the game itself isnt public domain because well i dont own the art assets i used, they are from like asset packs i found. But the characters are public domain.

I made a game in powerpoint, because I thought it was an interesting prospect and fun thing to do. Made this game in like two days, it was definitely something to make it all work. It's really short. 3 endings, two secret endings.

The game is about you encountering a pumpkinhead girl on your travels who asks you for help.

Slenderman Copyright

As I said previously the rights to slenderman are like vague, theyve always been vague but after Knudsen sold the rights to James Vanderbilt's company Mythology Entertainment in 2016 its even vaguer as that company no longer exists. I suppose Vanderbilt owns Slenderman? it's unclear.

However, let's be totally real here. The concept of a tall man kidnapping children and being all eldritch is hardly copyrightable due to its vagueness. The name Slenderman may be?

But some of the most popular creations didn't even call him that. Marble Hornets called him the Operator for instance. So idk, like the copyright of Slenderman feels sort of like this.

Also even if it was super enforcable, the SCP, SCP-582 is basically slenderman in all but name.

SCP's are under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, which means you can remix and adapt them, even commercially as long as you give proper credit. More info here.

I know I made a point to mark Slenderman as copyrightable in the past and he is, but like the workarounds are oh so simple that it frankly I feel like he might as well not be.

CODENAME: BLOODROSE A young woman with pale blue eyes, vitiligo, and deep red hair with bright red and magenta highlights. Her right arm and right leg are cybernetic prostheses. She wears a black and gold necklace, along with a cybernetic brace above her waistline.

So I needed a font for a project that would look sort of like the pokemon Unown, like letters that are alive creatures. but wanted it to look different from Unown for well legal reasons and have a more squiggly hand drawn quality to them.

So I made my own. It's all the letters of the english alphabet, no special lowercase, lowercase just makes the same letters as uppercase. Also ! and ? which i forgot to add there

Mirror Mickey

This one was a very interesting idea/challenge. I think I might do a proper glass Mickey at some point but I wanted to do a mirror Mickey similar to Mirror Kirby/the magic Mirror from Snow White but it ultimately got pared down to this simpler, straightforward take on it.

Which is still fairly strange- I mean, is the dresser thing it's own being? I kind of think so. I think it's like a wooden golem and it's carrying around this Mirror Mickey. That's my own headcanon though.

The Unknown from the Glasgow Willy Wonka Experience

The Unknown is like an evil chocolatier who lives in the walls. While the story of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory are copyrighted still (i believe owned by Netflix currently as they bought the rights to all of Roald Dahl's works a few years back)

The Unknown is an original character that was created using AI to write the script for this event. AI creations are not able to be copyrighted. Therefore, its public domain

I think the funniest way to learn a movie is in the public domain is that, if you go to its Wikipedia page, you can just watch the whole thing

You can just go to Wikipedia and watch "Plan 9 from Outer Space" if you want to. Not sure if it's the most ideal way to watch it, but nothing's stopping you

Another Fictodim story, this time with an original character I created based on the open source Cyclock race. She has to ascend a menacing tower in the midst of Fictodim in search of answers, an assignment

Some minor connective tissue to the first fic but largely just sets up some new characters, most notably Nova.

References to other open source things such as Jenny Over-There are present but I didn't want to overload it with that as this is mostly to establish the tower and Nova.

Mickie Manuela

From the very beginning of this project I had this idea in mind where one of the Mickey variants would be a human woman named Mickie. The idea hasn't fundamentally changed from the start but I never really felt like it was the right moment, in a way, up until now, I guess lol. The colors on this were tough. I wanted this to evoke Steamboat Willie without outright placing it in black and white.
