jjxjihye:
Another small smile formed on her lips at the otherâs words. Sunhee had always thought to invite her to various events and sheâd always turned them down. As the other had always been kind towards Jihye, she felt obligated to do the same for the other; it was the least she could do. â Iâll keep that in mind, unnie. â
At the mention of the famous actor, an expression of interest overcame the youngerâs face. â I do admire him. Heâs quite handsome and very charming in his dramas. â Jihye admitted with a giggle. â If you would like to, I wouldnât oppose. â She gave the other her input on the situation and she allowed herself to take a seat on the sofa. â You can become Jejuâs next big actress and head back to Seoul one day. Then you can star in a drama with him and I can tell everyone in the entire country that I know you! â
Sunhee nodded, glad to have someone who shared her opinion about that handsome man. Sunhee had actually met him back in Seoul and she could only have good words about him. She even suspected she had fallen in love with him for like five seconds, before he treated her like an adorable younger sister and friendzoned her in front of her father. Being the daughter of the owner of the channel had its advantages, but it also had some bad parts. Â She laughed at her words, shaking her head. "No, no, I would never be an actress, never ever ever. I don't like being in front of the camera" She shared.
She had grown up in between cameras, surrounded by people who were idols and stars, and she had seen the cost of that life style, she had seen how difficult it was to live like that and even more important, she had seen how everyone treated them differently. She was done with that, she was over with people treating her in a special way just because of who her father was, so that world was not an option. "But producing is so much fun! I'll get you tickets and you'll be able to meet all the famous people we hire, I promise!"

â Oh, thank goodness. â Jihye sighed quietly to herself in relief at the fact that Sunhee was home, as well as happy to have been brought coffee. The girl allowed herself to walk through the door, though unsure of where to go from there. In the end, not wanting to intrude into the home of the other any further, the younger decided to take a few steps into the apartment before stopping in order to allow the other to lead.Â
The girl could only bring herself to giggle, a small smile creeping up on her face before finally forming up a response. â Iâve been okay, just a little busy. â It was a generally standard reply, which Jihye used more often than she knew appropriate. However, sheâd just never been very good with small talk. The girl either rambled or said nothing at allâ no in between. â And you, unnie? Are you well? Iâm sorry for intruding so randomly like this. â
âDonât apologize, please, I love surprise visits because I do them all the time but I donât get them often. Which is pretty unfair if you ask me so feel welcomed to stop by whenever you wantâ Sunhee was either here or at work, or well, lost in town since after five months she still didnât know all the streets. But she loved company and she liked it even more when it was someone elseâs initiative. She felt loved, she felt like people thought about her and that was more she could ever ask for.
âiâm good, Iâm good, please sit while I pick up this messâ She said pointing at the papers on the floor.  âI was reviewing a script, I might change from the news to a local production. Nothing like the big dramas but just a short story based on Jeju to gain more visitors. I read it and I imagine Song Joong Ki as the main, you know, just for the sake of my heart because heâs the perfect man, not like we could hire him, but still, his face, you know, itâs nice to think of himâ She rambled, a smile on her face. âIf you also like him we could watch his dramas together I never get tired of his faceâ

