Having most of the panels of lu memorized as I do, I immediately zeroed in on the smirk Twilight did in the most recent update, because I knew I’d seen something like it before.

And sure enough...

Shoot the eye!

I just pulled out a spring and jumped in the air to shoot at them until they were dead

I think it's sort of funny

When I learned about Gloom Hands, it was on tumblr, because I hadn't played TotK yet

But when I DID start playing, i remember I was seeking out shrines to complete and ran into my first gloom hand up at that one shrine that's floating just above the ground, where you have to climb a root to get up to it. And up over the hill, i saw this black and purple blob moving. Moving towards me

And my first instinct was to climb, climb high, and hope it couldn't get me up there.

It couldn't. I didn't even have to fight my first gloom hand, it just....evaporated out of frustration of not being able to grab me

and I sat up there for a while, thinking it was a trick and the thing would come back. And I sat and waited until i decided to risk it, dropping down and grabbing the weird new thing, but then hurrying back up to my hiding spot

Because people talked about the hands, not what they dropped, or that they disappear after a minute if they can't shake you like a doll.

And I don't think I ever actually got caught by the hands until I did the Deku Tree quest, where I honestly was so running out of ideas because sitting on a ledge and bombing them from above was getting me nowhere, so I willingly jumped in with them hoping it would make a difference (spoilers: it did not)

#gets em every time #tbf this is how I fought all my boss fights. gabodonk was defeated by a boy bouncing off a spring shooting electric jello at him #I love the springs #I also did this for phantom ganon too. pull out a spring and boing! and repeat #it worked on the whole demon kings army also. I just really love the springs ok #^^^Oh!! and the art photo is by Jojo -@linkeduniverse #totk #I hope you don't mind I really liked your post and wanted to reblog #I love defeating the gloom hands because shooting the eye makes me feel like legend would be proud :P

So Dawn pt. 9 's dialogue between Twilight and Four

It mirrors past conversations, and shows more about their really super awesome relationship

Four is able to tell when Twi's got stuff on his mind

And Four is the one he'll honestly open up to

Twilight repeats some phrases: "I've got a lot to figure out", and "There's a lot I need to figure out".

^I will always love Four's "hmm" there. Twi admitted he was stressed, and Four stops and considers how he can help

And he offers advice if needed

And helps Twi come to a positive mindset

Twilight is not the only one in this. We have a billion (<almost) examples of Four being the one to instantly notice and ask if somethings wrong. But Four's one of the quieter ones in the group- he hasn't been noticed much for it except with Twi. And that what makes this special- he notices with Twi, Twi actually opens up and allows Four to help him.
