I am not born to be pretty. even if you find me physically repulsive, it is my right to be so. if you find me so pitiful to look at, then look away from me. it isn't my job to be attractive. it's my purpose in life to find joy and fulfilment within myself. you don't have to find me attractive. i won't try to force you to. but by the same hand, I have the right to be unattractive to you, and that does not impact the value i have as a human being.

I had my beit din today which means: I’m officially and legally Jewish! I went for my dunk in the Mikvah, turns out we were using the beach as the ritual bath. It was super exciting. It was such a profound experience to dunk and pray in the ocean and come out changed.
