(Thoughts on how the vampires sleep:
Dracula always has to have his coffin and it always has to have a bit of dirt in it from the grounds of his castle in Transylvania. Doesnā€™t matter where he is or who heā€™s with, thatā€™s just how it has to be. Why? A couple of reasons. One, I headcanon him as being Autistic (Iā€™m Autistic, too!) and we like our routines. That coffin with dirt in it has been part of Vladā€™s routine for centuries; he never goes anywhere without it. Two, itā€™s a source of physical comfort. He loves small, dark spaces where he can hide away from the rest of the world and overstimulation. Itā€™s his safe space. Three, itā€™s a source of emotional comfort. That coffin and the dirt within serve as a reminder of his home and how far heā€™s come, and it helps him feel a little less lost in the world. A little less alone.
Rafael, on the other hand, is a wanderer and a bard; he canā€™t very well carry a coffin on his back wherever he goes, and doesnā€™t really feel like hypnotizing his own personal moving crew. Generally, when dawn approaches, he takes refuge in an inn, makes sure to (temporarily) seal and/or cover the windows, flops into a nice, comfy bed, and is out cold in like two seconds (I am legit so jealous of this manā€¦.heā€™s nocturnal and STILL has a better sleeping schedule than me!). Failing that, if heā€™s nowhere near civilization, heā€™ll build a shelter large and sturdy enough to keep the sun off of him until dusk, but heā€™s not exactly enthusiastic about it.)

Doctor Jack ā€œInvisible Manā€ Griffin
Tumblr media

Gender: Cis Male
Sexuality: Straight
Age: 27 (verse dependent)
Appearance: Piercing blue eyes, strong square jaw, handsome face, short blond hair, muscular build, 5'10", usually goes for a classy semi-casual look when he isnā€™t at work. Button-up shirts worn open at the collar, black or blue jeans, black cowboy boots.
FC: Dacre Montgomery
Personality: Eccentric, charming, quick to anger, volatile, violent, arrogant, ambitious. He fully believes that he is a scientific genius, and while he isnā€™t entirely wrong, he often forgets that he is not always the smartest person in the room. Money is also highly important to him.
Goals: To prove himself in the scientific community, to come up with an invisibility formula that the U.S. military will pay him a fortune for.
Strengths/Powers: Highly intelligent, silver tongue, decent physical strength, an experienced brawler, quick thinker and problem solver, determination, can become invisible after injecting himself with the serum he invented.
Weaknesses: His own ego, his short fuse and reckless attitude, the fact that he has to remove any clothing that isnā€™t skintight in order to be completely invisible, the fact that his serum makes his temper and mental state even more volatile than they already are, his workaholic nature, the fact that he is totally blind to his own mortality.
Likes: Rum, tequila, women, power, classic muscle cars, AC/DC, being away from his father, his fiancee Flora(verse/thread dependent)
Dislikes: His father, car thieves, mobsters, bigots, people who underestimate him, being told that he canā€™t do something/that he has limitations.
Languages: English, rudimentary German
Background: Jacobi Edmund Griffin was born in the fall of 1995 to a deadbeat thief and hardworking woman who left by the time he was five. Jackā€™s father was in and out of jobs, mostly relying on petty crimes to keep a roof over their heads, food on their table, and gas in their car. Jack focused intensely on his academic career, showing signs of genius level intellect at a very early age. He graduated high school at 15 with honors, and was offered a full ride scholarship to the University of Queensland, where he got his doctorate in biomedical science. While he was in his late teens, his father informed him that they would no longer have to worry about money troubles. They were rich! Everything was finally coming up roses for the Griffins, and his father proved it by buying him his dream car, a midnight blue 1979 Chevrolet Camaro, as a belated graduation present. Jack was ecstatic, of course, but something in the back of his keen yet cynical mind told him that it was too good to be true. After about a month of mulling it over, he finally decided to ask his father where exactly heā€™d gotten the money from. That turned out to be one of the worst days of his life. His father deflected, at first, demanding to know why it was so important, but Jack kept pushing and pushing until his father confessed that heā€™d made the money by selling stolen cars for parts. It was his last job. He promised! But that wasnā€™t good enough for Jack, who had grown up loathing his fatherā€™s criminal activity and wanted desperately to believe that heā€™d finally gone straight. The two got into a massive fight, throwing punches, shoving each other around, destroying furniture, with Jackā€™s father calling him an ungrateful brat and throwing him up against a wall. It should have ended there, but Jack refused to go down, leading his father to come at him with a knife. There was a scuffle, a lot of blood, and even more chaos. By the end of it, both men were injured really badly, but Jack was the one who was able to call for an ambulance. Both were taken to the nearest hospital. Jack survived. His father did not. The teen was not charged, as all the evidence clearly pointed to him having to defend himself, but there was a grueling investigation that eventually led to his fatherā€™s house and both cars being seized by the state, and Jack being sent to live with his estranged mother since he was 17 and still technically a minor. As soon as he was physically able, he threw himself into his studies at the university harder than he ever had before, leading his mother to admire his intellect and work ethic and regret leaving him with his father. In Jackā€™s eyes, that was too little too late, but he was never outwardly hostile toward her about it. Over the next few years, he completed his PhD, becoming the youngest graduate in his class and immediately looking for work both near home and abroad. He landed several decent jobs in and around Brisbane, working in state of the art labs with many accredited scientists, but none of them would take him seriously, despite his outstanding achievements, due to his age. Fed up with the politics and discrimination, Jack turned his efforts to finding opportunities outside of Australia. It wasnā€™t long before he was hired on by an American company that was handling a few military contracts, applied for a work visa, and flown out to Boston to begin his new career. Things were finally taking off for him, it seemed. His coworkers saw his talent and intelligence and treated him as an equal, which made him even more eager to prove himself. At 26, he was put in charge of one of the most top secret projects the military had entrusted to Wells Biotechnologies: a serum that would allow operatives to become totally invisible for a short time. Needless to say, Jack was thrilled beyond belief, and got to work on it right away. At first, he did some research into various biological methods of camouflage, but quickly realized that the genetic modifications necessary to make that possible in humans would be far too invasive and risky. He then turned his attention to something called a refraction index, which he found could be changed with the right amount and method of chemical convincing. His research eventually led him to experiment with various anesthetics in combination with other chemicals, trying drug after drug, combo after combo, and getting little to no results. The military wasnā€™t happy with the lack of progress. After only a year, they pulled Jackā€™s funding, but he still refused to give up. When he wasnā€™t working on the projects that were still approved or dodging hushed underhanded comments, he was sequestered away in his lab, continuing his experiments off the books. Fueled by spite, very little sleep, and what few meals he remembered to consume, the young scientist worked tirelessly to find his perfect formula. Monocaine, he finally discovered one particularly grueling night, was the key. It was a particularly strong local anesthetic that worked remarkably well with the refraction-altering chemicals in such a way that made them compatible with human cells, even affecting fabric worn tight to the skin. Not wanting to risk asking for permission to start human testing and getting rejected, Jack tested the serum on himself. It worked beautifullyā€¦aside from the fact that he felt a bit less in control of himself than normal. It was almost like being high, or what he guessed being high might have felt like, having never tried recreational drugs before. It was bizarre, and he noted that he felt strangely numb all over. All of his findings were written down in his journal, including the fact that it wore off after about two hours. The after effects were much less pleasant. Heā€™d been hungover maybe a couple of times in his life, and this was at least twice as bad. Nausea, a splitting headache that nearly made him want to cry, light and sound sensitivity, aching muscles, and insurmountable fatigue pretty much summed up his symptoms, and he wisely determined that sleeping in his office would be a much better idea than trying to make it back to his apartment. The next morning, he was much better off, though his head still hurt. Another couple weeks of nightly testing followed before he finally worked up the courage to tell his superiors. He did his best to make his case, but they refused to hear him out, no matter how much proof he showed them of his success. He had used company resources without permission and stayed on the clock for far longer than he was supposed to; he was lucky they didnā€™t suspended. Angry and heartbroken, Jack jumped to his last resort, taking out a syringe of the serum that he had gradually become addicted to and injecting himself with it. They were stunned to see him becoming invisible right before their eyes, and when they recovered enough from their shock to try and catch him, he ran, evading them almost effortlessly and taunting them as he went. It became a sort of game for him. He loved watching them squirm, loved seeing their alarm at being proven wrong by a man twenty or thirty years their junior. It was electrifying. The possibilities of what all he could do with serum also began to turn over in his brain. He wouldnā€™t have to wait for a payout from the military if he was able to just grab the money for himself without anyone being able to see him. He could also try going into private detective work, chasing after details that no visible person would be able to get near. The world was his oyster!

