Perched high up on an old oak branch, mossy green eyes wander around the forest floor beneath her. It is quiet, almost … too quiet. Even all birdsong has ceased.

Brows furrowed, the elf–maid tucks her bow over her shoulder, soundlessly descending from her hiding spot onto a branch that’s closer to the ground. The quietness is uncomfortable, but then — the silence is broken by a snapping twig in some distance.

Head whipping around, Eryniel’s eyes focus on * the trespasser , and it only takes her a split second and one swift movement to point her arrow at them. “State your business, stranger.”

descended from the first elves that were tortured into orcs. a few elves managed to escape, but their minds were never the same. this darkness runs in eryn’s veins as well.

after having to watch her mother succumb to the wickedness within and turn against her own daughter, ery had no choice but to end her mother’s life and her suffering.

having seen her own fate play out before her in the form of her mother, and knowing how her own story will end, she began dedicating her life to fighting her curse.

A small smile on her lips, Eryniel observed the Elvenking, dark green eyes focused on him inquisitively.

“That is quite alright, my King. The battle has weakened you, your body was in dire need of rest.” Having used her knowledge of medicinal herbs to her advantage, she had been tending to the injured after the last enemy had fallen — then stumbled upon the King.
