Makima didn't start or even much react, simply turning her head to look at Nanami with a raised brow. Fresh from the shower and the towel only covering her front, the sorcerer had a full and unobstructed view of her uncovered back half. She had thought she had locked the door but given Nanami's intrusion, the redhead quietly reconsidered. It wasn't an entirely unwelcome intrusion, the redhead returning to what she was doing. Keeping her towel loosely in place with one hand, Makima addressed him as casually as she did when their paths would cross back at her office.

"Yes, Nanami? What is it?" A faint smile that didn't quite touch her eyes formed on her lips, the woman turning to look at him over her shoulder. "It must be important if you came in here like you did without even knocking. Or perhaps were you hoping to catch me without the towel?"

Maybe I'm old but I think the RP community nowadays is far too obsessed with looking pretty and having faceclaims, themes, presentation and the like. When I started, I was part of a group of people who managed to carve out a section of community solely on writing alone. Hell, by the time I started using proper FC's and themes, I was 800+ followers deep. Everything else came later. By no means is this change bad but it feels like everyone is sitting at a fancy restaurant and waiting for a blind date dressed prim and proper instead of taking a chance at something in the middle of the road and seeing how you click. For example, I was once blocked by someone for following them after reading their rules and letting them know as stated in their rules because I looked like trouble. I dunno, I kinda want to go back just a little bit to people having the courage to reach out and do silly things that don't matter instead of making sure people have done their homework before reading. Also people being hesitant to interact with each other is a bummer all around. Throw spaghetti at a wall, be a little silly, do M!A's again, reblog a meme, be OOC for a bit. Have fun and be silly so often!