Adam
Cursed LoZ: TotK Contraption | @handful-of-muses
Adam is both a gentle soul and incredibly violent when provoked. As such, he would probably become vengeful enough toward the bokoblins to build some sort of war machine to take down those big rocky dudes that they ride around on now. In fact, Iā€™m willing to bet that he builds his own big rocky dude. Something akin to what Inigo, Westley, and Fezzik came up with to storm the castle in Princess Bride, but somehow both more and less unhinged.
Essentially, he would mash a bunch of rocks together to create a menacing and vaguely humanoid shape that is at least three times Linkā€™s size. Then he would assemble a self powered cart out of whatever wood and wheels he can find and as many fans as it takes to move the whole thing. Next, he would attach his rock creature to it, cover the entire thing in bomb barrels, and send it on its way to take down the big stone beastie.
Is it in any way practical?
No.
Have I tested it at all to see if it would actually work?
No. (Itā€™s my brotherā€™s game, and he gets territorial.)
Would it be spectacular to watch?
Abso-fucking-lutely! Victor would be both proud and utterly horrified! :D šŸ˜ˆ

Rafael, what are some ways a partner can make you feel safe and comfortable with them?
Question Time! | Anon
Tumblr media
ā€œI donā€™t necessarily need to feel safe. I like a bit of danger, keeps things lively. As for comfortā€¦I would say communication helps a lot. Especially with mortal partners. I want to keep them safe, you know, I donā€™t want them to get hurt. They need to tell me if something Iā€™m doing is too much for them to handle, or if Iā€™m making them uncomfortable. However, thatā€™s a two way street. I expect them to listen to me as well. Thereā€™s a difference between being a brat or dom and being totally inconsiderate. You shouldnā€™t automatically expect me to give you what you want just because Iā€™m a performer; Iā€™m not that compliant. Oh, and the more you treat me like a lesser being because of my profession, the more defiant Iā€™ll act, partially out of self respect and partially because itā€™s fun to watch you squirm.ā€

Brad
James
Jordan
Two relationship headcanons per āœæ | @handful-of-muses
Brad -
1. Vlad trusts Brad far more than Brad trusts him; he knows by now how noble Brad is.
2. Billy is equally as jealous of Brad as he is attracted to him. He wishes he could be that good of a person, and that put together. Itā€™s because of this that Billy finally starts going to the gym regularly after they reconnect.
James -
1. Fausto is entirely devoted to James, but he is unwilling to break up his loveā€™s- his kingā€™s marriage. Duty comes first, sadly. However, if Cyrus is willing to either share or take him on as another partner, he would not be opposed to the idea of a throuple.
2. Vlad likes when James takes control. Makes him feel young again. Thereā€™s just something about that handsome, open face that weakens his defenses, and he doesnā€™t hate it.
Jordan -
1. Rafaelā€™s nickname for him is ā€˜Mein Kƶnigā€™, or ā€˜My Kingā€™, but he doesnā€™t start calling him that until the first time they sleep together, and he never uses it in public.
2. It doesnā€™t necessarily matter how rough Jordan gets with him, as long as he isnā€™t actively trying to kill him; Rafael will always be relatively gentle with his mortal patron. Partially because he doesnā€™t want to hurt the man, but mostly because thatā€™s one of his ways of teasing. Kill him with kindness, as they always say. He does genuinely care on some level, though, and that only grows as time goes on.

Truth Serum | @handful-of-muses
(Listenā€¦I love this, and I would love to answer fully, but I have a ton of muses and not a lot of brain power. Iā€™ll have the loudest ones answer for now, if thatā€™s okay. šŸ˜–)
Rafael: ā€œIā€™m usually fairly dominant, but the few times Iā€™ve let someone tie me down have been quite enjoyable. I like not being in control on occasion, as long as Iā€™m with someone I trust.ā€
Dorian: ā€œKnifeplay. Iā€™d rather feel pain than nothing at all, but itā€™s even more fun if Iā€™m the one with the knife. How much faith does my partner have in me not to just gut them? How much can they endure?ā€ Yeah, heā€™s a fuckin sadist, bro. šŸ˜ˆ
Fausto: ā€œI like to be teased. Physically, I mean. Please donā€™t mess with my mind! Mark me up, touch me, grope me, do everything you can to rile me up before you finally fuck me. I can handle a lot.ā€
Dracula: ā€œOnly one?ā€ He smirks, thinking for a moment. ā€œVery well then. Sensory deprivation would be fun to try. My vision and hearing are extremely sensitive, and Iā€™ve often wondered how it might feel to not have them at my disposal in an intimate setting.ā€

Powers/Abilities: hypnotic gaze, silver tongue, shapeshifting (bat, wolf, or mist), superhuman speed/agility/strength, telepathy, vampiric bite, immortality, eternal youth, can scale vertical surfaces and ceilings without being affected by gravity, adept swordfighter, plays the lute, flute, and bagpipes, sings brilliantly.
Weaknesses: Holy water, crosses and other non-satanic holy symbols, running water, sunlight, fire, stake to the heart, cannot enter someoneā€™s residence without invitation, must feed on human blood at least once every few nights (he can sustain himself on animal blood, but must do so far more often), not very studious (though he can read multiple languages), bad at math.

Backstory: Rafael grew up in an orphanage in the mid-1400ā€™s. From a young age, he was well known amongst his peers for being a born entertainer, always coming up with wild stories and singing songs of great battles. At fourteen, he decided to appease his restless heart by taking his talents to the streets to try and earn some money. Traveling from village to village, he made quite a name for himself. People would always toss him a spare coin or two when they heard him play, if they had it, and by the time he was twenty, he could afford most any comfortable accommodations. Life was good!
Or so he thought. The more he traveled, however, the more he saw how naĆÆve heā€™d been. In the villages closer to the border, poverty and corruption and lawlessness were far more evident, and only made worse by sporadic raids from Ottoman invaders. Rafael found himself called to learn how to wield a sword and shield just as expertly as he wielded his silver tongue. His sense of justice prompted him to train day in and day out, which payed off when the time finally came for him to fend off his first real adversary: a city guard with a penchant for abusing power in various ways. The guard took offense to one of his songs and challenged him to a duel, only for Rafael to defeat him soundly, proving his natural talent with a blade. From there, his skills only improved, but the dangers he faced also increased exponentially. He kept traveling, fighting in more battles against raiding parties and marauders than he could keep count of, defending civilians and nobles alike to the best of his abilities.
(Not finished, but Iā€™m publishing now before I forget. Iā€™ll add more later)

