The Golden Calf.
He took the gold from them, fashioned with an engraving tool, and made it into the image of a calf. Then they said, "Israel, these are you gods, who brought you up from the land of Egypt! - Ex 32:4
AI. The technocracy's new golden calf. The ability to outsource human thought and judgement to something outside of ourselves. This thing that can make decisions based on pure logic, with no regard for morality, right and wrong.
The mid-wits come to the altar of AI to worship. To celebrate the great prosperity it will bring them without thinking about repercussions of the actions that they are taking. Following Charismatic CEOs who act as false prophets and leading their sheep astray.
No, we shouldn't be worried about AI running rampant on society, creating a new robot species that supersedes our own humankind.
Instead we should worry about humans who wield this tool to build a world void of our very humanity and compassion, where profit and power can be attained guilt free. Where decisions and recommendations created by AI replace our own judgement and morality, a tool used to determine who lives and who dies. A world where miracles are not even attempted because the math doesn't work out. Pure logic is cold, and void of kindness, selflessness and love, emotions that many of those driving to build these these tools think are weak and needless. Emotions that stand in the way of "achieving the greater good".
In a world of insurance actuaries and risk managers, weighing the cost of human life versus the payout for those injured by a defective car, do we really believe that this tool, albeit an amazing one will be used for great good, rather than great and pervasive evil?

The KAC.
Psalm 51:1-3 "Be gracious to me, God, according to your faithful love; according to your abundant compassion, blot out my rebellion. Completely wash away my guilt and cleanse me from my sin. For I am conscious of my rebellion and my sin is always before me."

The long boy.
Prov 14:22 "Don't those who plan evil go astray? But those who plan good find loyalty and faithfulness."
I ask myself, what plans have I laid to do good for others? How have I contributed to the good of the lives of my family friends and neighbors?
Focus on planning to do good, avoid selfishness and an over focus on growing your own wealth and power and instead focus on doing good by your family, friends, and neighbors.

The Main Squeeze.
“Whenever you are about to find fault with someone, ask yourself the following question: What fault of mine most nearly resembles the one I am about to criticize?”
