the other day I was crying my heart out in my bed, trying to explain to Apollo that I felt like a dying lightbulb: my inner light flickering and ready to give out at any moment, because of my utter disappointment in myself and in humanity; I couldn’t understand why do Deities even bother with us, humans

and the mental download I got in response was honestly so simple - “people are beautiful”

in their imperfections, in their mistakes, in their rage and anger, in their sorrow and sadness, in their vulnerability, in their tears, in their weaknesses, in their envy and jealousy, they are.. just beautiful because they are alive

💛Apollo did it again! Honestly, he's been super active these last few weeks. And I love it. 💛

Context:

Like last week, Apollo went into teacher mode.

Last night there was a documentary on TV about the end of the Roman empire and how it may have actually happened.

I had just walked out of the bathroom after getting ready for bed when I forgot I left the TV on. Well I went back to the living room and I freeze when I heard the narrator mention "Long-haired Apollo".

(Any history buffs out there, feel free to fill in any gaps I leave here in this brief lil recount of the scene.)

So apparently some Romans entered this Greecian looking city and things started out seemingly good. That is until the soldiers plundered a temple to Apollo, even stealing the statue of him. Since Apollo is the god of Plagues and Illness as well, the Romans are said to have believed that the epidemics that hit them due to climate change were caused by Apollo as a sort of divine retribution.

The entire documentary was interesting but some things kinda stuck out to me. Like climate change is a part of nature and epidemics happen every century.

However I remember just chuckling nervously,looking at Apollo and saying "Remind me not to get on your bad side."

Which book is it

💛 You know Apollo wants you to read something when your Etextbook starts scrolling furiously only to stop at the section about Ancient Greek Divination and the oracle of Delphi. 💛

Context:

For my online class, my textbook is on my computer. I was busy trying to take some notes when something happened (I either hit the wrong button on my keyboard or something) and my pages started scrolling super fast. I fumbled to stop it and when it finally stopped scrolling it was opened to the section about The Oracle of Delphi and Divination in Ancient Greece.

When it comes to homework, I always Apollo for help so it's no surprise that his interest was peaked when I started doing my readings.

What makes this sorta weird and funny is that this entire section is on Magic and divination and such things. Things Apollo's been gracious enough to aid me in.

I don't know about you, but I have a feeling he's excited about this.
