Whoah an eclipse!
Taken in Pennsylvania, many miles from Erie. I shot this at 5 stops below my meter reading. There is very little post processing.

If you look closely you can see it peaking though.

I love the idea of rogue art.
This tree near our home was cut down some years ago. With just 10ft or so left of the trunk. Someone for whatever reason added this beauty to an otherwise sad sight. Bravo!

My thoughts on the FujiFilm X100v
The FujiFilm X100V is a compact, high-performance camera for a niche audience. That in recent years has gotten so popular its hard to get. As per usual you can blame Instagram and TikTok....
Pros
Image Quality
Delivers impressive image quality thanks to its 26.1-megapixel APS-C sensor and renowned Fujifilm color science, capturing rich colors and fine details.
Compact Design
Portable and lightweight, making it an excellent choice for travel and everyday use without compromising on image quality. Though, I wish it was smaller. My dream Fuji would fit in a small pocket with ease.
Versatility, if its the only camera i could own, I'd pick it.
Fixed 23mm f/2 lens provides sharp and versatile performance for street, portrait, and everyday photography. Additionally, it's compatible with conversion lenses for added flexibility. I've found this lens a significant gain over the X100F.
Cons
Fixed Lens, its all you get.
While the 23mm lens is versatile, it's fixed, limiting the ability to zoom in or out. However, this primes users to get creative with composition.
Battery Life
The camera's battery life might be a concern for heavy users, requiring extra batteries for extended shooting sessions.
Price & Availability
Its hard to find at is MRSP of $1,399.99, but it can still be found. Be wary of any new sold on ebay or similar websites as it could be a gray market camera.
With the new X100R right around the corner it seems like its best to wait. I'd look locally as I have seen them listed at what i would considerable a reasonable price, but you'll have to wait.
Recommendation
The FujiFilm X100V stands out as a compact and powerful camera, perfect for photographers seeking exceptional image quality in a portable package. Its excellent image output, compact design, and versatile lens make it a strong choice for enthusiasts and professionals alike.
However, the fixed lens and potential battery limitations might be considerations for those requiring more flexibility or extended shooting sessions without easy access to recharging.
For photographers valuing portability, outstanding image quality, and a versatile fixed lens, the FujiFilm X100V is a reliable and formidable choice that delivers top-notch results.
To me the X100V is the minimum X100 series, I've owned the T & F, and the V was such a large improvement. It was the first time I could see myself only owning this camera.