in the minutes it takes her neighbor to wrench the door open, panic settles somewhere within the depths of kyungahâs stomach. maybe investigating first before calling the fire station was a bad idea. sunhee was probably trapped, fighting to breathe through all the smoke in her apartment and it was all her fault that the building was going to burn down now, all because she wanted to find the source andâ-
sunhee opens the door, looking bright as ever. the smell, now unobstructed by the heavy wooden door, is much more pungent than expected. cookies? cookies were giving off that scent?
but kyungah isnât exactly surprised. her dear neighbor does have an affinity for cooking, even if she lacks the talent. her vigor is heartwarming and something kyungah can appreciate endlessly â she just wishes her taste buds felt the same.
and so she offers the elder a smile, praying to all the stars in the sky that it looks genuine and not at all like sheâs frightened for her life. âoh, is that what that smell was?â kyungah inquires, furrowing her brow. âi came to investigate ââ it smells⌠delicious!âÂ
despite her rather obvious disinclination to be the test taster, kyungah canât find it in herself to deny. sunhee enjoys the pastime so much, after all. she canât be the one to crush those dreams. so kyungah offers her neighbor a renewed grin, bowing her head in a show of politeness. âiâd love to try them!â
Sunheeâs smile was brighter than the sun in that moment, really glad to have found someone who could try them as soon as they were out of the oven. It wasnât like Sunhee thought the taste would change, but the texture would. When they were warm it was easier to eat them because the moment they were cold, Sunhee hated to admit they were hard as rock, so perhaps today would be the first time that someone would actually think her cookies were amazing.
âItâs the vanilla! I used to always use this vanilla scent but this time I actually got the real deal? But I wasnât sure how to get the extract so I just crushed it and mixed it with the flour. A little got burnt but that was not in the cookies it just fell over the oven and... itâs a long story, but the vanilla didnât really like meâ She almost fell and tripped but she wasnât going to share her clumsy stories in that moment.
âI also have milk, do you want to try the cookies with some of it?â She turned around only to find out the smoke coming from the oven. âOh no! Not again!â She quickly moved to turn it off, opening the door of it only to find more smoke. âAigoo, I hope there are some that can be saved, I should have counted the time!â She complained, disappointed.

jjxhwijae:
Hwijae just shrugs because he was simply giving a thought. It is possible that there is nothing wrong with the flower and it is possible that there is nothing wrong with her. However he is just joking around anyways, and the last thing he was trying to do was make the conversation anything too serious. Hwijae has never been too metaphorical or philosophical of a man. He is straightforward and he really thinks that has a lot to do with the fact that he is just not thoughtful enough to come up with those comparisons. He does not give his mind enough time to process things or come up with intellectual comments. So it is easier for him to just speak everything and the other person is left to decipher.Â
âNo one is to blame. Itâs all a big misunderstanding. Thatâs it. Donât worry even a bit. Iâll make sure that I donât call her parents or punish her. itâs her first complaint and I am a strong believer in second chances. You too. Maybe tomorrow if you come back, youâll find that you both can end up friends.â He says with a large smile, moving around to try and find some flowers that would please people who would otherwise throw someone out. Then again, it is very few people in the world that know the meaning behind the flowers that he selects. To most they are just beautiful to look at and in that they find happiness. And that is all that matters. If they donât understand the meaning, it hardly matters.Â
âOh I totally understand that. I ambush my friends all the time. Itâs one of the reasons I became a florist in the first place. I can take flowers whenever I want so no one can kick me out when I show up unannounced.â He jokes. though there are many benefits to being a florist that he does take full advantage of. Hwijae after all never has to worry about people being too angry with him because he has the support of his flowers. After all no one could be mad at a man with flowers, whether it was a man or women. âDonât worry. Iâll make such a beautiful arrangement that theyâll be too grateful that you brought them such a wonderful piece of art that they canât get mad or kick you out.âÂ
Sunhee nodded, completely satisfied about the fact that the flower was not going to be punished and that she didnât end up being one of those annoying people who complained about everything. One more sneeze and this time she smiled, taking it as a good thing since her body seemed to recognize the flower, or something, so instead of taking it as an offense, she turned it into a compliment. âI already like the flower, I think we are friends alreadyâ The thing with Sunhee was that her mind changed as quick as the time on the clock, and one moment she could be thinking something bad only for the second later to consider it a completely good thing.
Inconsistent, that was how Sunhee was. Everything made sense in her mind, of course, she just didnât expect others to understand how her thinking process was. She thought about things under a different light, and she couldnât ask others to always put themselves in her place. âI tried to learn how to bake you know, so I could show up with cakes and cookies but I failed at that and now my friends will run away the moment they see me carrying something in my handsâ It was a shame because she really did try, but her fame now was a horrible one.
âFlowers are definitely nicer than burnt cookiesâ She agreed, having all the time to wait for the arrangement. She was not in a hurry so she didnât mind waiting, plus, the view around her was pretty great. There were so many colors and smells that she was sure she would never be done analyzing everything. âIs this your store?â

