turn around and say it can't have a queer main love story because that would be "not realisitic for the time period to be a successful accepted love". Why are you only suddenly demanding realism when it comes to queer love? Or are you utilising realism because you donÄt want to see queer love? Does Bridgerton not have enough room for more aspects of inclusivity than only the racial one? It's a love show but extremely narrow in the loves it shows. So, it only can show that people look different but not that people love different? Complaining about the idea of including queerness in Bridgerton screams hypocrisy.

Penelope doesn't get to truly enjoy this ball season, Francesca doesn't enjoy the balls, Eloise as always doesn't, Cressida not anymore, the Queen not anymore, Kate and Anthony enjoyed their one dance and then left, Benedict doesn't care about the balls.
How is it supposed to bring the audience fun and entertainment with this season if not even the characters are entertained by the balls and events anymore?
