Sometimes I get so tired of the almond moms of media consumption. I get that not all pieces of media are created equal: that is an objective fact. Some of it is pure garbage. But garbage can still be entertaining garbage. Not everything you consume has to be a perfectly constructed story, not every plot has to be neatly tied up. Media can be flawed, media can be silly and stupid, and you can still enjoy it.

Criticism has its place. Analysis does too. And some pieces of content will be beautifully constructed… but some of them will be beautiful disasters, or even beautifully mediocre, or simply beautifully fun. The main point is that it all has beauty in it. Even the ugly. If it inspires creativity, or entertainment, or feeling, and it isn’t hurting anybody, then it is a GOOD ENOUGH piece of media.

So shut up. Everybody is allowed to scarf down trash media. Everybody is allowed to have fun. In fact, I encourage it.

Life is too short to worry about plot holes, or perfect characters, or anything like that. Not everything is perfect, and striving for it 24/7 must be agonizing.

Junk food, too, is part of a balanced diet. Eat your Doritos, consume mediocre media.

Yep that’s me! I do post other works but here’s the thing… most of them are shit lmao 🫠 I write REALLY slowly and so I don’t have many recent works I’m proud of, never mind any I’m working on super actively lol. Most of my works aren’t in DSMP either so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyways I do have one recent work, though,

It’s incomplete and like, I haven’t worked on it in a while but I’m prolly gonna continue it. I’m not SUPER happy with the writing, but like, it’s not awful. I wrote it after Do You Know Name of Your Heart (I really gotta shorten my titles lmao) so it’s not awful, just not my best work. Then again, I was going for a blunter tone lmao

Anyways, there are a few others, but none anonymous or in DSMP. The ones Ive written (that I like) are in Bleach and Naruto (but warring states period focus). If you’re into that, I can DM them :))

Awww that’s so sweet! I wish you luck in your whittling endeavors o7 Yes, I do plan to post at least chapter 9. I’m like 20k words into it but haven’t worked on it in a while (clearly, lol) I got caught up in other projects and had to write through cannon scenes which is boring as all heck. However, after chapter 9 I’m not sure if I’ll keep updating, I’ll see how I feel. AOT is a LONG series that I don’t think I’ll have the time or energy to write completely through, and like I said, I’ve taken up other projects :(

I feel sorry about letting my readers down, but Titanomachy is a big series that has taken a lot of time and heart to write. Especially with school, I don’t think I’ll be able to keep writing it.

That said, I’m super glad for all the support I’ve received over the time I’ve been writing it, and I’ve genuinely loved creating the fic too. Chapter 9 is coming, it’s just been hard for me to get through.

Thank you for all the patience, kind words, and support you’ve given me. I’m glad to have inspired everyone who comments, draws, and now, carves for this fic (which, by the way, is fucking rad)