Rather than replying to the messages, Jihye decided to go ahead and nudge the ringer with the edge of the drink holder. In a matter of just a few moments, the girl could hear the chiming echo inside, alerting the tenant of her presence outside.
She fumbled a bit with the carrier in her hand, not sure of whether or not sheâd made a mistake in simply showing up at the otherâs home unannounced. Within the moments sheâd spent waiting, Jihye could only allow a fluster of worried thoughts to rush across her mind.
What if Sunhee wasnât at home? What if she hates the taste of coffee? What if she had other guests over? What if she had plans and Jihye was just preventing her from getting ready for those said plans? Each thought became more flustered than the one before until the sound of a door opening caused the girl to look up suddenly, forcing an unusually large smile on her face.
â Oh! Hello! â She exclaimed, giggling slightly due to the nervous feeling in her stomach. â Iâve come bearing giftsâ a coffee, from work. â
Sunhee squealed excited when she saw her friend there at the door, not expecting her company but loving the fact that she was there. It was often that Sunhee felt like a pushover, like she was forcing her company on other people so whenever someone else took the initiative, she truly felt like the luckiest person on earth. âAh youâre amazing! Please come in! This coffee will save my life I was about to fall asleepâ Reading always made her a little lazy, so this was simply perfect.
âHow have you been? Ah, excuse me, my place is a mess. I was supposed to clean everything but then I got distracted with a song and I started dancing around and when I noticed the time I freaked out so I started working and now Iâm just tired and itâs the perfect time for a breakâ She rambled, trying to somehow make her place look a little more presentable.

âI donât know if they are rules. These are just the rules I follow. What rules do you follow?â
He looked at the woman with a peculiar expression wondering if she was really taking his words seriously or just playing along as well. Truth be told Kyuhan was only half joking because it wouldnât be out of character for him to demand reparations for the fact that he had wasted time on a date that didnât even show up. However he also knew that was not how these friend type relationships worked because they were not business deals. They were personal or something of that nature. So maybe in that sense she was right to say that it wasnât something that should be done and he was leading her astray. Kyuhan couldnât say and he was sure that everyoneâs definitions of friendship were different. He, well he didnât really have a definition of friendship. It didnât exist in his life anymore.Â
âI had a date with a disappearing girl so maybe they arenât as sweet and kind as you think.â
He pointed out with a laugh before looking at her attempt to convince him with amusement. She was a stranger but he had always found it entertaining to try and understand the strangers around him and since he was having a meal anyways, he might as well have company along with it right? Though he also didnât agree to terms that easily so Kyuhan shook his head at her offer.Â
âWhat about your friends? They did the same thing. I want to punish my friends for my blind date. Thatâs one date. Why should they pay the price of your friendsâ poor judgement? You see, one bad judgement means one meal. Each of our sets of friends made one bad judgement so each pay one meal.âÂ
He wondered where she was pulling all these conclusions about him. He had hardly been trying to be vague with his answers for once and maybe it was the fact that he naturally got used to hiding some details that he didnât really notice it anymore. Or maybe he just never learned how to have regular conversation but this time there had been no ulterior motive in trying to hide his identity. And he was still being held accountable, and the thought made him smile because maybe it was true. Somethings just never changed.Â
âI committed to this place for two years. I just moved a lot as a kid. So I can list every place Iâve stayed or just save the geography lesson and say Iâve been everywhere. Though since you mentioned it, do you have a lot of secrets that need hiding? Do you want me to share my tips on secrecy since Iâm apparently good at it.â
âDuring dates? You know, I make myself look as pretty as I can, and I take at least two dates before I let him hold my handâ That was about it, wasnât it? She had no experience at these things so she just moved according to what her common sense said. It was a sad thing though, to admit that her common sense was not the most common of all, which usually got her in troubles. âBut I never knew that my friends should pay for this, this is a new and interesting discover. Itâs not like Iâm stood up all the time, but I donât have the best of lucks with these thingsâ Maybe it was because she talked too much, she didnât truly know.
âMaybe they just chose the wrong girl, maybe they arenât as disappearing and mean as you thinkâ She told him back, using his very same words but adapting them to her point. She shook her head, it seemed like he still did not understand. âI canât ask my friends to pay for this, but you could make them pay for a double dinner and then tell them it was all their fault. If they didnât set you up with someone who didnât show up, this crazy girl wouldnât have insisted to eat with you and you wouldnât have been forced to spend the evening hearing her ramble. Iâm the crazy girl, but not really, this is all for the sake of what you will tell your friends. Iâm actually a pretty good companyâ Lies, she did ramble, and chances were he would regret it. But he didnât need to know that.
âI have a lot of secretsâ She confessed, proving with her own acts that she sucked at keeping them to herself. âYou could have said that earlier instead of being so vague. Although maybe the mysterious vibe work with others, I just like honestyâ She shrugged, suddenly smiling. âWould you tell me those tips over dinner then?â

