Hi! I play Sims 2 Super Collection on Mac (No Free Time & Apartment Life EP). I installed the harvestable mushroom, all the texture are perfect but it said 'Bad Gosub Tree Number' each time i click harvest :(

Do we really need to have FT EP to install it??

Sounds like you're missing the Smarter EP Check file.

Hi! I was wondering what the AntiJealousy_JealousyCheck and TestForPregnancy files in your critical files do. They conflict with other mods I use (Romantic Standards and RCC respectively) and I don't want to lose their functionality, so what might I break by removing those mods?

Those conflict with Midge's mods, because Midge was the one who coded them for us. Per our notes from Midge, here's the info straight from the source:

"I also updated "antijealousy_jealousycheck" and "testforpregnancy" but I left them separate - these are the global overrides that make the game check for potion tokens when handling jealousy (anti-jealousy potion)/pregnancies (birth control, fertility, invirility, virility potions). Since they'll conflict with some other mods I figured I'd leave them separate - that way if alternate versions have to be made to be compatible with other mods people can pick and choose the right version. One conflict that obviously will happen is with the corresponding mods from Smonaff's set, but I left in the checks for Smonaff's original tokens when adding the new combo-token checks so you can just tell people to replace Smonaff's jealousy check and pregnancy test packages with the new Sun&Moon versions. I also ran the hack conflict detection utility and found the jealousy check does not conflict with ACR's jealousy plugin but the pregnancy test conflicts with my Reproductive Capabilities Configurer mod and any pregnancy mod RCC conflicts with - I'm thinking I'll make a plugin for RCC that people can use instead once the set's been released."

Though of course, I'm not sure where Midge left off on her own plans after Teas were initially released, as Teas (and upcoming potions) use the same controller files.

It DOES APPEAR that we have some alternate files for jealousy that accounted for her Romantic Standards however. Those can be released with the next potion/tea update.

Are there videos on youtube showing all the process of each set? I think that would be so helpful. English isn't my first language and sometimes even with the manual is hard for me to undersand all the steps I need to follow to produce my stuff. It would be nice to actually see it happening on someone's game. Please please please. I LOVE YOUR CC! Thanks for everything!

Videos by us, no. Videos by others...we've seen a few reviews, and some simmers actively using mods during their playthroughs but nothing instructional really.

Instructional videos from us are unlikely to happen, as we spend so much time on the coding and manual as it is. Anyone else is free to make how to videos though.

Hi, im trying to edit the harvest times of the berry bushes with no success. I tried editing the BCON that says it edits harvest times. I also made sure to commit the changes before closing, and opened the file to check. What am I doing wrong?. And I want to say thank you for creating such awesome mods, you have changed the game for me.

Did you buy new bushes, save and exit the lot, and come back? Usually after such a change, you need to buy a new version to get the changes to start.

Hey! I've just been trying out Loads O Laundry 2.0, its amazing, thank you! I happened to also be trying out some other new mods at the same time, one being Gardening and Cleaning Duties by jonasn on MTS, which adds a clean up self interaction where sims will chain cleaning interactions, but with this they ignored the dirty wash piles. I asked jonasn and they said "The cleanable object has to have function "clean" defined in OBJf, and it must have a check tree..." would synergy be possible? Ty!

When we look at the laundry files again (not planning to until the next round of translation files are in), we can see if that's possible.

So, we don''t normally address what people are saying over at other places that we don't frequent, because, ya know: we don't go there. But seeing as how this is a bit of a Thing rn, especially in Sims 4 circles:

No, - reddit user concerned about Sun&Moon laundry being a Trojan - Laundry is not a Trojan nor are any of our other sets. I have no idea why Windows Defender would flag it as one, but rest assured: we are not adding malware or other malicious content into our files. Why would we ruin our work like that? The latest update was a legit update. No Trojans added, just Brazilian Portuguese.

Also, for anyone opening up threads about Sun&Moon stuff on reddit or MTS or anywhere that we generally don't hang out at: you are gonna get much better support by just asking us directly. We do not bite. Seriously, I cannot stress this enough: You will not get good support for our mods by posting on sims subreddits. There is the Keep, there is Discord, there is Tumblr. If your objects are flashing blue, consider downloading our essentials from the Quickstart Guide first.

This was phased out. The Fresh Outfit model and texture was updated to something more "time period generic". The laundry post has been edited, thanks for reminding us.

This set now requires the Timeout controller

Accessories & Tools - Optimization update March 11 2024

Hello everyone, a small update today. A number of inventory tools and accessories have been optimized. At the moment of writing, the updated accessories have not been added to the sets they belong to, but as we continue updating, we will include these new versions, of course.

Changelog:

Texture optimization for a large number of files, bringing the total file size for tools + accessories down by about 10 MB

The small harvest basket has been repositoried to the regular harvest basket.

Fixed incorrect descriptions for a number of inventory tools

BONUS: The butter churn pole has been localized in Dutch, Portuguese (EU & BR), French, Spanish, Russian, Polish and Finnish. Call it a preview for the upcoming dairy consolidation.

Servos should now be able to automatically pick up and store laundry in hampers when they go on a cleaning binge. Thanks to @zeussims for reporting!

Update instructions: For Brazilian Portuguese games: remove ALL old files. For all other languages: replace the hampers as well as the wet and dirty laundry piles. In case of doubt: replace everything.

Hi, I hope all is well! I love your laundry mod, and I've seen some laundry objects I'd like to convert from TS4 in order to have a variety of detergents in my game to stock in my stores. Would it be okay if I create other variations of the bottle and box of detergent ONLY for my personal use? I read your policy, but I still wanted to ask for your permission. If the answer is yes, how can I get the object to function the same as your laundry bottle and box? If it's no, I understand. Thank you!

Creating new detergents that function as part of the laundry system is tricky and requires modifying and adding quite a few resources across quite a lot of objects. It's a very time-consuming process and not exactly something we would recommend someone unfamiliar with the code to do. All the parts are connected and it's easy enough to break something if you're not sure what you're doing. Heck, even when you do know what you're doing, you can still break it (as last update showed did happen). Something that may work better for you, is making mesh/texture defaults of any detergents you do not use. Simple enough: replace the mesh/texture bits, fix integrity, save and re-compressorize.

As a side-note: Making edits for personal use is totally okay in all cases. Just be aware that by modifying the files, you are voiding our warranty (BCON tuning does not count).

Not sure if it is a bug or feature but when I harvest a wild berry bush from a community lot, it does not go in the sim's inventory. Baskets and snacks work.

Am I missing something?

Are you playing on a owned community lot, if so it may be being given to the lot owners inventory rather than the sims doing the harvesting.

Hello! I am using the laundry mod in a house of supernatural creatures, where the maid is Bonehilda, that is, a disguised servo. My question is: according to the mod's documentation, the service npcs, maid, butler, etc... will collect the piles of dirty clothes autonomously, but the servo completely ignores them. Is this like that or is something wrong with my game?

Servo's do not currently automatically pick up or deposit laundry. It will be added in an update. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
