A couple of days ago we made it to Bourke. The Darling River is flooding with the peak still to come so we couldn't head across to Lightning Ridge as planned due to road closures. It also means there are millions of mozzies loving life right now. We did see lots of red tailed black cockatoos which represent death, leading to rebirth and change.
