just like. fucking ruminating in the implication of that moment in the zane interview from 2022 where he asks alex if he still plays guitar much nowadays and alex answers facetiously "yeah almost every night now" which zane takes earnestly as a genuine sweet answer (and i did too, honestly, the first time i saw it, just picturing him sitting at home strutting away at the acoustic guitar) but then he's like "no no i meant like. in front of people" bc oof what a fucking insane way to phrase that. he didn't say "now that we're on tour" or "you know, since we've been doing shows." he doesn’t even say "i've been playing FOR people." the first thing that fucking pops in his head to explain his thought is that he's been playing IN FRONT of people. like putting himself out there, being watched. having to perform and be perceived. i am here doing my thing, put in this position to be seen by the people there looking at me doing my thing

i am a big believer in letting music (and other media) come to you when you're ready for it. you may only know vaguely of an acclaimed beloved artist and suspect that you'd be into them but just... not ever get around to it. and then in 15 years one of their songs just hits you the right way and what a gift to suddenly have all of their works to explore! there is no hurry; what is good is always good.

2. I was!! In May in Paris'23, and that was a blust indeed. I'll never forget this experience. I don’t know why, but I decided to pick this blurry photo of him that reminds me of this beautiful show and somehow represents the whole era at some point

7. I'm a fan since october'22, like a real fan. But I've been listening to AM since 2015, I haven't known a lot about them back when I was little, but still knew about their existence. And once I randomly watched the WDYOCWYH clip on YouTube, then their live performance in some studio in 2013 and fell in love immediately. I lost so many years ahhahaha, I was able to visit their concert in 2018 already, but happened to figure out who they really are only two years ago. Not complaining at all though!

Can someone reveal the secret of the universe what happened after Alex tore his pants during one of tlsp shows right on stage in the studio? I was so cringe I couldn't watch it till the end ahahahahah
