WARNING: LONG POST/RANT
As excited and optimistic as I am for the return of David Tennant and Russell T Davies next year, I can't help but feel that Jodie was overshadowed by the Tenth Doctor all the way through her era. The RTD era is my all-time favourite, but even I have been shocked at how literally everything 13 did outside and inside the show ended up tied to 10's era. 13's comic book series? Only the ones featuring 10 were marketed, and he showed up so many times. 13's video games? For The Edge of Time, there was almost instantly the addition of 10's TARDIS and various items, as well as 10 appearing in all the marketing for The Edge of Reality despite only really having a couple of cameos. 13th Doctor online events over lockdown? Basically drowned out by the unofficial Doctor Who Lockdown rewatches and events that heavily featured 10, as well as the Time Lord Victorious event. The merchandise has been more focused on 10 than 13 since 2020. The set of 13's TARDIS was demolished before they had even finished filming the regeneration scene. Hell, they even threw 13's Costume in the bin during the regeneration scene. Hot take, but I think that that change wasn't entirely due to a sexist idea that Tennant couldn't be seen wearing women's clothes, it was simply because the BBC wanted to immediately distance themselves as far from 13's era as soon as humanly possible.
I know the Chibnall Era wasn't particularly brilliant, and I can understand using past Doctors to boost popularity during a downturn in quality, but Jodie held her entire era together and managed to form a strong identity as the Doctor despite all the shortcomings of the material she had. All that effort and dedication to the role being immediately sidelined the moment the BBC could get Tennant's image or involvement in a project just further confirms my beliefs that Jodie's Doctor was never just given a proper chance. It wouldn't surprise me if the next era of the show basically bins 13's era via a soft reboot, there has just been that little care in promoting her era. Hopefully Tennant as 14 will bring the show back to it's glory days, but even if it does not, it will still sadly be the final example of 13 getting shoved aside to make way for Tennant.

HBO Max New Releases: December 2020
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Time and time again during this year’s pandemic, movie studios have had to make the best of a bad situation. HBO Max’s list of new releases for December 2020 comes along with the most extreme example yet.
WarnerMedia undoubtedly had big plans for Wonder Woman 1984 when it scheduled it for a holiday release last year. After moving it to the summer, however, the conglomerate had to delay its theatrical release time and time again. Now HBO Max is the lucky winner of the saga, as it gets to premiere the long-awaited sequel on its servers on Dec. 25.
While Wonder Woman 1984 is definitely the headline this month, there are some other intriguing streaming options for HBO Max in December. The month plays host to a whole host of high-powered documentaries like Heaven’s Gate: The Cult of Cults (Dec. 3), Alabama Snake (Dec. 9), and the Tiger Woods documentary Tiger (Dec. 15).
There isn’t much going on on the TV side of things. His Dark Materials is set to run its season 2 finale on Dec. 28. But at that point, everyone will likely be on their fourth Wonder Woman rewatch.
Here is the full list of everything coming to and leaving HBO Max in December 2020.

Things the DW fandom are currently doing after the revelation of the Thirteenth Doctor
Watching and/or rewatching all of Jodie’s previous projects, mainly Broadchurch
Writing new fanfic, mostly involving the Doctor and Bill falling for each other along with plenty of femslash smut involving the 13th Doctor, Bill, River and/or Clara
Trying to come up with a proper Thirteenth Doctor costume for SDCC and Halloween

so i've been on a Doctor Who kick lately, even before the 13th Doctor announcement, and I'm rewatching 12's seasons (I skipped eleven for now and will likely come back later, but i am nostalgic for 12 after finishing season 10 and i recently got the Clara pop so I wanted to watch her stuff) and anyways, the point is, i watched listen and that tiny throwaway line wherein Clara compliments her own ass made me really want to write Clara self-cest because tbqh, I kinda have a thing for that and it isn't like there aren't plenty of possibilities for that with Clara whether it be literally with herself or a lookalike, such as Saibra, Bonnie or a TARDIS projection
