when they lose a game...

[tsukishima, bokuto, suga, lev]:

he stays silent the whole way home, never so much as uttering a word or cry, until he steps inside his bedroom. his eyes seem permanently wide open, and his lips quiver. then, as the bottled up feelings become too much, he breaks down into loud, angry sobs, collapsing to his knees.

[hinata, tanaka, aone, yamamoto]:

he cries silent tears as he stands on the court, staring down at the floor in a nearly catatonic state. he refuses to leave the gym, he won't let the reality of the loss sink in. when he does finally leave, it's because the gym is closed. when he gets home, he spends the rest of the night staring at the wall until he falls asleep, with thoughts of the loss raging in his mind.

[nishinoya, asahi, yamaguchi]:

the crier that needs physical support immediately, from a friend or family member. instead of pushing people he loves away, he walks to them silently, waiting for them to reach out for him, then finally breaks down once he feels the contact.

[oikawa, daichi, kuroo, tendou]:

he tries to be mature about it, but can't help but let it get to his head. he feels so inferior, unworthy. while he wears a mask to comfort his teammates, his mind has been riddled with insecurities, but he can't let them see, he can't let anyone see.

[kageyama, kyotani]:

the stoic, but angry one that pushes everyone away, letting no one see what is going on in his mind. he ends up lashing out at one of his teammates, or family members before he goes home. he spends the rest of the night regretting lashing out at the people he loves, who were just trying to support him. now he wishes he didn't push them away, because he really needs support right now.

[kenma, akaashi, iwaizumi]:

the one that didn't see it coming, but also isn't too disappointed by the loss. it's not that he doesn't care at all, its just not the end of the world to him. but it hurts to see his teammates crying. he takes on the role of comforting them by taking them out to dinner. he is the only one who is composed enough to give the others what they need to cheer up.
