Dark hair streaming around his face. Almond-shaped eyes shadowed by lashes that looked like sketched in ink, sitting above sharp slashes of cheekbones. Say what you want about the Blacks, but they fine-tuned the art of breeding for good looks over centuries, and it culminated in the perfection in front of him.

Yes, James' eyesight might be compromised, but he’d have to be blind to miss how gorgeous Sirius is. How he turns heads in every room he enters.

Of course, he notices his beauty—it’s the kind that snatches your attention and takes your breath away, no matter your preferences. His friend being attractive is an objective fact that James has no problem admitting, the same he has no trouble admitting the sky is blue.

They came up with the most genius ideas when it was just the two of them, smirking and giggling to each other, shoulder to shoulder, whispering mischief and magic. No idea was ridiculous, it just needed fine tuning the other would provide.
