Heyyy please could you explain what you meant by being upset about people binge watching your fics and not rebloging or commenting because I also post fics and truly want to know the problem. I'm not doubting you or anything but would like to see the issue since it happens to me sometimes and idk how to feel about it. PS this isn't hate I'm genuinely curious 💕

Sure! I am one of many writers who are super frustrated by serial liking, which is when readers binge read a bunch of your stories and do nothing but like them instead of commenting or reblogging, yanno, actual engagement. So a lot of us have started to block serial likers.

Personally, I do it because I find it insulting when folks constantly passively consume my work that I put a lot of time and effort into. By blocking these serial likers, I am setting a boundary because I am not okay with this kind of behavior and I don’t want it in my space. I am here for community and interaction, not to be a free content mill, and with engagement being at an all time low, I am trying my best to preserve my joy for this platform, which is hanging on by a thread these days tbh.

One of my favorite things about Crosshair is that while he is a silent caretaker and a protector he is first and foremost a hater. He is ALWAYS willing to provoke people that even mildly activate his guard dog senses and he is also the first one to call his people on their bullshit. Almost every gif we have of him really truly smiling he is actively antagonizing, making fun of his family, or chuckling because his family got his ass back and I think thats beautiful. More hater - protector dichotomies need to be portrayed in media.
