This whole stream was delightful. What a way to return 🤗

Tango was so happy energetic.

And from Tango calling Etho's storage system cute and Etho in gamechat going "CUTE?!" (00:41:07). To the razzing (and laughing) over shops (00:49:00 and 01:03:49). Etho taking Tango's head twice, and it all being so playful (00:58:11). Etho using Tango's catchphrases 🥹🥹🥹 It gets me every time! "porkchop power" "flee with extra flee!" And the way he said it was the cutest, and Tango's giggle about it too (01:00:59). Etho offering to give the tour Tango wanted. More mail talk and laughing guilt and planning and razzing and teaching Etho to do the stamps. Tango complimenting the path (and that Etho showed it to him when he first came back when Etho came to say hi) (01:15:41). They still plan on doing their sand-collection-off (01:35:06).

And of course the whole TNTificating with Etho's new "boom boom tech" (01:39:43--02:15:17) was just…the most fun. They are having the most fun together...it's an absolute joy. (And it's also them collaborating on how to figure out a redstone thing together which is just so satisfying.) Just...TOO MANY (!!!) (so many) fun moments in that whole TNT section that I can't even start on highlighting them all 😭 I'd need another mammoth paragraph...

#i have no idea how to respond to the whole qsmp situation right now #i mean. i dont watch it or interact with qsmp ITSELF #only the fans around it #I have made fanart for it but not really because i have any particular attachment to specific characters but just because #its a very good springboard for character design and inspiration #Im very involved with the fanbase though as the QSMPnews discord is one of my main discords #and I mainly use the fandom space as a way of practicing/getting into foreign languages #although i dont watch qsmp it still has impacted my life massively in the last year #this clusterfuck of project management is difficult to unravel and know what to do with #and its difficult to know exactly where to turn your attention #or who to blame #since theres so many levels of miscommunication that hasnt been helped by the sharing of it online #i think. even if QSMP doesn't survive #it would be ludicrous to state it as an inherently harmful server #since there has been an evident change in the minecraft gaming space because of it in multiculturalism.#heck IM direct proof of that as someone who does not reguarly engage with the server itself via streams #the fact that as a result of a 21 year old kid deciding to start a sever I can end up with a group of spanish speakers trying to explain #various concepts to me in my language while i respond in theirs is. insane #so do i think that the qsmp will survive?#um. look i dont see how it can.#I've never thought that it could #but i dont think that im going to demonise fans or avoid content relating to it #considering how integral the fanspaces around it are to me and my personal quest for language proficiency #however I will attempt to keep qsmp posts on my french/spanish blogs #well that was. long-winded #idk this is a very self-centred look into the qsmp and this whole situation #obviously I hope that the staff get paid but. #dimension 20 spoilers #dimension 20 #d20 introductions #neverafter #neverafter spoilers #yep! just the one :)#what an ending though sheeeeeesh #i was a only a Little bit disappointed with that like significant seven rolls at the end because like the probability meant it was just free #like cmon- 7 rolls to get 3/20? and only ONE of them needed to make it?#wait #the reason it's seven is because of player actions other than the last one that brennan let them have #so it's the players like Guaranteeing for themselves that they get a happy ending since 7 x 3/20 = 21/20 probability #and like how else was a bardic inspiration die going to fit into there anyway #if they started with only 3 shots that'd be like less than half a chance of success #so it's literally all fine i just talked myself out of my doubts #the ending was silly though #as most d20 season endings are #which is a little odd for a horror season but i shouldn't be surprised #because it's d20 AND it's still invoking the like. fairy tale stuff where things usually work out #so i'm not too razzed abt it #see y'all next season!!

Some of my 1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen sims that I aged up and/or updated in the save I've been playing for 2 years (I think its that amount of time....the point is this is my main save for a long time). This is 27 out of 207 sims! And then there's another version of my simself in the last row (middle). 3 sims included here were made not born.

