Famous Last Words of Death Row Inmates
1. John Spenkelink - Sentenced to death by electric chair after murdering small-time criminal Joseph Szymankiewicz. His last words were: “Capital punishment: them without capital get the punishment.”
2. Robert Alton Harris - Sentenced to death by gas chamber after murdering two teenaged boys. His last words were: “You can be a king or a street sweeper, but everyone dances with the Grim Reaper.”
3. Thomas J. Grasso - Sentenced to death by lethal injection after murdering an 87-year-old woman with her own Christmas lights, then an 81-year-old man. His last words were: “I did not get my SpaghettiOs, I got spaghetti. I want the press to know this.”
4. Robert Keith Coleman - Sentenced to death by electric chair after murdering his sister-in-law. His last words were: “An innocent man is going to be murdered tonight. When my innocence is proven, I hope Americans will realize the injustice of the death penalty as all other civilized countries have.”

6. Aileen Wuornos - Sentenced to death by lethal injection after murdering six men. Her last words were: “I would just like to say I’m sailing with the rock, and I’ll be back, like Independence Day, with Jesus. June 6, like the movie. Big mother ship and all, I’ll be back. I’ll be back.”
7. Peter Kürten, The Vampire of Düsseldorf - Sentenced to death by guillotine after murdering nine people and drinking their blood. His last words were: “After my head is chopped off, will I still be able to hear, at least for a moment, the sound of my own blood gushing from the stump of my neck? That would be the pleasure to end all pleasures.”
8. John Wayne Gacy - Sentenced to death by lethal injection after murdering 33 young men. His last words were: “Kiss my ass.”

Women Who Kill: Judy Buenoano
Judy Buenoano, was born Judias Welty on April 4, 1943 in Texas.
Judy claimed that, as a child, her father and stepmother abused, starved, and forced her to work as their slave. At 14, she was imprisoned for two months after she attacked her father, stepmother, and stepbrothers. Once released, she attended reform school, graduated in 1960 and became a nursing assistant.
In 1971, Judy married James Goodyear, a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. After returning from a tour of duty in Vietnam, Goodyear died from what was assumed to be natural causes on September 16, 1971. Judy was able to collect insurance money after his death, and after her home caught fire shortly after.
The following year, Judy moved in with Bobby Joe Morris and, in January 1978, he too died suddenly. Judy, again, collected insurance money.
In 1979, Judy's 18-year-old son, Michael, joined the U.S. Army. After visiting Judy on his way to Ft. Benning, he began showing symptoms of poisoning. Within weeks, Michael's arms and legs atrophied to the point that he lost use of his hands and needed metal braces put on his legs. He was shortly discharged from the army and sent to live with Judy.
On May 13, 1980, Judy took Michael canoeing on Florida's East River. When the canoe overturned, Judy swam to shore but Michael, weighed down by his metal braces, drowned. Judy collected $20,000 from life insurance.
In 1983, Judy began dating John Gentry. On his way to the liquor store, his car mysteriously exploded. While in recovery, police began to suspect Judy of foul play. Investigators revealed that Judy had told people that Gentry was suffering from a terminal illness. Upon this discovery, Gentry gave to police what Judy called his "vitamin pills", capsules which were found to contain arsenic and formaldehyde.
Michael Goodyear, James Goodyear and Bobby Joe Morris were all exhumed and found to be victims of arsenic poisoning. Arsenic was also revealed to be the original cause of Michael's disability.
Judy was convicted on 2 counts of first-degree murder, attempted murder and insurance fraud and, in 1998, Judy became the first woman executed in Florida since 1848.

Jeffrey Dahmer removing his glasses before trial. It’s said he did this so he didn’t have to see the faces of the victim’s families during court.
“He’s not wearing glasses so that he can’t see people. He panics.” - Jeffrey’s stepmother, Shari Dahmer {X}

