Red. Serious Nature. Met in Kanto. Likes to quiet. Ability: Intimidate. Moves: Glare, Tri-Attack, U-turn, Slack Off.
H-Huh...? W-What?
He was confused, but at the same time, he felt creeped out by the details of this 'entry'. Because of this, Red felt eyes following his every move...

It was a small gesture and the action didn't take much thinking. I mean, what would you do if someone who wasn't really used to the extreme weather of Mt. Silver took his/her jacket off to save a damn magazine? First, you'd think that the person was crazy. Second, you'd be too shocked to do anything. And finally -- when you're cured of the shock -- you'd give them an article of winter-wear you don't wear, right? Even if Red apparently 'poopoo'-ed on his fans, he knew that his fans (and non-fans) were very susceptible to this 'painfully cold' weather. And if someone else was on the mountain, Red would have given that person a scarf as well.
Tumblr media
He had absolutely no idea why this girl was wriggling around. D-Did Red adjust the scarf too tightly around her neck? D-Did he choke her? I-Is she going to die?! His eyes widened just slightly before walking up close to her to check if she was alright, but what had really scared him was the fact that she was bursting with excitement and pure happiness.
...This girl was choking and yet...she seemed happy...? W-What kind of person is she??!!
Then, Kris spoke.
He couldn't live with the guilt that he had /accidentally/ killed someone, so he let out a sigh of relief as he slumped back down on the snow; head between his knees. For the first time today (or since Kris came), Red felt relaxed. Maybe she'd leave peacefully with the souvenir? Ha! Instead of going on her own way, Red was told that the girl would bury the embarrassing thing somewhere else. Somewhere warm and dry; he was regretting not burying this thing up here already...
Letting out another sigh, he slapped his legs together and decided to make himself comfortable since Kris couldn't understand Red's fondness for being alone. He crossed his legs together and 'hmm'-ed. He didn't really have much things to update her about (wait, why would he need to update about his life to her?), and Kris, herself, should know that he'd kick a trainer's overly confident ass in a blink of an eye. Red's eyes began to scan the area around the two to remember when the 'last time they talked ta each other'. Was it a year? A few months? A day? Red began to shake his head to make himself remember that time. All he could remember about her was the time she...beat him...but other than that, any other visits (from Kris or someone else) looked like a blur.
"When was the last time you came here?" he asked her, completely ignoring her previous question.

Time
Time?
With him working on making his cave a little more homely, shooing away presistent trainers and beating them in less than five-ten minutes, and taking care of his teammates, Red did not have any free time! His scheduel was full--
Pika...Snoor...Lap...Chaar...Blast...Sauur...
So...very...full...

Pika's death
Without Pikachu, what would Red do?
The yellow critter was the one who helped him become friendlier with Pokemon, to bond with them, to see them as friends rather than tools to use to get recognized. A-And they had such a close bond! Even if Red didn't really understand the complex mind of his little friend (or vice-versa), he could tell anything to Pikachu. His thoughts, his feelings, and his inability to not be awesome -- I-I mean, be selfless.
Pikachu's the one who Red could tell anything to because -- well, he couldn't speak to any other humans, and Pikachu was his friend...his best friend (next to Green, of course).
If the Pokemon were to die, a part of Red died as well.
...
Hey, Pikachu.
Pikaa~?

Death of Fire
Red didn't know much about Fire.
He had heard the Pokemon Center nurses talk about how young and handsome the new Champion of the Indigo League was. He hadn't thought much about the talk since all the nurses talked about was this 'Fire' guy's appearance, so Red went on his own business.
Truthfully, he really didn't know how he would feel if his descendant (?) were to die. Maybe he'd feel somewhat disappointed that Fire couldn't stick around longer to sweep his 'fans' off their feet?
Note: Red had originally thought the question was about Charizard's flame, so he had a mini freak-attack...

Death of Leaf
Truthfully, Red didn't know about a person named Leaf. But thinking back on the name, he remembered his mother telling him about a very pretty girl she saw coming out of Professor Oak's lab. To his mother (and anyone else who had a clue about what goes on in Pallet Town), Leaf seemed to have picked up her starter and began her journey.
With that flashback, Red still had no idea what to feel about a complete stranger's death.
Indifferent...? he answered not too confidently.

