I saw this lovely video a few days ago and had to make one. Just added a bit of red yarn to make the gills fluffier. I had one as a pet when I was a teen and he was a silly little guy. 🙂
The correct toe number (4 front toes, 5 back toes) is a nice touch. Idk it's the small things that make a huge difference to me.
WIP pic of when I added the eyes. Reminds me of Lord Hyness 😱
My printer finally died for real (actually it conked out mid-project last month...) and it was too hot to use the sewing machine. So I used that as an excuse to try out Amigurumi for the first time. I can make Rex with most of these colors, too, so that's also an option down the line ig.
Crochet's scary imo compared to sewing because there's math and runes and counting but I managed to make a tiny weird thingy out of yarn so I'm happy with that. ^_^
My pattern for reference (why is the formatting scuffed). I don't recommend making this. I just don't want to lose it.

Iconic and famous fish Blipper turns 32 today so I made a plushie of him. I should poke San-ei until they make an official one it's been way too long, man.
edit: Good, there's now a swimming Kirby plush. It seems to be working. *pokes San-ei again*
Oh, and also happy 32nd to King Dedede, Waddle Dee, and some Popo guy, etc. 🎉
I made a Maxim Tomato to replace my crumbling old pincushion. The star has a little magnet in it to pick up loose pins before I inadvertently step on them. 😅
The inside is a round metal scrubber which apparently sharpens the pins(?) and is satisfyingly crunchy.
As modeled by King Dedede here, it has an elastic to stay on my wrist so I don't lose it. Also, the stem is a hoop to attach a tiny pair of scissors I got from Daiso. Very handy for snipping thread!
After numerous attempts, I finally finished making a Dedede plushie! I tried a bunch of different designs, but eventually realized that the 64 design is actually peak (okay, they all are except the one from Kid Kirby, but...). I love his smug attitude. 😏
I only had some scraps of white fleece to work with, but it was enough for the coat trim (and some annoying high pile minky for the inner lining). It's INSANELY warm and felt nice as I was sewing the details on his head and body. My room is super cold so I really appreciated it.
Some dollar store broadcloth for the yellow on the coat emblem. It's actually pretty nice. Don't have material for the hammer at the moment, but fingers-crossed I find some.
Took a while but I finally finished this. The fireless(?), aquatic(???), friendly Dodongo from Zelda Oracles of Ages/Seasons. Sorry Moosh and Ricky, I'm choosing the dinosaur every time.
Idk if the folds on his legs and body show up but I swear they're there. I took some design liberties since my dude has got barely anything official to work with. Also I'm still a Blender noob heh. Some of the seam placements baffle me and I designed the thing. 🤦♀️
Doesn't quite fit in my bag lol. It's nice (for me) that the only embroidery is the eyes. A welcome break from Magolor's ornate fit. 😛
I was trying to make Dimitri Zelda Oracles but I got bored and went back to my muse instead. Made a new model and everything. oops
Trying to use up more fleece before I splurge on some minky. Chilly used up most of my white fleece so I was cutting it close.
Satin is annoying to work with for a number of reasons but it's shiny so I did my best lol. I don't have any actual ribbons that look even a little similar but I reaaally wish I did.
It's been almost a year since I did all the Magoland challenges and his little speech at the end was so cute omg. Probably the fastest I've EVER gone from 🤬 to 🥺
The usual places just put up some new pics of the Monter Hunter Zoids. I don't know much about MH aside from Stories, but I really like the colors on these.
A cosplayer and an increasingly obscure spider. I love Dark Taranza’s design so I hope he comes back someday. At least the shopkeeper is keeping his memory alive. 🥲🥲🥲
Drawn on a potato iPad I got for Christmas. Maybe I’ll do a background when I get used to using it. It breaks if I look at it funny lol
TIL 2024 is the year of the dragon so I'd thought I'd share some pics of a plushie of Playland's Dragon coaster that I made a long time ago.
The Dragon coaster is one of my favorites. The layout is not quite as fun of intense as the Coney Island Cyclone, but the Cyclone doesn't have a badass dragon on it 😛. I haven't gone there in a while since Playland removed all of my favorite rides and this is the only good one left besides The Whip.
Another angle, guest starring Landia. I have a bunch of dragon OCs that I made plushies of but they're MIA.
I'm amazed it still stands despite being so long and kinda old. Kinda want to make a new one.
A Christmas present for my mom. She's not a gamer and has only played Kirby Star Allies and Return to Dreamland so he has a green hat (bucket???) instead of the more-common blue. The eyebrows are her favorite part of the design and I'm inclined to agree.
The bell doesn't ring, but I put some bells in his hat he'll still jingle when shaken. I tried to take a vid of it but the phone won't pick up the sound. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Since it's a gift I made it a bit bigger than I tend to. Nearly used all of my white fleece, heh.
I don't think Chilly likes my Magolormas tree, but he's stuck there until I can find a gift bag for him.