Library Witness – Stephanie Salmon
Masterpost
First of all let me remind you that this summarizes a testimony. The victim was going through an horrific situation and her memory and perception may have been altered by fear. However, if there is a mistake I made or an important point I forgot to mention, please tell me.
Stephanie was interviewed a few days after the shooting (11/05/99).
She was a ninth-grade student.
She did not recall seeing anything unusual in the morning.
Because Stephanie could not find the friend she was supposed to meet, she decided to go to the library and study.
She was “working on [her] Science” when she began hearing “banging noises” which she thought were because of “construction workers.”
Others had looked up but had then kept on working.
She observed Mrs. Nielson entering the library, yelling “help, there’s a student with a gun, get under the tables.”
She started hearing gunfires from the commons, along with explosions.
One of the gunmen stated “This is for all the crap you gave us” or “for all the crap this year,” and “everyone with a white hat, stand up.” Nobody complied to the request.
A suspect laughed and said “look at these brains,” but also a racial slur.
Due to her positioning, Stephanie could not make any visual observations.
With the fire alarm going off, it was difficult to hear the suspects comments.
She saw one student’s body “was smoking” from the mid torso area.
A suspect walk passed her. She described him as wearing a white coloured shirt, with a “black or navy blue vest,” black combat boots with black pants tucked into them. However, she could not see his face.
The shooters were laughing a lot, “like they were having fun enjoying it.” They did not appear to be mad.
She heard one of them stating “there’s something I’ve always wanted to do” and then make a reference to “cutting or stabbing.” One also said, “we’re gonna torch this library.”
The place was very quiet for a while, and people started moving. A student said, “they’re gone.” Stephanie got out from under the table and followed a group to an exit door.
She and other students ran and hid behind a police car.
The injured were evacuated first.
She was placed in the trunk of a patrol unit and driven to a safe area, to a cul-de-sac.

Hey, if you’re contemplating leaving the world
Please, don’t.
This is your sign if you’ve been looking for one.
There’s a million reasons to stay.
It might not feel like it right now, but stuff will get better.
Maybe not now, maybe not next week, but I promise you, you’ll look back someday and wonder how you could ever feel so low.
I’m so fucking proud of you for making it this far.
Please, fight just a little bit longer.

one of few colourised photographs of Brenda Spencer.
however dark it may be, in the shooting, Brenda had a surprisingly good aim for someone whom was only 16 at the time. not only was this frightening, but she had fired 30 rounds of ammunition. she then barricaded herself in her home for several hours, speaking to a journalist on the phone. this is when she had reported her infamous line (which was even referenced in classic movie ‘The Breakfast Club’) ‘i don’t like Mondays.’

20 years ago today Monday, April 19, 1999 During 3rd hour, around 9:30 AM, Eric and Dylan made a video with friends Eric Jackson and Dustin Gorton. In the Columbine Report, this is described as a “looking video assignment” and a set up video. It was to be used on the school’s morning in-house television broadcast and featured the foursome driving up to Burger King in Gorton’s 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle. Dylan was sitting in the front passenger seat, Dustin was driving, Eric Harris was a passenger in the back seat. They bought their breakfast and drove to Columbine’s student parking lot where they ate and ended the video.
Eric and Dylan skipped creative writing class (2nd to last class of the day) with Brooks Brown and Becca Hines. Brooks and Becca went on to McDonald’s where Dylan and Eric were to meet up with them after a side-trip to Eric’s house. Eric and Dylan didn’t return to school that day, skipping their last class, psychology, as well. A man hanging wallpaper next door said he heard glass breaking and other explosive sounds from the Harris garage that day.
Dylan wrote about 8 pages in his notebook, the first of which read: “About 26.5 hours from now the judgement will begin. Difficult but not impossible, necessary, nervewracking and fun. What fun is life without a little death? It’s interesting, when I’m in my human form, knowing I’m going to die. Everything has a touch of triviality to it.” One of his last journal entries read: Walk in, set bombs at 11:09, for 11:17 Leave, set car bombs. Drive to Clemete [sic] Park. Gear up. Get back by 11:15 Park cars. set car bombs for 11:18 get out, go to outside hill, wait. When first bombs go off, attack. have fun!
Eric asked Mark Manes to buy ammunition for him, though he - Harris - was old enough to purchase it himself. Mark bought 100 rounds from a local Kmart for $25 and gave it to Eric later that night. When Mark asked Eric if he was going to use the ammo to go target shooting that night Eric told him no; that he needed it for the next day

everything will fall into place, everything will be okay. life will always find a way to give back the amazing things you contribute. remember to love yourself and remind yourself you are loved.
This actually was super nice, thank you. I think everyone needs to hear this sometimes even if they’re not going through anything.
