The more my fyp gets more and more about Palestine, the more I genuinely wonder if people are siding with isnotreal to be different. Like there's no fucking way that in this day and age, where you have all the knowledge in the world at your fingertips, you STILL decide to support isnoreal, and it's disgusting propaganda. I bet at least 20% percent of them are just 'pick me's' and trying to be different.

I saw a video talking about Latinos with indigenous descent standing with Palestine because they understand what Palestine is going through and I'd like to add it.

Every Punjabi, from India and Pakistan, understands what it feels like to be invaded, to have to pack their bags in the middle of the night and leave behind their generations of history to flee, to have to travel hundreds of miles across borders and trains to reach safety. To have Western forces play puppets with our government to fulfill their greedy white wants. It is because of this that I will not stay silent the same thing happens to Palestinians. It is in our blood to speak out against oppressors and give a voice to the voiceless but regardless of that, anyone with a heart would stand with Palestine.

I urge anyone who sees this to educate themselves on Palestine, to see that this is not 'complicated', this is not a 'conflict', this is genocide. Israel just recently hit a hospital on Oct 17 that has been standing since before 'the state of Israel' was even created. Palestinian media was filled to the brim with videos and images of dismembered bodies, orphaned children, and parents sobbing as identified their dead children while Israeli media was talking about making gluten-free bread for their soldiers. This is why it is important to speak out about what is happening, to support Palestinians, to boost and uplift their voices, and to document the dead so that they aren't forgotten. It can be as small as liking or reblogging a post, please do not stay slient.

Normally, I don't post any of my political opinions or views but this isn't an opinion, it's a fact.

- Israel has held illegal occupation of Palestine for over 55 years

- There have been over 6,407 Palestinian fatalities and 152,560 Palestinian injuries since 2008

- In 1948, 700,000 Palestinians turned into refugees overnight as a result of the Nakba (catastrophe) when their ancestral land became the 'State of Israel'.

- Palestine remains as the world's longest unsolved refugee crisis

- Israel has and is currently committing war crimes. Israel has said that they will grant the people of Gaza food, water, electricity, etc. if Hamas leaves, and if they don't, they will continue to cut access to their necessities. This is the textbook definition of collective punishment, a war crime.

- Palestine is one of the most densely populated places in the world, with a population of 2.2 million people, 54% of whom are children.

- Israel ordered 1.1 million civilians to evacuate to the south and then bombed the evacuation route and the only gate out.

- Israel has bombed hospitals, residential buildings, landmarks, schools, ambulances and targeted paramedics and healthcare workers

To deny facts is to deny the critical thinking skills that humanity worked hard to achieve through centuries of evolution. Accept the fact that many news circuits are broadcasting whatever Israel tells them and instead support Palestinian voices and share them. You don't have to be Muslim to side with Palestine, you just have to be human.
