lately i've been working on a comic about the start of my characters' story both as composition and story-telling training and to finally stick with a consistent story for these freaks. i'll be posting these here as archiving purposes but if you're in the niche of enthusiasts of stories about bug-loving misanthropes meeting weirdly bird-shaped lawyers, you may get a couple mileages out of it.

came up with a pikmin story and thought it'd be fun to share :]

would be about Dazel, a free spirit always after a new scheme to get popular and famous! after hitting herself on the head, she came up with a design for a spaceship that could achieve warp-speed using only electricity as resource. working hard in her garage building a rocket from scratch (and cheaping out on some parts), she takes the prototype - the S.S. Revolution - on a test run.. only to accidentally overclock the ship into directing its entire charges into the engine, sending her flying millions of light-years away, crashing on an unknown planet.

always making the best out of a bad situation, dazel decided to record and share her stay on an uncharted world while waiting for help.

after befriending some wildlife (that she tried to shoo away from the "dazelodon" she discovered) and trying to upload the footage, she realized she was cut off from any network - meaning her SOS messages weren't reaching anyone either... with a ship working but out of energy and no way to contact civilization, all hope seemed lost... until she somehow found a source of electricity, on this savage, untouched planet!

with the help of the (sure to be a hit online) pikmin and now on a ship with enough energy to scout the planet, dazel must gather enough Watts from various treasures and sources, outpacing her own energy expenses until she has enough to fly back home!

various notes: -her story takes place quite a while after the Pikmin games trilogy. this does not stop her from unknowingly thinking she discovered the planet. -she believes everything on PNF-404 is natural, all items and structures being complex vegetations and mineral formations (perhaps blocking the thought that a civilization this big could exist). -uses the word "dazzling" to describe herself and others indefensibly often. -finds the path to some treasures and electrical sources a bit too consciously designed, perhaps intentional... but that's just her imagination, right...?
