Here's a little comic progress summary for anyone who's interested to know where I'm at with WINGS.

✓ Script: Finished! ✓ Thumbnails: 49/49 ✓ Panel placement: 49/49 ✓ Dialogue: 49/49 Speech bubbles and FX: 32/49 ✓ 1st round of sketches: 49/49 2+ rounds of sketches: 40/49 Inks: 7/49 Flat colors: 7/49 Shading: 7/49

I won't be updating this on Tumblr (just because I'm now doing it weekly on Patreon). I think that once I have all my sketches in a good shape, it will be smooth sailing finishing the pages after that.

If you read webcomics, which format do you prefer? Traditional multi-panel pages, panel-by-panel pages (for example Ava’s Demon), or webtoon format?

If your soulmate dies, what happens to your wings? Do they wither? Do your feathers fall out until there’s almost nothing left of your wings?

Do people like Mia and Godot presumably have their wings? Did Mia lose hers when Godot went into a coma? Did Godot lose his when Mia died? If the judge doesn’t have them, does that mean he hasn’t met his soulmate, or he’s a widow?

I’ll be honest, I haven’t really thought about it 😅 they would probably keep their wings even after a soulmates’ death, because I like the angst of having to be reminded of the loss every day. Maybe some people would surgically remove them because they can’t handle the memories.

I still haven’t decided which I like better, the judge not having found his soulmate yet, OR maybe his soulmate died and he surgically got them removed 🤔 how angsty do we want to get with this au??

Godot would definitely keep his wings but they would get in a really rough shape eventually, because he can’t make himself to take care of them after Mia’s death.
