Cricket looks so cute! I like all the black on her, and the way her tail is that little fork thing!

-when she was first introduced I misread and thought she was all black for ages. And I was like woah! Fun throw to clearsight being a nightwing huh?

-the above was believeable since where I live we get huge black grasshoppers (everyone calls them crickets) in the summer

-her design is heavily based off those grasshopper fellas. But not entirely!

I'm not the biggest fan of her design personally, so I put it off for ages. The only reason it got done now instead of way later is because one of my friends suggested finishing the dod designs lol

Fun fact, she's based off tsunamis themselves, and her white markings are based off water caustics! They're her glow markings as well :)

SCAVENGERS AS LIL BEASTS YEAHHHH!

When I first read book 1 I imagined them as like...little kobold like guys? Their description just pictured so weirdly in my mind but up until later in arc 1 I thought they were little lizard kinda fellas.

While I'm a-ok with human scavengers, I figured I'd have some fun with what I originally imagined! Just be silly!

Thank you!! Their manes are definitely fluffy and thick, but they actually have the most facial spikes of any tribe. Lots of pseudo-horns grow all over their faces!!
