Hey stayblr, I've been thinking of ways we can unite to help Palestine in the current genocide. With Israel closing borders again, no aid is allowed in and local organizations on the ground urgently need our help. So, i thought of rallying to raise donations for Palestine, big or small, as every dollar counts and can truly make a difference.

First target : 1500 dollars ✅

Next Target : 2000 dollars, to be split between Care for Gaza and UNRWA. We’ll raise the target goal according to our progress!

For transparency, donations will be received through my Kofi, with daily updates on our progress. Here are the links to UNRWA’s and Careforgaza’s work in Gaza!

Palestinians are saying that this is the worst phase of the genocide yet. They need as much of our help as we can give them, so please, let’s all stand together for this.

words can't express how much i hate to do this but my employer has pushed me into a corner and i'm not sure where else to turn until this is resolved.

since taking time off work to care for my dying father who has now passed, despite agreeing to pay me compassionately for that time in conjunction with using what leave days i had left, my employer has docked my wage this month by £553.58. with the big expense of a funeral looming and new expenses of extra household bills added to my load, this is a huge blow to how i'd planned to manage things.

i am of course in dispute with my employer over this but i can't see it being resolved soon so in the short term, if anyone is able to help us during this difficult time i would be forever indebted to you, however small the support, and when i return to writing etc i promise to write you a story in return, to say thank you the only way i know how. i don't know how much more life can throw at me.

i want to make art, not money. my art is my narrative. it speaks. it speaks volumes, not just sit on the wall looking pretty. it makes you feel things, it makes you see things from a wider perspective, a vast point of view, above caste, race, gender, sexuality, expectations and rules. it tells you a story. of freedom, and expression. as long as people are listening to my art, my lore, i dont care if they are looking at me or not.

There is a fee you can choose to apply to cover processing.

Which if you choose to do leaves you with a total of ~$1.35 (USD) depending on the type of card you have.

Adults and children alike are currently dying in Palestine due to starvation. (World Health Organization Link)

The Gaza Strip is one of two places in the entire world that is categorized as Phase 5 (the highest phase) on the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification scale.

So even if you think it isn't enough, remember that donating even as little as $1.35 helps! It's $1.35 they wouldn't have had otherwise. So donate if you can. 🇵🇸
