#fun story: my dad once grabbed a moose calf to pet #to preface this DO NOT GO GRABBING YOUNG FROM WILD ANIMALS #THIS IS GROUNDS FOR DYING BY THE HANDS OF MOMMA #my dad is an Albertan farmer through and through we raised beef cattle #momma moose had twin calves and they were several hundred meters apart #so my dad putters out in the farm truck after watching this and grabs the one calf from the field and brings it to the house #I was too young to remember thosbbit have heard the story #so calf gets the weirdest and probably most terrifying abduction of life and after a few minutes of this my dad returns the calf #within view of momma and they all go about their day with mad momma moose having already attempted manslaughter for the theft of her calf #(I guess more like murder but very reasonably so) #so yes moose = cute but also moose = HUGE AND WILL HARM YOU WITHOUT SECOND THOUGHT #10/10 would pet again

I’m ridiculously comically bad at some dexterity based skills. I’ve talked about being wretched at folding but I’m equally bad at cutting.

I worked at an oil and vinegar shop, cutting fresh bread for samples every day for a year with no improvement. My manager gave me repeated lessons and was absolutely perplexed that I was incapable of any growth. I genuinely tried so hard to no avail.

Usually my beloved will precut slices of the loaves they make because it’s just better all around. I don’t mess up the angle of the loaf or mangle the slice. Today they didn’t have time.

I have no explanation for how bad I am at this.