(Spoilers ahead for all Scream movies, and a TW for graphic descriptions of murder!)
Background: Born and raised in Woodsboro, California, Billy Loomis was fairly well-off for the first sixteen years of his life. His dad was tough on him, but his mother made up for it by doting on him constantly. They weren't exactly rich, but they lived comfortably, and Billy never wanted for anything that wasn't totally extravagant. He was one of the first kids on his block to get a cellphone, which gained him more independence than he could have ever imagined, and was well on his way to earning himself a car. He also had the privilege of being one of the most attractive boys in school once he reached high school, alongside his best friend, Stu Macher, and it wasn't long before he had girls falling for him left, right, and center. Sidney was different. She was shy and relatively quiet, but not a pushover, and while he liked experimenting with any girls or occasionally guys who would have him, she sparked a different kind of fire in him. She resisted at first, of course, but eventually, Billy's efforts to be at least a little more open with her paid off, and they began dating officially in their sophomore year. He took his time with her. Tried to be patient with her and considerate of her needs, but raging hormones and his chaotic nature led him to stray more often than he would like to admit. She never caught him, and he honestly dreaded what would happen if she did. At the start of their junior year, Billy's life got more and more tumultuous. His parents had begun fighting more often, getting into screaming matches when they thought he was upstairs, asleep. He was motivated to sneak out most nights, seeking either Sidney or Stu for companionship. They were his safe haven. His normality. And he clung to them for dear life. A month or two after the fighting started, his mother left, abandoning him to his father's 'care'. Billy was shattered. He drifted into October, quiet and hollow, mourning the loss of the one adult who he thought cared about him. He tried to hide it, cover the hole in his heart with sarcasm and jokes, and Sidney and her family helped him a lot. He spent more time at their house than at his own. It wasn't until he caught (then unrecognizable to him) Roman Bridger sneaking around outside the Prescott residence that he finally found an outlet for his rage. He pulled out his hunting knife, intending to kill what he thought was a burglar and keep him from invading the home, but Roman was quick to explain himself and show the videos he'd taken of Maureen meeting with her lovers, including Cotton Weary and, much to Billy's dismay and rage, Hank Loomis. Roman saw the anger and hatred rapidly growing in the boy's heart, and used it to his advantage, convincing Billy to help him kill Mrs. Prescott and fostering his desire for revenge. They enlisted the help of Stu Macher, who kept watch while they did the deed, and made sure to frame Cotton for her murder, given that he'd slept with her earlier that night. Sidney, having been woken up by her mother's screaming, very nearly caught Billy, but he had taken the precaution of wearing Cotton's jacket and was too quick for her, ensuring that she never saw his face. Roman escaped out the back with Stu, never to be seen in Woodsboro again, while Billy beat a hasty retreat out the front. He was never the same after that night.
Scream -
A lust for blood had developed, and while he tried to ignore it for the majority of the following year, sleeping around just didn't have the same appeal as ripping out someone's insides. The longer he stayed with Sidney to keep up appearances, watching her grieve and retreat into herself, the more frustrated he became. He confided in Stu, who had been dumped not long before the start of senior year, and found that his friend actually echoed his sentiments with even more vigor. The two concocted a plan. They would start with Stu's ex and her new boytoy before moving on to attack Sidney after kidnapping her dad, aiming to implicate him for the murders. The calls they made to intimidate their victims would be made with Neil Prescott's cellular phone, as well. Sidney was not supposed to survive the first attack, but she was too quick, agile, and resourceful for Stu to catch and kill her, so he called an audible and bailed out, intending to tag Billy in to kill her. Billy came up with a much more devious plan. He climbed up to her bedroom window and dropped in to comfort his terrified girlfriend, only to very intentionally drop his own cell phone in order to implicate himself and instill doubt in her, messing with her head. Even when he was arrested, he knew the calls couldn't be traced back to his phone, and he'd ordered Stu to call her while he was locked up to further prove his innocence. She never fully trusted him after that, which was both exhilarating and extremely frustrating. The attack at the school was another ploy to further terrify her, with the murder of the principal being an added bonus. Stu's party that night became their next main event. Billy showed up to try and reconcile with Sidney while Stu cleared out most of his guests, having already killed Tatum in the garage, but he was genuinely surprised when Sidney expressed a desire to finally sleep with him. As they were getting dressed afterward, Stu (dressed as Ghostface) attacked him from behind and stabbed him with a fake knife, then chased Sidney out of the room. Everything after that was sort of a blur. Randy wasn't supposed to still be there. Neither were Dewey and Gail Weathers. Stu also wasn't supposed to leave Dewey's gun unattended after they'd finally revealed themselves and their plan to Sidney. They weren't supposed to die, damn it, but they did, and Billy's last thought before his consciousness was ripped away by the bullet between his eyes was that he would haunt her for the rest of her life.
Verses:
V; main - takes place during the course of the movie, with Billy actively concealing the fact that he is half of Ghostface. He's 18, but I would prefer not to write smut with him.
V; ghost - takes place after the events of the movie. Billy is a vengeful ghost, aiming to haunt Sidney and torment her endlessly, but things change when he finds out that he has a daughter. He switches his focus to watching over Sam, keen to find out just how alike they might turn out to be. He's incredibly proud of her, regretting that his efforts to reach out to her after she discovers her true parentage come off as being scary or malicious. Then again, he himself is scary and malicious most of the time. He's only able to communicate with her via her reflection, which is irritating, but he can work with it when she lets him. When Richie and Amber turn out to be murderous copycat assholes, Billy becomes Sam's biggest cheerleader, urging her to give them hell in disturbing fashion. He does the same when the bloodletting starts up a year later in New York.
V; modern 1 - AU where Billy survived the party and escaped after Stu accidentally stabbed him with the real knife instead of the fake one, leaving Stu to take the wrap for the Ghostface murders and be killed by Sidney. He quickly set his sights on finding out who his other accomplice in Maureen's murder was, blaming the mystery man for turning his heart black and bloodthirsty. Digging around turned nothing up for about a year, and spurred on by the release of the first Stab movie, Billy made his way to Hollywood, hoping to bullshit his way into getting a job doing FX makeup in horror films. Given his natural charm and improvised skill, it worked beautifully. He was hired on at Sunrise Studios. From there, his goal was much easier to achieve, and he even discovered some interesting secrets about his boss along the way. And Maureen Prescott, who apparently had a brief stint in Hollywood under an assumed name before fleeing back to Woodsboro. The rumor mill eventually led to him discovering what had most likely driven away, of course. He almost felt bad for killing her then. Almost. Even made a note to end John Milton for what he did to her, but not before he caught his true prize. Meanwhile, he kept working on small projects here and there, living paycheck to paycheck. Surviving. In the year 2000, he finally got his first big break: working as one of the FX makeup artists on Stab 3. The irony of it all absolutely delighted him, of course, but not nearly as much as meeting the director, Roman Bridger. His target. Little did he know, Roman had another dastardly plot of his own already in the works. Billy was the one who found Sarah's mangled body in the costume closet, and his rage toward Roman only grew hotter and more intense. He began to hunt the man down, only to be thwarted at every turn by the director's own clever machinations. Sidney showing up also threw a wrench into his plans. She couldn't die. Not yet. Not by any hand but his, either. Thrilling hijinks ensued, ultimately leading to Billy helping Sidney corner Roman in the secret room in Milton's house and teaming up with her to kill him, despite Roman insisting that Billy helped kill her mother. Afterward, his bloodlust was unexpectedly sated and replaced with immense guilt. When Sidney asked him if any of Roman's accusations were true, he confessed to everything, and was soon arrested on murder charges. Takes place mostly during Scream 3.
V; modern 2 - Ten years after Billy's arrest, he is called upon by Dewey Riley and offered a deal: if he helps solve the most recent string of Ghostface murders in Woodsboro, he has a chance of getting out on extremely high bail. Deciding that it's better than the death sentence he was waiting on, the thirty-two-year-old former serial killer takes the deal, agreeing to an interview with Gail Weathers about his methods and motives after a decade of resisting her, but stating curtly, "If this shit ends up in another one of your damn books, I'm fucking suing your ass." The interview is naturally very illuminating, but doesn't prevent the next victim from being thrown off the roof of a parking garage. Billy jokes that they should let him out for a bit, asking, "Why not loose your hound? After all, no one knows better how to hunt a couple of killers than another killer." Dewey grudgingly takes the suggestion seriously, sending Billy with Deputies Hoss and Perkins on their stakeout. He, of course, finds a way to escape the back of the car the second the pair leave him unattended, and manages to save Perkins's life as a result, nearly strangling Ghostface from behind with his handcuffs. Their scuffle resulted in Billy taking Ghostface down, only to be stabbed in the leg after calling them pipsqueak, and Ghostface barely managing to get away, chased off by gunshots from Perkins. Billy vents that he's alright, just pissed at being bested by, at his best estimate, a teenaged girl, revealing valuable information to the Deputy. He begs Dewey for another shot at catching Ghostface, trying to hide his thirst for vengeance behind an earnest desire to prove that he's changed. Dewey agrees to one more chance before he's locked up again. Billy hypothesizes that Ghostface is likely to strike next at a party of some kind, and given that the night is young, he and Perkins troll through local neighborhoods, searching for any leads. By sheer luck, they spot Sidney running after her sister's murder, and when she tells them about the after party at Kirby's house, they give her a ride, with Billy insisting that at least one Ghostface is probably already there. He initially suspects Kirby. While Sidney knocks on the front door, Billy sneaks around back with Perkins. They catch Ghostface in the act of attempting to kill Robbie. Perkins shoots and misses several times, driving Ghostface to run off again, only to be attacked from behind by the second Ghostface, who has just finished attacking Kirby. Billy grabs Robbie and runs, but shouts at the boy to get the fuck out of dodge when the first Ghostface catches up to them. He and Ghostface fight, and Billy taunts her by revealing that he knows she's Jill, but ultimately loses and is nearly stabbed to death. He's brought to the hospital and wakes up from a coma a week later to find out that he's been released from his prison sentence, and thus starts a brand new chapter in his life. Takes place during Scre4m.
V; modern 3 - After aiding in the apprehension of three Ghostfaces, Billy begins to think he has a knack for this shit and takes steps to become a private investigator and detective consultant. He also finally finds out that Sam Carpenter is his daughter, and tries his best to be a positive influence in her life. However, his chaotic nature and vengeful tendencies make him volatile, and he often goes beyond the law to apprehend his targets before the police can. He and Dewey butt heads a lot. Barely talks to Sidney because that's how she wants it and he doesn't blame her. Takes place any time after Scre4m.

