I have to recommend two Dracfield fics that are not done by the authors but i would like to share them with you they are wonderful,

"In Time" by Goblintales" I think the author of this fic has left AO3 due to work. but that Ffc for only two chapters written its really good!

"Under your Skin By kindred' a Alphaomega Dracfield fic. this one is awesome, the chapters written so far and its soo GOOD!

I have to say thank you for you comments on my site and your encouragement for me to start writing on AO3, If it was not for you i would still be a stuck puppy in a puddle!

Teaching a Old Dog New Tricks, Rule 63, and Dogs Familiar! are you truly planning on continuing these?

I do hope so, if only it where easy to manage life with writing fanfics it would be easier!

I love Picasso Dracula, you know we never got to see what the count looks like if he were OLD!

Renfield anniversary week, day 1: Past

I think a lot about the person that Renfield was before Dracula- how he lived, and what he valued. I think a big part of that is his daughter, and she's also part of why he was an easy mark. I see Lilly as the light of his life, and consequently, a very easy string to pull.

I tried to make this look like a photograph. In the late 1920s, cameras were just portable enough to make amature photography a thing. It's also heavily based on a photograph, the 20th Century Madonna, which was probably intended to be satirical, but i love anyway.

Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette is a given. Ditto the Renfield. Definitely also older than they look, but maybe fitting more with the definition of the ageless? Most certainly the woobie, and conditioned to accept horror. Has a trademark Power-up food. Gets Gutted Like a Fish (twice!). Has a Significant Wardrobe Shift away from his Frozen Fashion Sense at the start of his Heal the Cutie arc. What else?

So what I need is this

I need an AU where Dracula is a terrifying mob boss, and Renfield is the newest hired killer. Renfield only took the job because he owed the mob a favor and he's trying to protect his family, and now he's in too deep to refuse. He is both petrified of and strangely attracted to Dracula, and he becomes Dracula's favorite new employee to torment and blackmail. And the deeper Renfield sinks into the life of a killer, the more guilty his conscience becomes and the more he feels like his soul is unsalvageable, which makes him easier for Dracula to manipulate. After a while he's hardly ever allowed to go back and see his family. Dracula wants him by his side, arm candy (and lethal insurance) for the big meetings. Expensive trips to casinos and resorts to carry out hits and negotiate territory. Too-strong cocktails and designer suits and sleazy clubs and concealed weapons. And of course, Renfield tending to Dracula's every need. After all, it would be terrible if something were to happen to his wife and daughter, wouldn't it?