Lust.
It's no secret that Red is still a virgin. I mean, how's a person -- who's been secluded on an extremely cold mountain -- ever going to find someone to have intercourse with? --
NO, there is no way in hell that he'd do it with...them; not even if Arceus tells him to.
Frankly, he hadn't really thought about anything sexual.
When he was ten (and starting on his journey), all he could think about was getting noticed and recognized by people. After a few years (or long months) of becoming the champion, all he could think about was getting away from the public's eye. Fastforwarding to when he turned sixteen, Red wasn't like 'normal' adolescents who liked guys or girls. He only thought about what he would do to improve his team's strength. And at twenty-years old (going on twenty-one), he still couldn't understand the big deal about sex.
To make a long story short, Red's terrified of seeing someone bare and doing such...lewd activities with them.

Red twitched at her words. Though the girl might have not meant it in a bad way, he could help but feel offended towards the said words. Was she implying that his Charizard was weak? He's been on this mountain for seven to eight years, so his Pokemon would have been used to the temperature! He was (then again, his body was really really weird)! When the girl wiped her nose, Red held back a snort. She implies that his Charizard's weak, yet she's the one who's sniffling! And then, the worst happened: Red felt snot coming out of his nose -- HIS NOSE.
What?!
To hide the fact that Red was cold, he quickly covered both his mouth and nose with his hand to wipe the dribbling snot on his glove. Of course, he meant to keep it there for a few seconds but when he saw the girl's Typhlosion in her arms, he felt a smile crack on his face. The scene looked similar to Pikachu and his hugs -- except for the major fact that Pikachu could never get that big, he's not a fire-type, and he didn't have an explosive fire-collar. Yeah, so very similar...
Looking back up at Charizard, the Pokemon and the trainer exchanged looks as if to ask each other if it was okay to go a little closer to the Typhlosion. After a few seconds into the stare-off, the two looked away in unison and decided that getting closer to the two strangers would hurt their pride. (A few seconds after that thought, both Charizard and Red scooted ever-so slightly to the girl and Typhlosion.)
When he suddenly heard his name, he answered with a quiet, 'huh'. Red really hadn't expected this girl to recognize him, since she had treated him like some creep, after all, and being treated like this gave him an unexpected blow -- especially since this girl knew exactly who he was...ehr...is.
Glancing up at the pure, white sky, Red noted that whatever plan he was using to keep his presence a mystery whenever he came down was working...did he even have a plan? Well, whatever that 'plan' was, he decided to tuck it back in his mind.
Red, now giving the girl a raised brow, stared at her with a small quirk of his lip. She was previously calling him a creep, and now she was suddenly asking him questions so...friendly. Maybe she was trying to make up to him by asking how he was doing? Or maybe she was secretly a fan of him and wanted to get to know him better? Or she was just fickle. Either way, the sudden change in her tone had both creeped him out and made him curious.
Talking about the trainers who had challenged him, Red answered the question, "They're all too easy." Then, he added a haughty 'hmph' afterwards.
Tumblr media
Red hovered his hands closer to his Charizard's flame before cutting off the look he was giving the girl. Though he meant to sigh, a small chatter had come from his teeth. He snapped his mouth shut and -- for the first time -- glared at the snow underneath his feet. Out of all the days on Mt. Silver, he had to be stuck outside this day. He had to be stuck with this stranger and this stranger had to see him when he was in this vulnerable state.
What if this girl challenged him for a battle and he loses? Thinking about that humiliating scene, Red's pout returned to his face.