There werenât many people that brought genuine smiles into his lips, a good and warm feeling in his heart. He was past the point of trying to understand why someone so completely different from him like Sunhee was among those few. He was usually quite bothered by ones like her, he couldnât really figure out why she was an exception but he was fine with it. Chuckling along with her, he tilted his head slightly as he pretended to be lost in thought for a moment. âYouâre saved as second favorite person. My own house occupies the number one favorite spot.â He humored with a smirk.
Shaking his head, he motioned his hands around as if it was nothing to worry too much about, and it truly wasnât. Jae turned to show his palm, the very end of it scratched, a bit of the skin gone and blood seeping out from small bruises. âI didnât get my daily dose of caffeine and fell.â The young man explained with a shrug, feeling even more dumb about it saying those words out loud. ââwait, why Charizard? Iâve always thought I was the Venusaur type, looking grumpy and ready to ready to fight, or take a nap.â
Her eyes got smaller as she looked at him with suspicion, trying to decide if being second on his phone was a good or a bad thing. âWhy would you need to call home? Because if you donât, then I should be number one, and even if youâre just speaking of your favorite place in the entire world, I am a person, not a face, hence why I should be your favorite person anyways. You have no excuse, Jaesung-sshi, Iâm your favorite person whether you want it or notâ She lectured him, pretty sure she was attacking him with a flawless logic.
âAh, that happens to me quite often, Iâm not ashamed to admit it so you shouldnât be eitherâ She told him as she looked through her purse, happy to find the band aids package immediately. âNo, no, Charizard looks scary like he can eat you up but he has a tender heart that people just donât understand. But I get you, thatâs why youâre a Charizard and not a lazy Venasaurâ

each moment is her reminder. there is no escape. no refuge she can seek. no asylum to shield her from her past, from her background for as long as she wishes. how is it possible that the woman before her as not been found yet? resources plentiful, surely her parents would have been looking for her. if what she said is true. they didnât know she was here. rian is not to tell anyone. it seems unlikely they donât know but maybe others are smarter than rian. no, not perhaps. they are. they are not cowards. they do not fear losing what they hate. she is a coward that is unable to leave even if she wants. the cage door could be left open and she still would not fly out. hats off to her parents for grooming her with such fear she is unable to act out of line even given a chance.Â
âthey teach dance there. no harm in trying. if you want i can introduce you to a few teachers i know who are really good.â an offer to an old friend. she has always gotten the sense that sunhee is among the nicer of those in their circles. among the more honest. what she says is what she means. not like rian. not like the geums. not like the majority. perhaps this is the reason she left. the reason she was able to go. âwhat channel? iâll be sure to watch.â smile adorns her features as she takes a sip of the coffee that was all but forgotten in the surprise reunion.Â
Sunhee couldnât help but laugh at her suggestion, imagining herself taking classes there. âDo you hate the teachers in there? Because you would be giving them the hardest time with me as a student. Sadly, my coordination is just non existent. My brain canât connect to my legs too fast, thatâs why Iâm always tripping and fallingâ She explained to her, a condition she had already accepted and embraced as her own. She couldnât move elegantly like her mother, she could not dance like a kpop idol, she was truly not good at many, many things.
âOh itâs the Jeju Station, youâll love it. I mean, itâs not as fancy as SBS; and the productions cannot be compared to the ones from Seoul, but itâs fun and keep you updated to everything related to Jeju. I am always looking for new content so if you ever have a suggestion or want anything to be featured in the news, you should let me knowâ She told her excited. After all, Sunhee loves her work. It could be perhaps, the only thing sheâs good at.

