if i were to describe helaena's eye color, i would say it's cornflower. like the illustration on her wiki page. i'd say it suits her a lot, to have a sort of dreamy blueish purple color to her eyes.

gonna work on alicent’s verses when i get home. it won’t be much but they’re timelines that i’m open to exploring with her

- au where she ignores viserys babble on his deathbed, therefore lets rhaenyra get crowned (tho i’m sure the small council would’ve usurped her anyway)

- au where she can’t bring herself to entertain viserys after the death of aemma and he remains unmarried / she goes back to oldtown perhaps

- regency au for funsies (feel free to invade my dms and plot about it with me)

i often bounce between show and book alicent, more obviously show. for the reason why alicent wanted her son on the throne, i'm crossed. in show verse, she truly thinks v.iserys meant a.egon on his deathbed. and when she tells o.tto, i headcanon that her small smile is an 'of course he told that to only me and then died. of course'.

however, i headcanon that book verse alicent just didn't think r.haenyra deserved it + overall bitterness. v.iserys being against his own wife (thinking she was just out for herself) + favoring his first daughter over all of his other children fueled her bitterness towards her stepdaughter. it fueled enough hatred in her that she left him on his deathbed for days after he died.