Languages: Romanian, Hungarian, German, Russian, English, and French.
Background: The young son of an infamous warlord, Vlad grew up amidst both the turmoil of war and the privilege of aristocracy. He was first in line for his fatherā€™s throne, and made every effort to ready himself for the responsibility, though his precocious and flirtatious nature rendered him an insufferable youth in the minds of most others. He was an arrogant lad to be sure, but he carried his motherā€™s compassion in his heart and knew how to appeal to his subjects with ease. It seemed that he was much softer than his father, utterly naive to the horrors of the world outside of the palace. He was barely in his twenty-third year when it all came crashing down. Turkish invaders somehow managed to not only breach their borders but completely overwhelm them. His father begrudgingly left him and his mother in charge of fortifying the palace in order to lead the his armies against enemies who outnumbered them by far. Desperate to save his family and homeland and believing them to be forsaken by god, Vlad reached out to the powers of the occult. He was answered by a cunning and bloodthirsty demon, who promised him immortality and ungodly power in exchange for a cost that Vlad was too anguished to hear. The distraught boy accepted without a second thought. He was subsequently transformed into one of the worldā€™s first vampires, cursed to feed on human blood and dwell in the shadows of night for eternity, and was too late to save his father from being slain on the battlefield. Enraged and mourning, the boy set out to exact his revenge, leading a second charge against the invaders under cover of night. It was a bloodbath. Vlad was relentless in unleashing his fury, growing stronger and stronger with every kill, but only realized the true cost of his actions once the Turks finally retreated. When he came back to his senses, Vlad was totally alone in a field full of blood and corpses, Turkish and Transylvanian alike. Stricken with both grief and guilt, the young vampire sank to his knees and wept, lamenting the fact that heā€™d allowed himself to become such a monster, only to realize that dawn would soon be approaching and that he still had to return to the palace to break the news to his mother. When he arrived, he found the whole place ransacked and abandoned, smelling of gruesome death. A troupe of invaders had gotten past his father, unbeknownst to Vlad, and made to lay waste to the palace. His mother and many of her handmaidens and other servants managed to fight them off, at the cost of their own lives. Those who survived had fled into the night, believing their home to be no longer theirs. In the midst of his despair, Vlad could not honestly say that he blamed them, but he could not bring himself to do the same. He slept through the day, tormented by horrific dreams, and set about burying them in the catacombs by night, feeding off the blood of rats to sustain himself until the work was done, at which point he condemned himself to sleep for the rest of eternity. That, he believed, was an apt punishment for his crimes.
-Meeting Frankenstein-
In the late 1700ā€™s, Vlad was awakened by an odd yet familiar scent. One that hadnā€™t reached his nostrils in several centuries. Living human blood. It smelled so sweet, so incredibly enticing. Calling to him like a siren, it drew the starved vampire from his slumber, and all he could think about was drinking that hapless mortal dry, which he did with little to no remorse. Grief, sleep, and insatiable thirst had driven most of his morals away, leaving a cunning predator in their wake. That explorer wasnā€™t the last to wander into his castle, and with each one after him, Draculaā€™s strength and reputation grew and grew, until one fateful night. The moment Victor Frankenstein stepped foot into his palace, Vlad could smell the death on him, and that in itself intrigued the vampire enough to refrain from attacking him right away. A look into his mind revealed both intelligence and tragedy, guilt and rage, ambition and anguish. A brilliant scientist who had lost his way and his family all before turning twenty, now nearing thirty and chasing after a monster of his own creation. An interesting mortal full to the brim with potential. It was easy for Dracula to manipulate him, befriend him, offer him shelter, food, and a sympathetic ear to listen to his plight. He allowed Victor to stay in his otherwise empty castle for about a week before offering to aid him in his search for the Creature. Desperate and nearly defeated, the young man accepted readily, and the two set off the following evening, with Dracula explaining that he was far more comfortable traveling by night than by day. Victor, of course, did not question it. Their search eventually led them up to the Arctic, following a path of destruction and terrified rumors to the lumbering monster himself. Victor, however, had apparently lost the heart to kill the beast, having realized that he was to blame for creating and then abandoning him, which consequently threw a wrench into Draculaā€™s plans to turn him and take control of the creature. He apologized instead, begging the Creature for forgiveness and finally giving him the name Adam. Disgusted by the show of what he viewed to be weakness, and irritated by the change of heart, Dracula showed his true colors and punished Victor by attacking him, only for Adam to fly into a rage and attempt to defend his creator. The pair of undead waged bloody battle against each other while Victor watched in horror and slowly bled out on the ice. Adam quickly claimed victory when he broke the ice beneath Draculaā€™s feet, sending him plunging into frigid briny deep. The free flowing water burned the vampire, rendering him catatonic and trapped beneath arctic floes. That should have been the end of him, but thanks to some far too kind fishermen who pulled him out of the ice less than a month later, it was not. After draining them of their blood, he enthralled their captain and forced the man to ferry him back to the nearest European port, and from there made the harrowing journey by night back to his home in the Carpathians, where he remained in isolation for another century. Aside from his victims and those he chose to turn into the beginnings of his vampire army, Dracula allowed himself to keep no company. Victorā€™s betrayal burned him worse than any holy water could, and he couldnā€™t risk something like that happening again. It was a lonely existence, but a necessary one.
-Journeying to England-
He did not quite realize just how lonely he was until the turn of a new century crept up on him, the late 1800ā€™s bringing with them the wake of the Industrial Revolution and a need for Vlad to find a way to escape his solitary gilded cage. He reached out with his telepathic abilities, past the borders of Romania, as far as he could. Though it strained his mind, he managed to reach England, latching on to the mind of an unassuming real estate agent by the name of Renfield as he tended his garden and compelling him to journey to the palace for a meeting about possibly buying property in London. Renfield agreed and set out for the Carpathians posthaste, eager to close a deal with this mysterious stranger and intrigued by his abilities. Thrilled that his plan was working, Vlad told his fledglings to leave him in peace when his guest arrived; Renfield was meant to be his and his alone. The meeting went splendidly, ending far more amicably than the mortal expected it to. He simply could not reject the rather stunning Countā€™s offer of a room for the night, since it was so late, and a shared meal sounded positively delightful, as did a few celebratory drinks. One thing led to another. A tipsy yet still terribly nervous confession of attraction on Renfieldā€™s part yielded a kiss, which led to another kiss and many more after, and eventually to a passionately shared bed. Renfield woke up the next morning hung over and covered in what he assumed to be love bites, though one on his neck appeared to be excessively painful and red. He paid it no mind. The young Count had simply gotten carried away. They both had. Perhaps the wine had gone to both their heads in equal measure. Why else would such a handsome noble in the prime of his youth take an interest in a mid-thirties pencil pushing sobersides? Heā€™d almost forgotten about the Countā€™s remarkable ability to enter his mind until he heard that sultry voice in the back of his head, sleepily asking him to come back to bed in heavily accented English. It worked like a charm. For a solid week, his days were spent entertaining the lusts of Count Dracula and sleeping in his embrace, and his nights were spent finalizing paperwork, chatting, and sharing meals with the inexplicably enamored young man with the sharp yet dazzling smile. He almost didnā€™t want their time together to end, but if the Count truly was to move to London, then Renfield would have to actually do his job, which would require him to return home and properly file the paperwork so that the property could be made ready to move into. As reluctant as he was to let his new not-quite-mortal pet go so soon, Dracula agreed that it was time to move forward with his plan. The reason why he had subtly turned Renfield into a dhampir in the first place. He needed someone in London to establish a respectable reputation for him, making it easier for him to be invited into peopleā€™s homes for parties and other such events. Easier for him to target the aristocracy and one by one bring them into his fold. Renfield unfortunately was not as emotionally sound as Dracula first