“the way in which counter-culture can subvert the classic hero’s journey”
(may become “the way in which counter-culture can explore the classic hero’s journey”) subversion may not be what i am looking for
Counter culture: a way of life and set of attitudes opposed to or at variance with the prevailing social norm.
Hero’s Journey: the common template of a broad category of tales that involve a hero who goes on an adventure, and in a decisive crisis wins a victory, and then comes home changed or transformed.