{ @jjxsunhee }
Jihye hardly ever spent much quality time with anyone. Not that she didnât want to, she just could not find the time to. As of late, Sunhee had fallen victim of Jihyeâs rejections. Time and time again, the younger would be invited to bowling outings, dinners, and movies. Each invitation had only ever received a decline in response.Â
Feeling guilty towards the kindness she received but did not return, Jihye decided it was time to be the one of the two to make plans. With the approval of her manager, the girl was able to work a few hours at the cafe before getting released early from her shift. Immediately, she headed back towards the Oksun Duplex, two coffees in hand.
â Unnie! Are you home? I have a surprise for you. â
She barely managed to send the text message, balancing the drink holder in the opposite hand as she opened the door for herself. Luckily, the other lived on the first floor, so it wasnât too long before Jihye was waiting (inwardly excited) outside Sunheeâs door.
Sunhee was reviewing a script for the next day but she was lucky enough to do it at home. It wasnât like she didnât want to be at work, she loved it, but her schedule was more flexible than most and all the work for that very same day was already done. So she was laying on the floor of her living room, papers thrown around her in what she would claim was a very specific classification system, but she was already distracted and wishing to be done.
Her phone alarm was like a sound made in heaven, and as she read the text she smiled. âI love surprises! Yes, Iâm home, are you coming? Should I look for you? Are you at work? What are you doing?â Maybe she should have sent just one answer, instead of sending so many questions to her friend.
She waited, because she wasnât sure what Jihyeâs plans were, and if she left the house now and she was on her way she would miss her, but if she stayed and if she was waiting for her somewhere else... well, she would miss her too. So now Sunhee was truly confused, unsure of what to do.

jjxkyungah:
kyungah is finding a new life on jeju island. aside from bills to pay and money to earn it is, in many ways, easier than her previous one. her neighbors are quiet but friendly, and the view from her apartment is picturesque. quite worthy of a postcard, if she does say so herself. at long last, it seems sheâs finally carving her own path for the future. no more waking up in the morning and wishing she could be someone else, no more working toward a degree she didnât want. she is a free woman, independent and fully capable of making her own decisions. how exhilarating.
her current decision, she realizes with a sniff, is figuring out what that god awful smell is. something akin to that of a decomposing animal, maybe? no, it couldnât be. oksun might notâve been the fanciest residential property on the block, but it certainly wasnât so trashy that theyâd let a dead animal rot within the walls. kyungah gives another uncertain sniff, righting herself from the position she holds on her secondhand couch.
and it is with a start that she recognizes the dreadful scent. smoke. upon identifying such a smell, any ordinary adult might alert the fire department.
she, however, is not an ordinary adult. bolting from her seat, kyungah decides the only rightful thing to do is investigate. so she slips out of her apartment, creeping down the hall and sniffing suspiciously at every door she comes across. it is not until she reaches the first floor of the complex and stands before duplex number 105A that she finds the offending vapor.
no smoke seeps from the crack beneath this personâs door, nor do any flames lick their way up the walls. but her nose doesnât lie, and kyungah is sure something is burning within her neighborâs apartment. and so, naturally (finally), the girl bangs a fist harshly against the front door, beating a frantic rhythm into the wood. Â Â Â // @jjxsunhee
Sunhee had been learning a lot about herself lately, and in these past... what? Five months already? She had fallen absolutely in love with Jeju and its people. She had never imagined feeling so free, she had never imagined enjoying life so much now that she didnât have the weight of her familyâs name on her shoulders, now that no one knew how rich her father was, now that no one acted differently just to get something from her. Sunhee loved it, she had never been happier.
And since she was such a happy woman, she felt the need to share the happiness she experienced with everyone around her. She would absolutely love to go around the streets of Jeju throwing confetti to people, she would love to always wear sparkles and shiny outfits, just so she could illuminate everyone around her. Gosh, if someone asked what her spirit animal was she wouldnât doubt before saying a sparkly unicorn.
Of course she couldnât go around looking like a freak, so the only option she had was sharing her happiness through food. She loved cooking, and she loved singing while she mixed all the ingredients. She thought cooking was something that needed to happen naturally, so what if she used more butter than the recipe said? What if the oven was a little too hot for the cookies? What if the apron she was using got on fire when she forgot to turn the oven off? Those were details, and she was sure the cookies would come out great because she was making them with love. And wasnât love what made the world move? Or something?
She heard the knock at the door and she doubted for a second, but nothing would happen to the cookies, right? She was supposed to have them inside the oven for twenty minutes but she was sure a little more wouldnât hurt. How long had she kept them there already? Thirty minutes? One more wouldnât change anything. So opening the door she smiled, getting rid of the flour that was all over her face and hair. âKyungah-yah! Youâre just on time to try my new batch of cookies!â