thought, and over the course of two years of clandestine communication and manipulation, the dhampir slowly descended into madness due to his growing thirst for blood that he continuously tried in vain to resist. Eventually, Renfield was admitted into an asylum, and Dracula was forced to hire another lawyer to help him finalize his purchase of Carfax Abbey. Enter Jonathan Harker, a bright eyed and highly intelligent young man who was eager to prove himself both to his employers and to his first real client. Harker, as naive as he was, was much harder to seduce than Renfield, as he was already happily engaged, and had an annoying habit of frequently writing letters about his experiences in the castle to his fiancee, Mina. Dracula quickly found himself growing jealous of the strength of their relationship, vowing that he would one day have both of them under his thrall. In the meantime, he did everything he could to try and break Jonathanā€™s resolve without revealing his true nature to the mortal, even going so far as to save him from three female fledglings, regaling him with his impressive historical knowledge, learning how to cook hearty traditional meals, and virtually begging for every bit of knowledge he could get from the man about England. Charming as he was, nothing worked. In fact, he got the feeling that Jonathan was actively trying to pull away from him. That simply would not do. Their business long since concluded, Dracula arranged passage for himself to England and left his castle behind, abandoning Harker to his fledglings. From there, things went far more smoothly. The Count was well received amongst the London elite, and was easily able to keep himself sustained. Lucy Westenra seemed to be an ideal candidate for the inaugural member of his vampiric army in England, and he was able to make his move on her without much trouble, until Jonathan and his blushing bride, who happened to be Lucyā€™s best friend, returned to England with Abraham van Helsing in tow. Ever vengeful, especially after they managed to kill Lucy and keep her from fully turning, Dracula soon set his sights on Mina Harker, determined to use her against Jonathan and his friends. Van Helsing was clever, employing various techniques to ward off Minaā€™s room at the asylum and educating Jonathan, Dr. John Seward, Arthur Holmwood, and Quincey Morris in how to combat vampires. Dracula, however, still had a man on the inside in the spider eating Renfield. He exerted his control over the man once more, using him to let himself into Minaā€™s room and biting her. Believing himself to now have two pawns under his control, Dracula used Mina to taunt Jonathan and the others. He did not, however, count on Renfield being able to find his resolve long enough to be able to betray him to Van Helsing, nor did he account for Jonathan being able to track down his current lairs via the paper trail left by his dealings. When Renfieldā€™s betrayal was revealed to him, he brutally murdered his former lover in a fit of rage, but was soon forced to retreat to his coffin with the coming of the dawn. He wasnā€™t prepared for the assault waged on his estate by Van Helsing and the others. Quincey Morrisā€™s Bowie knife through his chest was a rather rude awakening, and he made damn sure that the mortal cowboy paid for it with his life, only to feel Jonathan Harkerā€™s blade slice across his throat from behind. Hot tears streaked down the vampireā€™s face. It was the first time heā€™d felt so enraged and genuinely terrified since the day his father died in battle, and he was just as doomed as he had been back then. Faced with imminent demise, Vlad did the only thing he could do; he fell. Made them think they had killed him, and relinquished his hold on Mina in order to really sell his performance. It worked. As they worked to build him a funeral pyre, he used what little strength he had left to transform into mist and escape from his locked coffin, hiding himself in the deepest darkest part of his cellar until they were long gone. When dusk settled over England, he left the wretched country and set off for his home in the Carpathians, though it was slow going because of his greatly weakened state. He could barely hunt. Eventually, he was forced to find an unused coffin and go into his second death sleep.
-House of Frankenstein-
The next time Dracula awoke was in 1944, having been on display in the oddity show of traveling man Professor Lampini. Delirious and starving, he was revived by the scent of the murdered professorā€™s blood, and agreed out of gratitude to assist the two perpetrators in getting their revenge against the Burgomaster who had previously put them in jail. He held up his end of the deal, slaying Burgomaster Hussman after seducing his granddaughter-in-law, only to find that Dr. Niemann and his assistant betrayed him by destroying his coffin. Furious but unable to do anything about it before dawn, Vlad was forced to search for shelter, allowing the pair to believe heā€™d perished in the morning light. He stalked them by night, watching from the shadows as they revived and subsequently betrayed Adam Frankenstein and a werewolf by the name of Larry Talbot, but decided to leave the traitorous duo to their fates at the hands of the other monsters in favor of trying to regain his strength. Over the next four years, Dracula hunted and built himself back up, slowly but surely.
-Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein-
Once he deemed himself well enough to make another attempt at building his army, Vlad set about finding and attempting to revive Adam, still believing him to be a key element to his success. It worked, though the creature was extremely weakened by his numerous deaths and still had a burning hatred for the vampire. Obviously, that wasnā€™t ideal, so he made plans to revamp the creature that included replacing his brain with one that was much easier to manipulate. He set his sights on America, this time, getting in contact with an ambitious and brilliant doctor by the name of Sandra Mornay and coordinating with her to turn an island fort off the coast of Florida into a state of the art lab. He sent her the journal of Victor Frankenstein to study, then arranged to have himself and the once again dormant Adam to be shipped to McDougalā€™s Wax Museum. Once there, he found the perfect brain donor in Wilbur Grey, who unpacked his coffin with the help of Chick Young. Waiting until Wilbur was alone, Dracula quickly enthralled him, revived Adam once more, and made his escape to the island with the creature in tow. Once the creature was secured in the secret lab, Vlad was very pleased to find out that Dr. Mornay had already been steadily seducing Wilbur, despite Chickā€™s jealousy and misgivings about their relationship. She revealed that the boys had actually invited her to a masquerade ball on the mainland later that night, which he immediately insisted she should go to. Things got a bit more complicated when the boys showed up to the castle to pick her up with another woman in tow, whom Sandra later discovered to be an investigator for an insurance agency, Joan Raymond. Sandra excused herself, saying that she wasnā€™t feeling well and that the three of them should go with her workaholic assistant, Professor Stevens, instead. They left, and Vlad and Sandra got into an argument that resulted in him turning her into a vampire and setting off for the mainland together. Chaos ensued, mostly due to the unexpected presence of the ever righteous Larry Talbot, who finally succeeded in warning the boys about Draculaā€™s and Sandraā€™s plan, and things only went downhill from there. Talbot transformed into his lupine form with the rising of the second full moon, causing havoc at the ball and providing sufficient cover for Sandra and Dracula to abduct Wilbur, but come dawn, Talbot was able to join forces with Chick, Joan, and Stevens to formulate a plan to storm the castle. They made their charge the next night, with a third full moon high in the sky. Between the three humans, the raging werewolf, and the freed Adam and Wilbur, Dracula and Sandra found themselves quickly overwhelmed, with Adam throwing Sandra out a window and Talbot gunning for Dracula himself. Vlad luckily managed to turn into a bat and escape Talbotā€™s claws, just barely, and vowed never to cross paths with any of them again, going back into hiding.
-Modern Day-
Vlad spent the next several decades covertly touring the United States, making a concentrated effort to never remain in one place for too long and to not make any attachments to mortals or any grand plans. He discovered a love of rock ā€˜nā€™ roll in the ā€˜70s, purchased his first motorcycle and learned to ride it in the ā€˜80s, and fell head over heels in love with the life of a renegade shortly afterward.
Verses:
V; modern - Vlad rarely spends more than a few years in the same place, traveling from major city to major city without making too much of an effort to get attached. He is jaded and acts like a charming, aloof, punkass playboy, searching only for his next victim and meal.
V; main - Takes place at any point during the timeframe of the novel/first Universal movie.
V; prince - Takes place in Transylvania, when heā€™s still human.
V; stranger things - In the late summer of 1984, Vlad finds himself rolling into the seemingly sleepy town of Hawkins, Indiana, and immediately knows that something feels off about it. Intrigued, the vampire decides to investigate, and is dragged into a chaotic mess of hellish monsters, kids who are too brave for their own good, alternate dimensions, and Russian spies. Could he possibly find it in himself to act as a hero, for once?

