...My line of thinking began and ended at "sure would be neat to suddenly be zapped into a techno-organic body with lightning powers".
The face of 10,000 lumens is probably more concerning.
The Red star hitting me with a lightning bolt would fix most problems.

Thinking again about how Makuta Teridax tries to present himself as a cosmic horror entity- a primordial force of destruction, uncaring and inevitable, to whom the lives of lesser beings mean nothing.
But in reality, the opposite is true. He’s a maliciously petty little bastard who gets incredibly hung up on holding grudges and making people suffer, often to his own detriment. And that can be it’s own kind of horror on occasions, but also this man is literally too petty to function sometimes. Just… wretched. Absolute disaster villain.

Why does Nightshade come with a pair of giant knives? Who gave them those?
Tumblr media
Someone has probably made the connection between their toy and two knives Moe already but I wanted to draw it myself.

Do you guys think Hafu and Taipu ever just swap masks and pretend to be each other? Like they get fed up with being confused for one another and just roll with it to troll everyone?
Or maybe everyone else is ‘confusing’ them on purpose and it’s all a bit to keep riling them up. It has been 1000 years after all, you’d think they would have learned to tell them apart by now?
Bonus: everyone figures out pretty quickly when Hafu and Taipu have swapped themselves because Po-Wahi is bright and Taipu can’t stop squinting.

in the second to last serial of classic doctor who, the curse of fenric, there are strange pseudo vampires. at one point the doctor explains that - despite the folklore - it’s not the physical crucifix that repels the vampires, it’s the faith of the person holding it, their absolute belief in something more than themselves. the priest present fails to repel the vampires with a crucifix, because his faith had been broken by the events of WWII. the doctor repels the vampires with his faith in those he has had as companions, muttering their names over and over.
i mention all this because - and i am not making this up - it is immediately followed by a soviet man repelling the vampires with the power of belief in communist revolution. they aired this in the 80s.

as the show was then cancelled one story later, it remains the only show to ever be cut down in its prime twenty six seasons in.

Actually no.
I am still mad that Mass effect 2 for as in depth as it was wouldn't let Shepard flirt with the one character whos dialogue gave the absolute most opportunity to do so with, even to my dence arse.
Let her flirt with the ship dang it.
I have beaten the procrastination and finally the Mass effect trillogy, and certainly have some thoughts.
A mix of good ones and comical petty outrage.
All I'll say here and now is that Shep being thrust right back to the last save point before the final mission as if she just had the most detailed premonition of the future tickles me.
