fics that are like 500 to 1200 words or so often have a particular kind of energy to me - like the author sat bolt upright in bed, struck by the most brilliant inspiration of their entire lives, and then typed as fast as their fingers would allow them to in order to capture it all before it left.

oneshots that are just a straight, clear shot from the brain to the page with no real filter in between? that's good stuff right there.

oh my god your fic (this) has given me an unnatural amount of brainrot please forgive me for rambling

first off as a devout gooner, the way you've actually managed to convince me of a ship that involves mason mount is an achievement in of itself lol but i see the vision!!

the way mason seems to just not take anything martin says 'seriously' and martin getting increasingly irritated about it is so funny to me lmao i'm eating this dynamic up. also the whole 'locked up in a tower' thing reminds me of rapunzel which suits martin so well?? probably bc they're both blonde... either way the actual dialogue alongside martin's internal dialogue is definitely a highlight when reading this!

i'm also a sucker for tense family relationships especially with how martin seems so pressured to be perfect all the time (both in the fic and irl), it just gives so much more background yk? and you portray it so beautifully so thank you!

i'm so curious as to what 'prince mason’s recent public blunders' are and what mason's planning to do next... but I really love this fic so much and i can't wait for the next chapter!! 💗

i am also a devout gooner BUT mason will always have a very special place in my heart

this pairing actually makes no sense it literally just came to me because of their hair being so princely

YOU GET ME martin feeling pressure to be perfect all the time (and being punished if he isn’t ie. going on loan) it’s just so him… and mason just being loud and annoying instead of dealing with his own stuff

i’m sorry i could ramble about my own fic forever (just this one though)

planning on making a chapter about masons background/ blunders/ family soon… that’s my favorite thing about writing a non linear narrative… i can just write it as it comes to me…
