Why do some fanfiction writers love adding in meaningless side characters that were never in the original series and then focusing more time on them then the actual plot.

I just read a x reader fanfic and it was ok till like every other chapter were off to read about some random side character that never interacts with the main plot ever. Then after all that the only time it actually becomes an x reader where the love interest in the plot now was The LAST CHAPTER. Like wtf there were only 12 chapters and we only get to have a good time at the very end. And I know some fanfics like to elongate when the characters finally get together it called slow burn but this wasn’t slow burn it was just frustrating to read. So many times where characters say something so out of character or just straight up illegal but then gets dropped the next chapter like it never happened, this isn’t a one shot it’s a full book but the plot is so shallow and nothing is ever done with it.

It was just frustrating to read and some chapters it looks like that’s what it’s going for but then the next chapter it’s back to fluff, IF YOUR GOING TO ADD ANGST COMIT TO IT.

I just need to get something off my chest.

So there’s this girl in my English class and I thought we were becoming friends because we had so much fun at the musical little shop of horrors ( school trip to see it ). But now she’s always got some sort of gripe with me, like today she said that she was frustrated and it wasn’t my fault but then is rude to me but not my friend. Before that we were just talk about dresses and I said that I got new black pants enthusiast on the new because I have a lot of black pants, I then pointed to my black jeans I was wearing but before I could finish talking she put her hand in my face to tell my to be quiet. Like wtf I was just talking.

Another time she told me I don’t let other people talk when I’m talking and I responded ya I know I’m trying to make sure I can get my point across without getting interrupted, and a few days later she dose the exact same thing, like weren’t you just saying that it’s rude and that I should stop doing it but you get to.

I feel left out when she’s around because she’s constantly telling me I can’t talk or just straight up ignoring me. It makes me feel unimportant like I don’t matter or have anything to add to the conversation.

Does anyone else think she’s a hypocritical bitch

I just wanna gets this out of the way before you read the rest of the post I’m 16 ok

So is it weird that I simp for knives Chau from Scott Pilgrim ( vs the world and takes off ) because she’s so cute in my opinion and I want fan fiction about her, and no not any smut or stuff like that just good old fluff. This is why I said at the beginning I’m 16 because if I was an adult this would be a wired post ,

but then again growing adult simp for children all the time in anime * cough * mha fans * cough * and apparently that’s a OK ( if you couldn’t understand that was supposed to be sarcasm )

Anyway could someone write a cute fluffy fanfic about knives chau with a teen reader because my imagination is limited at the moment * cough * writing three fanfics already and don’t want to add more to my list * cough * if anyone does thx you
