McDonald’s was my safe food until I started boycotting and like, I lost 20 pounds in a little over a month from eating a meal a day (McDonald’s was the meal) and walking to and from school and walking around the track before the other kids were done with lunch to then play volleyball. I rarely ate anything else and sometimes had a snack on the weekends since I had nothing to do to distract me from food til dinner time. Sure I was super insecure and had body dysmorphia and spent hours scrolling through the ED tags and spending plenty of time on an ED forum website but my collarbones were so defined for the first time in my life

I really want to go back to that simple time of just tons of walking and a meal a day that I consistently liked but I also don’t want to support a company that supports Israel, Ik theres some nuance since it’s a safe food and not just “oh but I like it” and made my life easier but I am also capable of making a change. Too bad no dupe is the same

the radio broadcasts, the commercials, the posters (those are my fav), the modern edits for the military or of communism and stuff, I just love to consume propaganda

democratic socialism rules! Abolish the 2 party system! Abolish republicanism! Get rid of censorship that’s why sm ppl don’t stand with Palestine! The assassinations, the Russians and the Chinese being some sort of enemy idrk! I am so happy to learn about these things! But I suck at reading comprehension so idk if I could ever read the communist manifesto so I just watch TikToks on these things then talk abt it with my dad

oh and don’t get me started on the Nazis, that has to be my favorite political topic. All the dog whistles, that aryan idea, the symbols, the music, the skinheads, the way that they infected the world with antisemitism, there’s just so much to learn. We learnt a bit abt World War 2 in class.

Ever since I was a kid I was interested in history. I’d read the books on slavery and watch movie clips of them getting whipped, unable to look away and very curious. I read Laura Ingalls’ books on her childhood on the prairie and the books on native Americans. I had a stack of them next to me while reading on the rug, I’d sneak reading when a speaker came in bc I didn’t want to listen to that I just wanted to read. I. LOVE. LEARNING.

I hate when ppl try to make friends with me and I’m not in a making friends mood. Friendship is exhausting, nurturing a new connection and learning abt another person takes a lot out of me and I just want to leave the convo but I can’t bc we don’t know each other that well. To my best friend I can just send a funny picture and then put my phone down for hours and not have to worry abt if we’re cool or not, but to a stranger that’d be rude so I have to act like I want to talk until a legit reason comes up for me to leave the convo. I’m satisfied with the amount of friends I have, I like how we’re low maintenance with each other and it took me a long time to adjust to that; I don’t want anything or anyone else but I can’t just say that

I like my time ALONE. I get home at around 4pm and spend the whole day in my room unless I have somewhere to go after school or am eating dinner

I’m watching the lolita movie from 1997 and it’s just like, there’s some kind of sick stuff at play for someone older to be with someone younger but I also do feel a bit envious. Nobody would break the law to be with me but I also recognize it’s not a good thing and the law exists for a reason, I just want to be in love and am so desperate for romance

Also thank god I didn’t find this when I was in the height of my depression last year, I watched Alfred’s Playhouse to trigger myself this would’ve been a disaster. Very aesthetic 🎀 but a disaster
