The way I read this and just groaned in appreciation. You’re so right, and they’re so fluid at it, like a beautiful dance, give and take. That’s how Rosie falls in love so deeply so fast, he’s never had anything like this before in his life and he knows perfectly well he won’t find it elsewhere, it makes him determined to secure it for himself, yes -even with her draw backs, what they already have is what he wants.

And before long, she too realizes how much she depends and loves him for the same.

Also, I have the most deep seated need to see Robert Rosenthal at the sink with rolled up sleeves and dish gloves on, cheers.

In vague retrospect. 🌚 I made a promise to myself when I started this AU that for a long while I’ll write nothing before the camp, it can be referenced or mentioned or explained but it won’t have its own fic. It’s Stalag Times and Post War strictly.

Obviously backstory increases our sympathy and adds depth so, it’ll be interspersed, just not a full fic.

I love Sanchez so much. All the girls are badass, and thank you for showing many ways of dealing with trauma and bad circumstances, it makes it feel so real. Your characters are so human, it’s honestly refreshing to read

Gaaaah, this is so relieving to hear. They can be badasses in my mind while still having a hell of a time if it internally which includes some enmity, jealously and general conflicted feelings about even each other. I’m glad they’re coming across both flawed and sympathetic.
