#Also feel like girl’s activism would be better #if people stopped deciding she didn’t belong in a space or conversation every time she said something #and also if she didn’t have a couple of thousand people bad actors could potentially target if they wanted to oppose her statement #like her activism is pushing generally very basic ideas to the masses #maybe statements on the music industry are really the only outlier there #but also I kinda get that #she’s not an activist #also people acting like her being rich opens her up to no risk but no… #(also I do think her privellege does shelter her from being able to speak on the finer points of these discussions) #(I’m on the fence about whether she should push them forward regardless) #(tbh as a swiftie I’m more dissapointed in the jet travel) #(and lord I hope theyre at least doing some sort of carbon offsetting) #but also it’s kind of difficult to judge people accurately when you see them through the lense of public outings and social media #(and you never know people’s intentions or motivations truly) #so maybe we should just stop deciding if people are ‘allowed’ to protest or be in pain and help those who are struggling