     @jjxsunheeâ
Pale skin met harsh cold granite ground for barely a split second, but it had been enough for the soft surface to break immediately. He was far from being drunk, as a matter of fact he couldnât quite remember the last time he had been intoxicated enough to lose his own balance. He blamed it on being sleepy, never the one to be actual capable of laying his head down on his own bed and rest for long enough time, there were moments in which the exhaustion was enough to turn him into a child that stumbled upon his own feet again. âAishââ Jaesung stopped himself from cursing and got up as fast as he could, patting his hand against only to be met with a burning sensation.
The young man would have never expected to see her then. She never looked lost, but she surely didnât look aware of her surroundings either, and there was something about the way she always had the expression of someone that had just found out a new and exciting fact that never failed to amuse him. âOh, if it isnât my favorite person.â There was a sly smile on his lips at the very second he laid his eyes upon her up until he walked the few steps to get closer and claim a bit of her attention. âSunhee noona, you wouldnât happen to have one of those Looney Tunes band-aids with you right now, would you?â
Sunhee was not sure where she was going but it was incredible to have the freedom not to care about her destination. She was not scared of being by her own, she was enjoying her own company and enjoying even more the city that had given her so much in such a little time. It was incredible how liberating her life was, and how much she was learning about herself thanks to the wonderful people that she met. She was being her own person, she was saying whatever was in her mind, she was not worried about appearances and money anymore, and it was the most incredible situation she had ever been.
A smile appeared on her face when she heard his friendâs voice, a giggle was added when he said she was his favorite person. âAh, I love it when you call me like that. Is that how my name is saved on your phone? Favorite person?â She joked, laughing slightly since she believed she was such an entertaining person. Her smile stopped when he kept talking, her smile being replaced by concern. âAigoo, what do you need it for? Of course I have band-aids, but these are of Pokemons. Iâll give you a Charizard since you remind me of one, but tell your noona whatâs wrong?â

there is no reason for her to steal anotherâs freedom. her envy aside, sunhee is living the life she wishes. a luxury hardly afforded to those in their tier. from birth everything laid out, a plan in place for each to embody some ideals that their parents wish. free agents only for the sake of words, but in reality everything is molded. it is a different kind of prison, a different kind of pain. not the one that burns the stomach out of hunger. the one that burns the mind out of helplessness. this unnie broke out of those shackles. it is her success.Â
âit is very nice.â her parents would never settle for anything less after all. every part of their life reflects the high society they hail from. how can their home be anything but fancy, anything but extravagant. to utter such a statement is blasphemy in its own right. corners of her lips curve and she nods. âof course. we perform all the time. iâll definitely let you know the next time we will.â there is never anyone that has bothered to come to a performance particularly for her sake. had it not been in the charity gala they attended, her parents to this day would have never seen their daughterâs dance. âhow is your work? what are you doing there?âÂ
Sunhee really liked having a reminder of her old life, the one she had willingly gave up when she decided to move out. Sometimes she would wish to go back, she would think of her father and miss him terribly, sometimes she would simply hate not having enough money and would want to go back to her credit card, to her shopping trips, to her luxurious life. But she was better off this way, she reminded her, she was making her own choices, she had her own freedom, something she could never experience back in Seoul.
âAwesome! I am a terrible dancer but I live seeing people move with so much elegance, whatever style people dance, itâs like music just flows through their bodies. I wish I could be the sameâ She confessed, although dancing had never been a goal for her it was something she would like to try. âI am working as a producer for the news channel. Itâs nothing as fancy as SBS but itâs fun. The news are more focused in Jeju and itâs nice to get to know new peopleâ

