I’ve seen so many versions of the tma finale where Jon is a distorted thing with a bunch of eyes floating above the ground but hear me out:

The moment Jon becomes the pupil of the eye, he looks even more like himself than he’s looked in years.

I dunno I feel like the implications are kinda sick.

i'm abt halfway through season 1 of tma (i think?) and i just wanted to say it's so fucking funny how jon puts his whole archivussy into voice-acting every story, then after 20 minutes of stellar in-character acting he just goes "well that was fucking stupid innit, seek psychiatric help lmfaoo" and ends the episode

elias: i considered a few classes for elias - knowledge domain cleric, great old one warlock, even enchantment wizard - but i landed on mastermind rogue. he's definitely got high CHA and high INT, but he's got the slipperiness and tactical thinking of a good rogue. mastermind also has features that line up perfectly with him. the ones i'm thinking of are "insightful manipulator," which allows the rogue to learn mechanical details of other characters after observing them, and the "soul of deceit" feature, which makes the rogue immune to mind reading, gives them the ability to present false thoughts when someone tries to read their mind, and makes them appear to always tell the truth. if we're getting fancy, maybe he also has the telepathic feat for the mind-reading or the observant feat for the perception buff. race-wise, i think jonah was a bog-standard human and bitter about it, so he tries to target more "interesting" vessels. rip og!elias, you were a cool summer eladrin. i know that reborn characters are still considered humanoid and not undead, but i like the idea of elias being affected by a cleric's "turn undead" or something similar. it tickles me.

peter: the lukas family are all fancy air genasi, change my mind. he's a cleric purely out of devotion to his patron/god, not because he's any good at it. i joked with a friend that he actually has a negative WIS mod because i can't see him being wise or intelligent in any way, and i stand by that. his actions in 158-159 are absolutely low WIS behavior - bro, why the hell would you think it's a good idea to taunt a starving archivist and yeet his favorite person into the fog dimension??? peter has no interest in being a support caster and uses all of his spell slots on offensive spells and fog cloud. everyone hates the fucking fog cloud. he will keep casting it.

having said that, and also acknowledging that unplanned pregnancies from casual sex are a real and common occurrence and it is very refreshing to see a never-married working mother portrayed without stigma, celia's exact word choice when talking about jack seems very deliberate. she doesn't know who his father is, she had "a couple of wild years," and she came out the other side of it with a child. none of those statements actually confirm that she was the birthing parent, and if jack is about a year old then he would have been born at the same time as the TTS voices started reading out cases at the OIAR. spooky baby question mark? celia is the adoptive mother to the antichrist?