Strengths/Powers: Superhuman physical strength and endurance, intelligence, immortality, immunity to lightning damage(in fact, it makes him stronger for a brief period).

Background: Before he was framed and executed for murder in Ingolstadt, the main body and brain Victor Frankenstein experimented on and turned into his Creature belonged to an English poet and world traveler by the name of Dante Alexander. Dante was an intelligent and soft spoken man, though his towering height (well over 6 ft, even without enhancement) and strong build seemed intimidating upon first sight. He came from a noble family, though he would much rather explore the many wonders the world had to offer than take over his father's business and aristocratic duties. He'd left home at 18, roaming all over Europe with what small fortune his father had allowed him, and by the age of 25, he'd arrived in Bavaria with five languages learned and several countries lived in. He'd intended to rest in Ingolstadt for just a week or two before finally back to his home in London, but his third day there brought tragedy and ruin. No one listened to his pleas of innocence to the brutal murder of a local girl. Justice, they all cried, must be carried out! Dante's pleas turned into vengeful curses, and finally a prayer sung with equal measures of spite and despair for the keeping of his soul. His light was then snuffed out, accompanied by chorus of cheers and jeers.
Frankenstein
When next the Creature awoke, he barely remembered anything. He could not speak the multitudes of questions on his mind, for his tongue felt heavy in his mouth. He could not move, for he was tightly strapped down to a metal table, but even if that weren't the case, his limbs felt far too leaden and long for him. What had happened to him? What had he become? He heard a startled yelp, the same voice who he vaguely remembered cursing at him while he slumbered, urging him to live. Yellowed brown eyes fixed the young man with a curious glare, but he'd scarcely looked over before his creator fled. Distressed and weak, the Creature fell back into unconsciousness. Hours later, he awoke again, screaming in pain as flames licked at his face and body. Thrashing about, he managed to free himself from his restraints, and as he fled the lab, the inferno, he caught the name printed on a placard by the door: Victor Frankenstein. Mind already working faster than perhaps it ever had, the Creature filed that name away in his memory and ran from the university to the nearby woods, seeking respite. He could feel his wounds healing as he ran, though they left their scars. The next months were spent running, observing, and learning. He learned to feed himself and seek water rather quickly by watching wildlife, surviving on nuts, berries, roots, and what small game he could catch for himself. He learned to speak again by closely observing a blind innkeeper and his family from the cover of the trees and the night, practicing to himself while they were sleeping. Thus, his first language in this form became German, though he found that he could not pronounce the words exactly as they could. In return, out of gratitude, he brought them firewood and what gathered food he could spare. It took several months for him to gather the courage to approach the old innkeeper, who spoke kind words to him and embraced him. When the Creature returned the embrace, however, he knew not his own strength, and accidentally killed the innkeeper. Lamenting his cursed body and the creator who inflicted it upon him, he fled, chased into the woods by villagers with torches and pitchforks, and swore to get his revenge on Victor. Tracking the Frankenstein name brought him to Switzerland, where he decided to get his creator's attention by murdering his younger brother, William, and framing the boy's governess for it. They met in the forest shortly before Justine's trial. The Creature told his tale and made his demands, and Victor resisted at first, but eventually gave in to the allure of a second chance at his great experiment. Their deal did not last. Victor's friend, Henry, interfered, and from there, their relationship devolved into traded revenge and trails of blood and bodies. Victor chased him all over Europe, vowing to end him, and the Creature took sadistic delight in the hunt.
Meeting Dracula
When they finally met again in the frozen Arctic, both the Creature and Victor had grown tired of their decade-long blood feud. Still, the Creature resolved to not relent until his creator apologized for casting him into a living hell. Shockingly, Victor did just that. The two embraced, tears slowly freezing as they wept, and the Creature apologized for inflicting so much pain and death. At Victor's suggestion, he took the name of Adam Frankenstein, both a gift and a shared joke between them. Victor's new companion, however, did not take too kindly to their amicable reunion. It was then that Adam witnessed the cruelty and jealous heart of Count Dracula. The vampire's fangs sunk deep into Victor's neck before Adam could stop him, and, believing his creator to be dead, the Creature swore his revenge, attacking the Count with reckless abandon. They fought relentlessly, with Dracula finally finding himself physically outmatched by an opponent. Both living dead eventually fell through the weakened ice, with Adam sinking quickly and Dracula being dragged by the ocean currents. Darkness followed. Months later, Adam found that the currents had taken him, as well. He was able to claw along the ocean floor until he found a coastline, though he had no idea where he landed. He spent decades wandering aimlessly, mourning his creator. Time became a blur to him. When he wasn't wandering, he was running or being hunted.
House of Frankenstein
Eventually, in 1944, a catatonic Adam was found by Dr. Niemann and his assistant, who desired to revive the Creature using both Victor's notes and his lab, which they had already refurbished. When he awoke, he remembered his anger and despair at the loss of his creator, both of which were only fueled by the callous saviors who sought to use him. Naturally, he rebelled, only to be fought off by a furious Wolfman. Their battle killed both mad scientists in its wake, ending with the monstrous pair falling from the parapets and plummeting into the river below. Adam, revitalized by the shock but not quite at his full strength, found that the Wolfman was a human by day, and saved him from drowning. He was determined not to end another human life, and vowed as much to an unconscious Lawrence Talbot before leaving him to be discovered by what friends the Welshman had made. Unfortunately, Adam didn't make it very far from Ingolstadt before Dracula hypnotized him, forcing him into service as a bodyguard.
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein
Adam's second drowning had weakened him greatly, as did his constant fight against the Count's influence over his mind. Over the next four years, he grew even weaker as the pair dodged war, hunger, and daylight. Eventually, he was sapped of the last of his strength, and was reluctantly forced to trust Dracula to find a way to revive him again. He remained dormant while Dracula partnered up with Dr. Sandra Mornay to find a solution. The next time he came to sustained consciousness was in a House of Horrors in Florida in 1948, when he and Dracula scared the living daylights out of Wilbur Grey, much to Adam's chagrin. He hadn't the strength to protest, however, and followed Dracula and Dr. Mornay to an island castle in the Floridian swamps. He drifted in and out of consciousness for the next few days, though he was startled to awake with Wilbur sitting in his lap one night. Before he could properly apologize for frightening the man, Dracula ushered him out of the hidden room, insisting that they could not afford to be found by Wilbur's friend, Chick, as well. They took part in a rather comical chase, with Adam growing more and more suspicious. When they were able to get back inside, he decided to fight sleep, though he pretended to go dormant once more, biding his time until the castle was empty. He didn't have to wait long. After about an hour, Wilbur and Chick left with Joan and the young professor who so reminded him of Victor, and Dracula and Dr. Mornay left shortly after. Adam took the opportunity to explore the castle without hesitation. Everything he found enraged him more and more. The lab and equipment. Victor's journal. Dr. Mornay's own notes detailing her plan to transfer Wilbur's brain into his body. Dracula wanted a more compliant monster, it seemed. He cursed the Count's name, swearing to defend Wilbur Grey with what remained of his life and end Dracula once and for all. Thinking quickly, he used the equipment in the lab to give himself a few revitalizing jolts, knowing that he would need the energy. It was the most he'd felt like himself since losing his creator. He had to make it count. Hearing the commotion of Dracula and Dr. Mornay returning with their victim, he quickly stole back into the lair to lie in wait, knowing that he'd never be able to take on two vampires and keep a human safe at the same time. He had to divide and conquer. Surrender and lure them into a false sense of security. The next hour was a blur. He was led into the lab. There was a commotion that meant Wilbur's friends must have freed him, but it didn't last, as the terrified human was wheeled into the lab, strapped to a gurney. The professor stormed in with Victor's notes and a furious expression, distracting Dracula momentarily. It was just the window Adam had been waiting for. Roaring, he broke his restraints just as Talbot broke in to do the same for Wilbur. Adam threw Dr. Mornay through the window before expressing his pleasant surprise at seeing Talbot again, though his transformation into the Wolfman quickly complicated things. He took over freeing Wilbur while Dracula fought Talbot, leading him out of the lab...only for Wilbur to run, screaming for Chick. Exasperated, Adam chased after both of them, attempting to explain himself. Eventually, he managed to get them to listen, insisting that he wasn't going to harm them, but that they had to find their friends and get out while they could. They heeded his warning, thankfully, though Professor Stephens did wind up burning down the castle. Adam found Talbot the next morning, unconscious on the ground below another shattered window, and resolved to nurse the Wolfman back to health and make him a companion rather than an enemy. They soon made the journey to Talbot's home up in Boston before parting ways amicably.
Verses:
Modern - Adam now floats from state to state, working odd jobs to earn a living for himself. His scars, though still present, have mostly faded. He looks healthy, eyes and teeth relieved of their jaundice and skin reclaiming a much more natural tone. He has to regularly give himself a jolt of electricity to continue the healing process and keep himself strong, but that's gotten easier and easier as time went on. The inventions of man have become a marvel to him. He writes poetry in his spare time, publishing books of it under multiple pseudonyms. He is still insecure about his appearance, but tries to pay it no mind. Humans have gotten less judgemental, after all, or at least more tactful.
Marvel - After learning about the Avenger known as the Hulk, Adam seeks him out, desiring both to learn from and aid Bruce Banner in any way he can.
Stranger Things - Adam arrives in Hawkins, Indiana to accept a fantastic construction job, only to find some very strange goings on. Kids disappearing. A shocking murder. Still bearing lingering trauma from what he remembers of his past, he tries to keep a low profile, at first, but the more he hears, the more he wants to help. He joins the search party, staying out much later than any of the mortals, tromping through the woods and calling out for Will Byers until his voice grows hoarse. His life only grows more complicated from there.
Past Life - Takes place during Dante's life as a human, before he was executed for a murder he didn't commit in Ingolstadt. Late Georgian Era, can do threads taking place in Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Romania, Spain, or Ireland. Pirates, sirens, and merfolk always welcome!