Seeing Red || Red and Lyra
Lyra tightened her grip on herself, and she sniffed as she watched the boy stumble back. He picked at his hair childishly, a small pout evident on his stone-cold features, and she couldn’t help but be reminded a bit of a boy she used to know. Deciding not to dwell on the striking similarity too much, she herself soon faltered at the words he muttered.
Okay…so maybe she overreacted a bit, but what girl wouldn’t freak out when some stranger grabbed them and started walking away to Arceus knows where? Pulling herself together and straightening her posture a bit, Lyra apologized, “I’m sorry…I guess you were only trying to help. Thanks for that.” She offered a forced smile, but it was gone in the blink of an eye as she huffed indignantly, her breath floating in front of her in a visible cloud.
Before she was able to ask what they were going to do now, the boy released a Charizard and commanded her to sit next to him. Hmph! Just who did this stranger think he was, bossing her around like that? Lyra bowed down to no one! Sure she acted nice (most of the time) and went along with what people said, but never has she followed a command! The nerve of this guy…
Tumblr media
Snorting, Lyra shuffled her numb legs over to the boy and plopped down next to him. She scoffed under her breath in disgust that she had no other options but to go along with this guy or die a freezing death up on this stupid mountain.
Not missing a beat she replied to his comment, “It’s alright, this’ll suffice for now. Though I don’t imagine your Charizard will be able to withstand this weather for long on his own.”
Wiping her nose with the back of her hand, she reached into her pocket until she found the right pokeball. Lyra shakily pulled the ball out and pathetically tossed it out in front of her, her Typhlosion emerging with a loud yawn. The Pokemon looked around with a confused expression, then visibly shivered at the cold around him. “Cinder here’ll help your Charizard keep us and himself warm. C’mere boy!” She smiled a genuine smile and held her arms out for the large fire Pokemon. Like an excited Lilipup, the Typhlosion hobbled over into her arms. The heat emitting from him quickly warmed her up, and she motioned for him to lay in front of the boy and herself while the boy’s Charizard flanked their back-sides.
Turning to look up at the boy, she suddenly spoke, “So, how’re things going for you up here, Red? I heard it’s been a while since you last came down from this mountain and made an appearance in an actual town.”
Tumblr media
Her curious eyes flicked across his face, gauging his reaction. Lyra honestly hadn’t know the boy was Red until he released his Charizard, but she had had a hunch from the get-go that this boy was the mysterious hermit of Mt. Silver.
Speaking his name made her tongue feel dirty, and she couldn’t help but wonder why her rival idolized this guy as much as she did. Her first impression of him didn’t really do much to strengthen Kris’s apparent love for him…why would she idolize a guy who just ran around picking up random frozen girls? Maybe that’s the real reason why he stayed cooped up on this mountain for so long…
Either way, Lyra was stuck with the guy for now, so she might as well try and wean something out of him to see what he was really all about, right?

Your own death
Death.
Oh how he hated anything about death. He despised it, spat on it, loathed it with a burning passion, but most of all he was afraid of it -- especially his.
He was too afraid to even imagine what it would be like.
...
Like how his mother had repeatedly said, Red's reason of dying would have to be his refusal to coming down Mt. Silver. He'd die -- of the extreme cold, possibly -- and be left there...alone...
Laying in his cave, a think sheet over his body and a flattened pillow under his hat, he felt the dark aura whispering to him.
It is now time, the ominous voice hissed.
Feeling the darkness wrapping him up, Red's eyes shot open as he let out a sharp gasp. He couldn't go now. He just couldn't. There were so many things he had to do.
But it was too late.
A hazardous blizzard, six Pokemon wailing at the empty body, and a faded legend...
...
He blinked once, twice, then trice before shielding the utter fear behind his hat.
There's no way that I'll die, he bluffed out of fear.

Death of green
Just hearing those words made him shudder. The thought of Green motherfucking Oak -- as some would refer to him as -- dying made Red awkwardly shift his hat.
He could see it, hear it, and -- most importantly -- feel the sadness floating in the room. Red's mother, Green's sister, Daisy, and his fans would be crying -- balling and wailing like there's no tomorrow.
Then there's Professor Oak.
If Red was correct, he doubted Green would have reconciled with his grandfather. But there Professor Oak was, staring at his own grandson's deathbed; his fist shaking to hold back the tears.
And finally, he who observed the whole thing; he who refused to speak in front of the others; he who went by the name of Red, stayed back. Letting all the members of his team -- even Pikachu -- return to his home with his mother, he stayed.
Him and the embroidered coffin which belonged to Green.
Alone.
As a sign of respect, Red instantly took off his hat and opened up the closed coffin and stared at the stilled body.
Green, he finally spoke with a soft tilt of his lips.
My one and only rival, he paused and tightened his grip around his hat which was now placed over his own chest. Opening his mouth, he continued to speak, My friend -- my best friend...
Red began to reminisce about their meeting, getting their Pokemon, their first battle, and his determination to become stronger than Green. With the thought, a single tear adorned that gentle smile.  He chuckled awkwardly, placed his treasured hat over his friend's chest, and re-closed the case.
Thank you.