Sangmi couldnât help the bark of laughter that came from Sunheeâs suggestion. âI love it!â Nodding conspiratorially, they brought a finger to their lips, âYour secret is safe with me.â Regardless of what it was, Sangmi was sure theyâd enjoy the mystery she had brought them.Â
Blowing on it gently, they took a tentative sip, hoping that it wasnât too hot. âI think thereâs caramel in mineâŚitâs still good though. Whatâs yours taste like?â Taking another sip, they listened to the onslaught of questions Sunhee had, eyes growing wide. It was another moment before they answered, thinking about it. âIâve been doing well enough. Workâs been busy but not crazy enough for me to get sick again. Nothing as crazy like a few months ago at least.â Chuckling quietly, they shook their head, âNo, nothing as intense as you telling me no. Weâve had a few people say no after the fact though.â
Sunhee tried her cup of coffee, taking some time to get the right taste of everything on it âI taste cream, and... something bitter? Or sweet? Maybe itâs too much sugar? Iâm terrible at this, you know? I canât differentiate a fancy dinner from a cheap one, I donât think I have the ability to distinguish flavors, I just think everything is kind of good?â She asked offering her cup so they could try it and tell her what it was on.
âOh thatâs good to know, you should always take care of your health, you know? I hate going to the doctor so I think I should have some vitamins but they are too expensive and thatâs why Iâve been eating a bunch of oranges because of vitamin C, or was it D? I can never remember those thingsâ She rambled, unsure of why she was even speaking of this now. âThey say no after getting the tattoo? Ah people should think twice before doing something permanent!â

jjxdasom:
The girl didnât hesitate in placing the tattoo on her skin, using the water that Dasom gave back to her to trespass the tattoo from the paper to her skin. She seemed to be focused on her task, rubbing the surface of the paper slightly to make sure that they wouldnât lose a part of the tattoo. Dasom was watching the little girl doing her job in this deal. Her thoughts went somewhere else for a moment, thinking of a way to get rid of the tattoo as soon as she would get home. Not that the woman didnât enjoy tattoos because she did and maybe in the future, she would consider having a real one, even if chances were that none of her parents were going to be very happy with this. Whatever. Because what really mattered here was that she didnât want to have anything that would easily identify her. Dasom was planning to use one of her con works later and the tattoo obviously couldnât be on her skin when this happen. It wasnât a risk that she wasnât willing to take, because even if it was covered with a jacket or a sweater with long sleeves, it would still be a risk. What if someone rolled up her sleeve accidently or something? Dasom wasnât someone who enjoyed to take risk, even if they were really small and because of this, she would have to think carefully of ways to get rid of the tattoo as soon as she arrived home. âDone!â The girl exclaimed as she successfully brought her back into the moment, looking down at the womanâs wrist. Her lips curved into a smile when Dasom saw the tattoo. âAh it looks nice.â She easily lied.
Sunhee smiled at the little one when she was done, moving her arm side to side so she could show the results, realizing how odd this all situation had been but glad to know she had made a kid happy. It was easy to make them smile, and getting a temporal tattoo was such a silly thing she couldnât have said no without feeling like the most terrible woman on earth. âIt does look nice, thank you so muchâ She thanked the little one, somehow turning the sides and telling her how grateful she was even when it hadnât been her idea and when the kid should be thanking her instead. But she was not keeping count anyways.
âAlright, if we are done here, I should goâ She told her with a smile, looking at both women. âNext time you ask a stranger to get a tattoo maybe have a little more options, I like flowers tattoos betterâ She told her in a conspiracy whisper, winking at her. âHave a good night you twoâ

