i'm seeing people losing hope for palestine i'm begging you seriously please don't. the death toll is high but there are still people alive, there are still journalists risking everything to make sure the world sees what is happening. please continue protesting if you have the option to, keep demanding for a ceasefire and keep talking about palestinians both alive and dead. you have to keep going until the very end or else you really did fail them.

do people just not know how boycotting works. or how rallying together to make a difference works. what other examples can I use to make it make sense. okay pretend that someone is fund-raising, and their goal is to make $1000. you may think "man I can only afford to donate $1, and thats such a small amount and it wont make any difference at all, so why bother."

that might be true! $1 isnt a lot of money, and there is very little you can do with $1!! okay, so now pretend that one hundred people who see that post think the exact same thing. "Why bother contributing when what I do makes no difference?" and so none of them contribute that single dollar.

If they all decided "It may not be much, but I can contribute what I can" then suddenly that fundraiser has been given $100. Thats a significant amount of money, and much more than $1!!

do you fucking understand. why is everyone so fucking defeatist. "There is nothing I can do as an individual to make a difference" no one is asking you to single handedly stop wars. People are asking COMMUNITIES to come together to make a difference. Chose to be apart of that community.

Apes together strong. Lets break into Area 51, they cant stop all of us. Whatever fucking slogan that works for you

I love when a disgusting politician dies. But I especially love it that when a disgusting politician dies everyone comes together like a community to inform and tell tales to the younguns and uninformed specifically why that politician died with hatred, mockery and contempt. Like townsfolk telling their children of the legendary werewolves that come down from their mountain groves to feast on their flesh until a valiant knight called Death, their savior reaped the werewolves’ souls to and leave the town a more peaceful and happier place.

All those posts that are like "your life doesn't really start til your 30s-40s-50s" are wonderful and important but they make me sad so. Positivity post for anyone who's not going to get there.

People who have been told they won't make it til their 20s, 30s, 40s, whenever. Another month, another year, another five years, another ten or twenty. People who have known since they were little, people who just found out. People who are getting worse faster or slower. People who are in treatments that might help, but cause so much other damage. People who treatment didn't work for people who can't afford treatment. People who are medically fragile and people who are housebound and people who are bedbound. People who are losing their independence and people who have never had it. People who never know which infection, which flare-up, which episode is going to be the last one. People who are in hospice, people who have planned their funerals and written their wills and got their DNR in order. People who have tried everything they can and people who are making themselves worse and people who are being neglected by doctors and caregivers. People with genetic diseases that have taken family members already. Cheers 🧃🧃

Spotify wrapped is normally released on a November 30 or December 1 but this year it was released on November 29, the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People- a day which it was asked for people to increase their social media posts about Palestine to help call for a permanent ceasefire. Instead it is now being overshadowed by people posting about Spotify wrapped…

the fact that palestinians in the west bank (INCLUDING children) continue to be detained at a rate equal to (and surpassing if you include hostages taken in gaza such as mos'ab abu toha) those who are freed while all released detainees have spoken of deteriorating conditions in israeli prisons since oct 7th, with multiple prisoners being beaten to death, the rest crammed into cells, fed smaller rations, exposed to the elements and other abuses

and yet the entire world will focus on the israeli hostages because every opponent of armed resistance has not yet figured out the answer to "the eyes of the world turn to us only when we commit violence, not when violence is committed against us"