Spoilers for Scream and Scream 3!
Until Roman showed up and told him about his dadā€™s affair with Maureen Prescott, Billy secretly thought that he was the reason why his parents fought and divorced, and that he might have somehow driven his mother out of Westboro. He carried that shame deep inside him for several months, but it turned into bloodthirsty rage when he found out what his dad did. In my modern verses for him, Billyā€™s greatest shame is that he let Roman goad him and take advantage of that rage.

What makes Faustio Lawful Neutral (from Mun not Muse)
While he was locked up in Count Ambroseā€™s manor and trapped in that relationship, his alignment was skewed more toward neutral evil, mainly because he was desperate to escape. It didnā€™t matter what crimes he committed in the process, or who he used to cover his ass, or who got hurt. He wanted freedom, and he was willing to do anything to achieve it. Once he was out of that environment, however, his alignment skewed back over to lawful neutral over time. Heā€™s still very self-serving and will always act in favor of his own interests, but heā€™s much more conscious of those around him and will try not to hurt those who donā€™t have it coming. Lawful Neutral essentially means that you follow your own code of ethics rather than one made conventionally acceptable by law, which he does. His personal code is as follows:
Donā€™t fight someone who canā€™t or wonā€™t fight back.
Donā€™t hurt/kill minors.
Always ask for consent.
Steal what you need if/when you have to from those who can afford to lose it.
Self preservation takes precedent over almost everything. Almost.
Family comes first. (He has a great granddaughter that he reconnected with while escaping from Ambrose in 1985, and he is absolutely ride or die for her!)
Always ask for price that is higher than what you think a product is worth. (He sells stolen antiques, most of which he nicked from Ambrose.) If the buyer falls for it instead of trying to haggle, thatā€™s their own fault.
Humanity is frustrating but precious. When caught between a human and a vampire, he will almost always take the humanā€™s side.
Immortality doesnā€™t have to be a curse. Life is what you make it.
Donā€™t cause unnecessary harm, but if you do harm someone, make sure they get exactly what they deserve.

