Why do we need jobs to live its just so sad to think ill have to spend such a big part of my life working under someone else and making profit for another one of the corporate machines. The worst part is being aware that all of this is manufactured, that even after i finish my job i have to pretend to be busy or else they will try to exploit even more of my work. Why cant i just leave and do my own suff after im finished?? This is so nonsensical. Also fuck mechanized and repetitive jobs. There is no sense of meaning in doing the same thing for so many years, and then you retire when you are no longer in a good state to enjoy most activities. Worst still is thinking abt working in my own and having to admin a social media account to get visibility exposure or whatever and then also have water down the kinds of things i say or express bc some of it is not "media safe". I hate that art became another thing to consume i hate how much words have become sterelized. I hate having to pretend to like or to be indifferet to something just so i can get money to live and i hate having to pretend to be something i am not just to be hired by another thankless corporation.