#at this point my norms dont really match uk other norms but what can i say #they were all mixed up by the time i got here #i actually never really play with my simself in in this save but just She's hella nosey #when i tell you there were so many times that I've see sim me around at important parts of other (related) sim's lives #its crazy #the best part of having my simself in here is knowing that we're finally twinning with the hair cause i did my hair two days ago!#so FINALLY I got what I wanted (the hair is smaller and shorter though)#this was actually a speed run through the sims i have cause i mostly play with aging on pause so i haven't been able to add make up/accs to #most of my sim but that'll happen when i actually start playing their household ig #when i tell you its like 50+ but i think i only ever played 5/6 in the two year that i had this save #i'm about to fast track all the lives of the sims rn cause i wanna put my aging back on soon #i guess you could see the connections between some of these sims #i still got 21 sims left to update before I update my game 😭

looking myself in the mirror like am I really about to completely reshuffle the lover boy timeline just so i can get the single release of i want your sex in there and write beau’s live reaction

#if I want to make it i have to set the timeline back by TWO MONTHS!!!#right now it starts June 20 into 21st and it has to be on the 20/21 because Bobby **** on the 21st #at first I was like okay so I’ll go back one month into may #and the single dropped in the us on the 18th COME ON #I am actually curious at exploring the discourse and controversy though bc it fits with the novels themes #I mean it could be fun!!!! I just have no idea how long I want the timeline to be still #the only thing I know is it needs to extend to October because there’s three major plot points there #that can’t happen in any other month #which would make it at least 6 months #if I want valentines that would make it a ten month timeline #I feel weird because RR and until heaven both had clear ending points #I mean at one point rr was four fucking years but once that was taken away I knew when it needed to end timeline wise #here it’s like well just see how the pacing goes #I almost want to end it at halloween/november bc that would be 1 year after RR ends #but that would also mean george michael faith dropping in time with the emotional climax LOL #wait if i do it like that then beaus essentially spending the whole novel waiting for george michael to release his debut solo album WAITT #that’s so funny in just the right way

REALLY want to legit learn how to sew. I can't just buy myself things for various reasons, so I'm always looking at, like, how to make dinner with random shit around the house, how to alter clothes since they WILL fit differently from 2013 (because I only own old things and hand me downs), how to repair things at home, and I really just want to have things I like to wear without resorting to fast fashion or even shipping stuff to my friends and picking it up that way. I bought one jacket off of amazon as my, like, single purchase of the last five months and I feel really bad about it (which is silly and I know it, but alas), and I just really want to be able to sew actual garments on my own. Do I need another hobby right now? Not really but we'll see.

#vent post. ish???? idk i'm fine! vibing #it's not that I'm super controlled or anything per se re: all of this #though. that is somewhat debatable (it's in good intentions though. overportective rather than controlling)#but just. i have so many people in this house and SOME OF THEM take mail and lose it bc they're confused a lot of the time #so i never order stuff bc i won't get it anyways. but i usually can't even if i want to because #i STILL don't have a credit card. cash only. i operate on gift cards.#i can't drive either #constantly banging my head against the wall trying to gain independence and jump through hoops for it #i'm working on it though. really pushing and my therapist has my back on it.#again. GOOD INTENTIONS in my household. usually. but questionable impact #the GOOD NEWS about that iffy approach is that it's very incentivizing to me to learn life skills on my own quickly #one day. i will be able to do basic things and not have it be ten people's business.#i am only 21. this is fine and normal. I have time. telling myself that I'm 'not THAT behind' until I actually believe it.

happy 10-year anniversary to the time i woke up at 4am to a call from my neighbor when i was out of town. "your cat is fine, your house is fine, but your car's been set on fire."

a guy went a little nuts one night and just. went around the neighborhood setting stuff on fire. he got my car, a truck, a bunch of random belongings that had been left outside, someone's little fishing boat that was parked in the driveway... he even tried to set some porch furniture on fire, which got him felony charges because it would have set the rest of the house on fire where people were sleeping.

the good news is that my car was the first one hit, and you can actually see on someone's doorcam footage the firetruck on the way to put it out, and they stop to put out the porch furniture fire. bea saved some lives that night.
