Instead of Monopoly money they have to use coins

Instead of community chest it would be Headline board

If you land on go to jail it would be called Get sent to the refuge by snyder

Free parking space would be changed to Get away from the bulls

Just visiting will be changed to Helping escape the refuge and if you choose to help someone escape you would have to either role doubles or pay 60 cents to get them out of the refuge.

Also one of the fun cards would be called "Startin a strike" you would have to throw the coins in the air from the bank and try to get more money

Some of the properties would be,

Santa fe

(Basically all of the places in New York that had newsies)

And medda's theater

And more places from the movie

Also if you claim santa fe using the cowboy hat you get an extra 60 cents.

There will be a couple spts on the board where you get into trouble with the dalanceys. You have to pick one other person to roll one dice and if you roll higher then them your safe but if they roll higher then you you loose 50 cents. But if you get a tie you both pay 25.

If you loose it's not bankruptcy... It's loosin' the strike

Also whoever wins the game is "The King of new york"

he doesn't have a family. he's made his peace with that fact. but davey does and davey asked if he wanted to meet them. he said yes, because he's a good boyfriend. he liked davey's family. a lot. his sister was funny, kind, and told him lots of embarrassing stories. his brother loved star wars just as much as jack did. his ma was a great cook and beyond welcoming. his da had a laugh like an earthquake and brought out a laugh just like it in jack.

but he was just there for davey. he liked them and they liked him but he was just there as davey's boyfriend, he wasn't there because they liked him. he never was when they went to his place.

he was davey's boyfriend and was always a guest in their house, less a part of the family. which he wasn't. he knew that.

he was just there for davey.

until it started being him helping les with homework at the kitchen table or swinging around lightsabers with him. until esther started asking him for help setting the table or taking him with her while she ran errands.

he modeled for sarah's picture portfolio when she told him to and laughed with her when they went driving in the mall parking lot at one in the morning. he helps mayer build new furniture for the house and watches all the tv shows mayer showed davey, who never liked them.

he's not just there for davey anymore.

he's there because he loves davey but he's also there because he's family.

jack smiles.

Hello Newsies of Tumblr! If you already know about the Newsies Halloween 2024 event. @blinkinbrothershark is the offical writer for the newspaper articles, and I ( @scottyzoomz ) is the official designer for the newspapers. It's just the two of us for now. I know it's almost May and end of the year tests are coming up and it sucks. We need some assistance on the designs, writing, etc. It's just the two of us for now, but any sort of assistance may come in handy, the more people the better.