jjxhwijae:
Hwijae remains intrigued with her motions, and he waits just as she directs him to do. The sneezing stops and then it starts again when she goes back near the flower. âOr maybe your body hates the poor flower.â He says without really thinking about the whole customer service aspect. It is his own fault for being far too invested in this line of work. Some weird sort of flower enthusiast. Though it is hardly fair for the flower to take the blame when it was possible that it was her particular body that was reacting poorly to the flower. âMaybe itâs best that I just separate the both of you.â He says with humor, agreeing that it was best for her to keep distance when she approached the counter.Â
âIâm actually the one in charge. That is one of our nicest flowers. She usually is very sweet. Maybe you just caught her on an off day. You should try again another day and maybe her mood will be better.â He says, easily engaging in the conversation that she started about schooling the flowers since it is on a wavelength that he understands. The one of talking without making much sense which Hwijae is all too guilty of doing all too often. Anyways, his focus goes back to what she is asking him which is flowers to take to a friends house.Â
âAh that depends.â He says, a wide smile because he can imagine or at least he can hope that her words come with a wonderful story that she will tell him. âWhy might you be kicked out?â Maybe it is simply for showing up announced but the gossip monger in him wishes that it is something more interesting. Maybe something more juicy that he can really create a very customized bouquet for. Otherwise itâs fine too, but it would just be more entertaining if it was something bad.Â
That was an option she hadnât considered, and one that made her have at least ten more questions. âWhy would my body hate a flower? She hadnât done anything to me, but ah, I see, this is like a psychology test, I immediately blamed the flower without considering it could be me the one at fault, and now I feel absolutely terrible and guilty for you pointing it out. I wonder if this is a nice thing to do with a customer, or if maybe again Iâm blaming someone else for something that is my own personal responsibilityâ This was something she should analyze, and she was not happy because it was either the flowerâs fault or hers, and well, who liked to admit that they were wrong?
He continued speaking and somehow calmed her, so she nodded. âYes, yes, itâs her odd day, not mine, yes, but donât be too hard on her, maybe itâs me too, you should always consider both sidesâ She reminded him, feeling almost like a teacher now defending her student, even when she was the one to accuse it first. âThank you, be nice, donât send its parents a note, itâs not really a big dealâ She added just to be in peace.
âBecause I have the tendency to make myself invited when they didnât really ask me to be there? I would be unannounced and they might be busy so maybe if I bring the most beautiful flowers they wonât mind if I hang around? I donât like being aloneâ She explained, unsure why she was even sharing so much but it seemed like his mind worked a lot like hers and that made her just comfortable enough to ramble.

jjxsangmi:
It wasnât a surprise that Sangmi was out again. They rarely spent time in their own home, not when there was an opportunity to spend it with a friend. It was wasteful, in a way, to leave such a nice apartment so bare and empty and they realized that. At the same time, it was easier to simply ignore it too.
At Sunheeâs exclamation, Sangmi looked up, grinning at her words. âYeah? Whatâs awesome,â Sangmi told her, grin coming easily to their face. Staring at her coffee, they asked, âWhatâd you get? A mocha right? I mean, Iâll drink any coffee but mochaâs my favorite.â
Really, it didnât matter to them, Sangmi would drink anything in front of them as long it was caffinated and hot. Work had been long the night before and, after they had gone out for drinks with their coworkers until the morning. Stifling a yawn, they reached for the coffee, âIâm sure itâs fine as it is.â
Sunhee looked down at the cups, trying to remember exactly what she had ordered. She had a very bad memory so she had just pointed out to the pictures behind the barista when she ordered. âAh letâs make this fun! You can try it and tell me what I ordered and if you like it you can drink itâ She said with a giggle, admitting without really doing it that she had no idea what she got for them. âI just pointed at the imagesâ She whispered as a confession, smiling at her friend.
âI hope you like itâ She told her with honesty, glad to be sitting without having caused a mess as she approached the table. She always had accidents so it wouldnât have been a surprise if she ended up causing some sort of coffee accident. âHow have you been? Howâs work? Have you gotten cowards like me who claim to want a tattoo but are too much of a baby to actually get one?â
