i’m very tempted to do a big clear out of this blog & go back to friends only… it would be a hell of a lot easier to make a new blog but im so sick of constantly jumping blogs ugh.

this is going to be my canon for all vampires on my blog , regardless of origin .

sex drive.

while vampires cannot & do not need to genetically procreate , this does not deprive them of a sex drive . given that they can manipulate the blood within their own body to adjust their temperature , i see no reason that they cannot do the same with other parts of their body . not only that , but sex drive is not only a physical sensation . vampires who had active sex lives in life will not suddenly feel nothing in their death  –  it can be amplified or dulled depending on which aspects of the vampire’s personality shifted due to their undeath and their bloodline , but no part of their mentality is just snuffed out . to this end , vampires have the same range of sex drives as humans do .

sensation.

the most euphoric sensation for a vampire is obviously the act of ingesting blood , which is vaguely akin to a human achieving orgasm multiplied tenfold . it is an exquisite , unique pleasure that cannot be replicated by any other means . while the most similarly comparable experience is orgasm , drinking blood is not always a sexual act . it can , however , bring arousal to a vampire should they be that way inclined . drinking the blood of a sexual partner can heighten the experience , and for many the combined actions are the pinnacle of sensation for a vampire .
