I started writing a fanfic (not sure if I’ll finish it but oh well). It’s a crossover between MPHfPC and this Webtoon I like about people who are fused with bugs (it’s called Jungle Juice). I’m also adding my own oc as the main character so Jacob isn’t the narrator (also because I thought the character idea was cool 🤷‍♀️). It starts a month or so after the Desolations of Devil’s Acre and is set in semi modern times. Would anyone be interested?

She must see a neurosurgeon soon to adjust the doses of the antiseizure medications. Also she needs CT scan and MRI to ensure that the shunt is working well. Ivana/Ivy : Ivy has a skill that has earned her the title of best historian in the peculiar world. She has the ability to see scenes from the past, in a counterclockwise direction she sees the past of things, from the current moment until the creation of the thing. Her brain rearranges the facts in chronological order and she knows the entire history of what she touches. Unfortunately, her peculiarity makes her extremely vulnerable, when her gift is in use she enters a trance-like state that only ends when she sees the entire story of something, Or when someone makes her let go of something/someone she is holding onto.

I have this headcannon about librarians that some were able to access certain soul jars remotely.

Like hear me out, we know soul jars are only tangible and visible to librarians and so only librarians (or someone blackmailing a librarian in Caul’s case) can access them. But what if there are librarians who can remotely access soul jars. Or tap into a soul’s power temporarily. Like, this opens the doors to so many possibilities.

Another thing is that Abaton might not have been the first library of souls. Perhaps soul jars are actually intangible by nature but librarians channel them. Like perhaps they were meant to be on another plane of existence or something but instead some librarians decided it would be interesting if they were accesible here (in the 3d) instead.

I was rereading Miss Peregrine’s Museum of Wonders and I realized it says right in the text that Jeremy Bentham is their “old uncle” and I didn’t need to do all the research. It was fun anyways though.

Hi, do you ever wonder why Miss P’s last name is Lefay but her brothers are both Bentham? The Peregrine part aside.

Ymbrynes get to change their name upon completing their education so maybe she chose to change her name to have nothing to do with her old family. Still, I’m more curious about the Lefay name and what it means to Miss P.

Yeah, as you said, I think Alma got her ymbryne name after she graduated from the academy. So she used to be Alma LeFay Bentham

I think LeFay may have been part of her mother’s name? I know their parents were. Not great. But when she was talking about them that one time she seemed to be just sad about it, rather than despising them. (Same with her brothers. She obviously doesn’t like them, but really, in the end it all just makes her sad. Maybe there was a time when they did get along as children? Yknow little Jack maybe NOT being abusive the moment she’s born.) anyway, anyway, or she’s not sad about it, and she just took her mother’s name in spite of her. Like taking control over something that was once a bad experience for her, making that name HERS yknow what I’m saying?

Also apparently as of Museum of Wonders we find out Bentham wasn’t actually their family name. Myron just took it, cause he wanted to pay tribute to Jeremy Bentham (who did use to be their ancestor). But like, cmon Mr. Riggs I‘ve been going with the fact that that‘s their last name for like 7 years now, some people even for 9 years? And suddenly you‘re telling us that‘s not actually their last name. Bro.

So anyway I‘m obviously ignoring the canon here <3
