This is a relief honestly, Basil deciding not to be glamorous while dying was disappointing.

Absolutely obsessing over Sunny and Basil's relationship, and especially, how they are parallels. They are dealing with the same trauma, but Sunny is internalising it and Basil externalizes it. I especially love the fact of how they idealise each other. They had this mental image of being perfect, but this image broke after the incident, but they don't want to accept it. I especially love how Sunny does it, since Basil uses an hallucination and self-blame to hide it, but Sunny literally created an inner world and gave his bestie blue hair and pronouns. Like!!! And when interacting with Basil is not related to discovering the truth, the fact that Omori holds his hand when tagging him, that Sunny makes HOLDING HANDS the strongest attack, makes Basil hug his alter ego from behind, gives Basil powers too so they both can fight enemies like little gay superheroes is so wholesome. Like, it just shows how much Sunny loves Basil. Also, some lines that Stranger has also shows how much Sunny cares about his relationship with Basil even when it means facing the part he doesn't want to accept (him being a part of the truth). I love these guys so much, I can't wait to see them getting all affectionate in the manga.
