soulmates are a tricky and complicated ideology

only that at some point, emotions run a big part of when you get your name(s)

you started working for the avengers as a secretary,

despite your degree is in fine arts and business.

ngl it’s hard for fine arts major to get a job in new york city,

but, Tony pays well and the apartment you get is pretty neat

getting to travel to different countries

doing items such as paperwork, filing for vacations, coffee, etc

you start to become close with the six

and over the years, the seven of you become a family of sorts

dinners

mini-vacations

matching Christmas pajamas during the 2014 holiday party

you get especially close to Natasha during the years

she’s very sweet with you

you spend the most time with her

at some point, you start flirting with her

and she flirts b a c k

but you’re too scared,

mainly because you don’t have her soulmate name

so you let the flirting stay flirting

the team had expanded to include maria, sam, and rhodey

with bucky there, the team felt on edge

tony struggled to try to deal with ross and the truth of his parents

not going to lie, he’s kinda scary at first

he didn’t speak to when you first met him

you thought he hated you tbh,

overtime, he warms up to you

as bucky starts to warm up to the 21st century

you get to introduce him items such as flavored coffee

different teas and lattes

it becomes a weekly thing to try new coffee items together

he loves a strong expresso,

he makes you feel safe when you’re with him

and you feel like you could take on the world

and you haven’t felt this way since Natasha

(oops it will be forever until you realize you have feelings for the both of them.)

bucky and nat have known each since the red room

as soldat and black widow

so, of course, it’s no surprise,,,

when the two become close

like extremely close,,,

those two are either seen with each other or you

conversating in either Russian or english, something another language to mess with sam

tony starts a betting pool to see when they get each other’s name

they all lose, to be honest

the three of you begin to spend more time together when you move into the compound,

mainly to be closer to the avengers and work

so in hindsight, that meant you would be closer to bucky and nat as well

going to get coffee together, late-night movie sessions, binge-watching seasons

the feelings of comfort and home reside with you when you’re with them

bucky and nat are your home and you hope it states that way

it won’t hit you until late at night when bucky is on a mission and Natasha is with Pepper in London,

that you feel something for them

it makes you cry happy tears

and overwhelming joy for them

a few days later,

you are the head of a budgeting meeting for the team

Between Tony, Stever, Pepper, Fury and various business people,

you felt nervous as hell to run the whole meeting,

during the first hour, you start to feel a tingling sensation in your right arm

you ignore it at first, but,,,

it goes from tingling to a burning sensation

it gets to a point you have to take a breather in the bathroom

the pain makes you cry

you’re just stuck, in shock and definitely scared

you have to breathe to not have a panic attack

your hands are shaking

you have to clear your throat, and your voice is shaking

when the meeting is over, you make a mad dash back to the compound,

it takes you several minutes of sitting in the car to calm down enough to get inside,

but when you get inside, everyone is whispering to each other,

you manage to hear a couple of interns talking

“You sure?” “yea, it’s right on his right arm”

you don’t get a chance to head back to your room

because Natasha wants to speak to you in the elevator,

she has JARVIS stop it midway, and she looks nervous

the back widow nervous? preposterous!

she pulls up her right sleeve,

Bucky’s full name is written his writing on her

“He has my name, y/n”