Background: Born in early June of 1962 to a wealthy neurosurgeon and his lovely housewife in Boston, Henry Jekyll had almost his entire life planned out for him. He was to be the student council president, the star of his high school basketball time, prom king, a medical student at Harvard, and eventually a neurosurgeon like his father. Henry, of course, grew less and less enthused about this as he grew older, wondering if life held more for him than his familyā€™s reputation. He developed a love of punk rock in his teen years, which later led to an even greater love of heavy metal in his late teens and early twenties, but his father made it well known that he did not approve. That was the majority of the nature of their relationship; Henry would find something that he greatly enjoyed, and his father would brutally rip it to shreds, telling the boy that it was beneath him, and that he should focus instead on his studies and other things befitting of their station. Once he was away at university, things got marginally better for Henry, despite the stress of medical school. He was somewhat freer to discover more about himself and explore his interest in music, buying an electric guitar behind his fatherā€™s back and diving headfirst into teaching himself to play. It wasnā€™t long before he fell hard for the college party scene and punk lifestyle. Parties and pub crawls, leather jackets with obscene or anti-establishment patches and ripped band t-shirts, motorcycles, and the discovery of his bisexuality. It had to be the best few years of his life! Until his grades started slipping, and his father started hearing rumors of his sonā€™s rebellious streak. The old man was furious, of course, and marched his way over to Harvard to confront Henry, violently threatening to cut him off and disown him if he did not conform. On top of it all, he revealed that Henry was arranged to be married to the daughter of a family friend as soon as he finished his residency, a timid and sweet young woman named Emma Carew, and threatened to move the wedding up to the end of that month if he didnā€™t stop his reckless carousing. Terrified, Henry fell back into glum step with what his father expected of him, believing that he had been wrong to seek an escape from the perfect life his father had worked to provide for him. He graduated at the top of his class despite his setbacks, completed his residency, married Emma despite barely knowing her, and became a neurosurgeon at an acclaimed hospital. Henry and his wife were fairly at odds; he tended to throw himself into his work and charity, while she became obsessed with their social lives. The two rarely talked, but found that they agreed on many things, including not wanting children and having a strong aversion to the conservative politics that they were raised with. Still, both of them knew that they were not in love. Emma could tell that her husband was totally miserable beneath the kind mask he wore, but she did not know how to approach him about it and thus stayed quiet for as long as she could. However, after twenty years of drifting apart and actively being shut out, Emma could no longer take the growing silence between them. She confronted him about how unsatisfied she was, unloading all of her grievances and frustrations, only to find Henryā€™s responses to be hollow and severely lacking. The truth was that he wanted to scream, to fight back against her accusations, to get angry, to throw things at the wall and curse both her and his lonely existence. He wanted to explode, like heā€™d seen other husbands do when their marriages had fallen apart, but the memory of his fatherā€™s temper and berating him about what was appropriate for a gentleman lingered in his mind. He couldnā€™t let her see that side of him. Couldnā€™t expose the raging monster that had been building and being buried inside of him for all those years. Heā€™d rather die, he thought, than hurt her like his father had hurt him. After another year of arguments and nights spent in separate rooms, the two finally got a divorce, and Henry dived even deeper into his work, scouring articles and old medical journals for a clinical method of separating the negative aspects of his personality entirely from the rest of it. He no longer wanted to feel that rage or devastation, no longer wanted to hear that voice in the back of his head telling him to jump off of a roof or kill those who had wronged him, or that he was horribly and irredeemably evil no matter how much good he tried to do. After another year of experiments with various drugs and serums, he finally developed one that he believed would either work or kill him, and tested it on himself without hesitation. It did neither, instead bringing all of the negative thoughts and emotions heā€™d always repressed to the surface and allowed them to consume him entirely. Despite there being no actual physical transformation of his body, when Henry glanced at himself in the mirror, he saw an entirely different person, horribly ugly with a wicked smile. Not wanting to believe that this entity, this terrifying shadow could ever be part of him, Henry dubbed him Edward Hyde. Edward was violent, quick to anger, loud, and unrepentant. He outwardly condemned shame, refusing to mask who he was and what he felt, and was as destructive as an F1 tornado. He was also passionate in love and lust, falling head over heels for Lucy Harris, the sultry and talented lead stage performer at a club named The Red Rat despite being close to his age. The two connected when he went to see her show one night after taking the drug, hitting it off almost as soon as she sat at his table. After month, Henry was addicted to the Hyde Serum, taking it habitually almost every night despite hating Hyde himself. Lucy and Hyde became closer and closer over the years, though she thought him to be Henry Jekyll the entire time. Eventually, their relationship grew to be sexual in nature, essentially a friendship with benefits and no strings attached between two healthy adults in their late fifties. Edward loved it; Henry was deeply ashamed of the promiscuity. He also was ashamed of the brutal fights Edward would start for practically no reason, which gradually got more and more violent until Henryā€™s friends could no longer stand to be around him for fear of being sent to the hospital. Even Lucy began to pull away. Henry viewed himself and Edward to be monstrous, convincing himself that they could not go on existing as they currently were. He has vowed to find away to erase Hyde from existence, even if it means ending himself, as well, and has tried to ween himself off of the Hyde Serum.
Verses:
V; main - Henry is a broken and lonely man who is searching for a way to eradicate Hyde.
V; past - Covers everything between the end of his residency and the creation of the Hyde Serum.
V; university - Covers his time in medical school. Andrew Garfield is his FC for this verse.
V; acceptance - Henry, after stumbling across the widely popular video game Persona 4 and playing it as a coping mechanism, is inspired to try with Hyde what the students in the game did with their Shadows. He takes a very small dosage of the serum, enough to bring Hyde out but not enough to let him take over, goes to the mirror, and has an honest talk with the side of himself that he once hated, finally accepting that it is indeed a part of him. He then destroys the rest of the serum and seeks therapy in an effort to make even more progress toward bettering himself and becoming whole again. He also throws himself back into listening to and playing rock music, as well as seeking out other things that bring him joy and other strong feelings. In this verse, he has three tattoos: a small semicolon on his inner left wrist, a swarm of bat silhouettes on his upper right arm and shoulder, and a stylized tarot card of the Death Arcana on his inner right forearm.
V; Stranger Things - In the summer of 1985, disgraced and disowned 23-year-old Henry Jekyll rolls into Hawkins, Indiana, looking for a place to lay low while he tries to get back on his feet after being kicked out by his overbearing father. Desperate for money, he takes a job at Starcourt Mall, and is soon taken on as a roommate by hunky lifeguard Billy Hargrove, who has recently managed to move into his own apartment. The two donā€™t get along well, being polar opposites, but when Billy comes home late one night, beat up and looking absolutely haunted, Henry knows something is very wrong. He puts aside his experiments with personality altering drugs aside in favor of attempting to help Billy through whatever is ailing him, and is soon dragged into a world of monsters and mayhem. His FC for this verse is Andrew Garfield. Post season three, he has the same tattoos as in the Acceptance verse.
