Okay I’ve been posting too much anout school bus graveyard it’s time for me to rant about Caraval (I have no friends who have read it)

I really hate how Caraval is just basically an introduction to the Caraval, I know it’s book 1 but it honestly feels like Stephanie Garber wrote it just for the sake of giving my sweet girl Scarlett Dragna something. I hated how she wrote scarlett always thinking about tella. Stephanie made her look so dumb, I bet if she was told to scrap scarlett off, she wouldn’t hesitate doing so. It made furious realizing that it was basically all a set up, like wtf was everything really for?! I mean I get lessons have to be learned but I really don’t get why Scarlett had to go through all that. Don’t tell me “well it’s part of the game, the deal, she had to learn…” oh bullshit. They treated my girl scarlett like a fucking guinea pig. I’m gonna keep repeating myself cuz it really did look like Stephanie write it just for the sake of giving scarlett a story, I fucking hated how in legendary, tella kept saying that scarlett just wanted to be trapped or safe in a palace, while she wanted adventure. Like she kept belittling scarlett. I feel like Stephanie kept pushing into our faces that scarlett is the boring, dumb, killjoy sister and tella is the beautiful, reckless, and brave sister. They’re 1 year apart 😭😭😭.

Sometimes, I wonder what SBG would be like if it were set when the six were in college?

Taylor and Ashlyn meeting because they're roommates, and Taylor being excited to meet a new friend whilst Ashlyn is keeping to herself and listening to music all the time.

Aiden coming to meet Ben after a lecture and meeting Logan (and freaking him out).

The Sorrell Weed House trip being for a history credit they need and it being the easiest and quickest way to get it.

The Crane people (I forgot their name) being a mix of students and teachers like some sort of college cult.

Tyler already having a scholarship and finding it harder and harder to keep it with the lack of sleep he's getting.

Aiden not actually going to school but having to find excuses to stay around the campus so he and the group can plan and strategize.

Ben spending hours searching in the library or scouring the internet for answers as to what's going on.

Ben's bullies haze him and him having to watch logan and so many other new students go through it before he flips his shit.

The crew being so done with the phantoms in the middle of finals week they spend the whole night studying whilst in the phantom realm.

Rumours going around that they're drug addicts and that's why they all look tired.

I'm glad Red set it in high-school years but sometimes I wonder how it would change the plot

YES YES YES IT WOULD REALLY BE INTERESTING!!! I'm actually in college rn so I would very much relate...especially with Tyler having a scholarship since I'm a scholarship student myself and I really try my best to keep my grades up.

High School and College are still very different stages in life so I would love to see the group as college students!

Okay AGAIN…School Bus Graveyard isn’t the only thing that’s going on in Red’s life right now. I think it’s valid to be frustrated cuz of the chapters kept getting pushed back, but it is certainly not right to put pressure on red and treat her as if our lives depended on her comic. She doesn’t owe us to spill every detail of her life or what’s currently going on in her life. I know we are a very passionate fandom but let’s not be the kind to demand things from the creator and make her feel worse. School Bus Graveyard will return eventually, we just need to give red more time.

If this happens then it’ll actually be an interesting end for the webtoon. I’m not saying that there aren’t any webtoons where the main character ends up sacrificing themselves but it could definitely open a door for sequel. And before anyone says “well don’t put more pressure on red…”, I’M NOT, I’m just simply saying that if it does end that way then, it would be interesting and could open a door for a sequel. I love a tragic ending.

Imagine sbg ending with ashlyn sacrificing herself and closing the rift, trapping her inside so her friends can be free

School Bus Graveyard Head Canon: Ben and Taylor

Besides texting, they have their own shared journal of their conversations. When Ben writes something, Taylor writes her reply after, vise versa. Sometimes they would take turns bringing the journal home and just pour their heart out writing in it, and they would read them afterwards. Ben would also include songs he wrote about Taylor, and Taylor would ask who those songs are about but Ben still has to muster up the courage to tell Taylor it’s about her. Also, there would be times when lily doodles a bit on Ben’s pages and it always makes Taylor giggle.
